Think Before YOU Speak!

Friday, January 19th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  While it is true that God anoints us to speak life into other people, there are times when we use our tongues for evil purposes.  Sometimes we say things we should not.  We respond in ways we should not.  We recite things we should not.  Do you realize it is hypocritical for us to encourage one person with our tongue and then discourage someone with the same tongue?  The Bible declares in James 3:8-9 - But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.  My brother, my sister, on today, I have been instructed to pass this word along to you.

Think Before

YOU

Speak!

God does not want you to concern yourself with the way other people use their tongues, when you are misusing yours as well.  Before you attempt to convict someone else, make sure you have yourself in order.

He Knows When, Where, Why, and How!

Thursday, January 18th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When you woke up this morning how did you feel?  Were you begging for five more minutes of sleep or did you hit the ground running?  Were you dragging throughout the house or were you bouncing off the walls with excitement?  Many times in our life, we plead with God in prayer for certain things we feel we must have.  Every morning and night we remind God of our prayer request, as if He has forgotten.  For some reason we feel as if life cannot continue unless we get this specific request answered.  Do you realize for every blessing there is a condition?  I cannot live any way I choose and expect God to pour out an overflow of blessings.  I cannot treat people nasty and expect God to grant me more favor.  The reason God blesses us, is for us to bless other people.  Did you know this?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I know you really want God to give you that special “thing.”  You have already pictured yourself enjoying it.  You have bragged about it.  You have promised God things you would do if He gave it to you.  Question: What if God does not give it to you, now what?  Does your relationship with our God depend on you getting what you want, when you want it?  My friend, He Knows When, Where, Why, and How!  The Bible declares in Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  No matter how ready you claim to be, God knows the right time and the right place.  You must grow to a point that you trust the Lord’s judgment.  You must know the Father has a specific time when He will bring it to pass.

My brother, my sister, what are you asking God for?  If given, will it bring glory to the Lord’s name?  Will it edify the body of Christ?  Will people applaud you or God?  Whatever God bestows upon His people, is granted so we may turn and give His name glory.  If people are cheering for you, something is wrong.  The Bible declares in Philippians 2:10-11 - That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Beloved, He Knows When, Where, Why, and How!  Remember this, when people thank you for doing something, your answer should be “TO GOD BE THE GLORY!”  Prayer for Today: Father, allow me to always know You know when, where, why and how.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

You Are Special To The Lord!

Wednesday, January 17th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever sat down and wondered why the Lord would want to use you?  Knowing all the mistakes you have made, you wonder why would God want to use me?  The thought of God having a special assignment for your life makes you wonder what He sees in you.  Have you ever wondered why God continues to forgive you, especially when you continue to make the same mistakes over and over again?  No matter how much you mess up, the Lord continues to forgive you and love you.  There is no one in your life, except for God, who would give you so many chances.  Have you ever been driving in your car and you remembered where you use to be?  The tears begin to run down your face.  It is at that point you realize how awesome our God is.  You know if it had not been for Him you would not be alive today.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Never allow people to make you feel as if your life is without purpose.  Never allow circumstances to make you question God’s unconditional (agapé) love.  Never allow the mistakes of your past to rob you of your place in God.  There are no hidden secrets in your life that God does not know about.  There are no stones left unturned when it comes to the Lord.  He knows all and He sees all (and He still wants you.)  My friend, You Are Special To The Lord!  Life can throw some tough darts your way.  Life has a way of dropping you to your knees.  Life can make a strong man cry and a proud man humble.  No matter what life presents, God is still in control.  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with this morning?  What dilemma are you stuck in the middle of?  Are you in a state of confusion?  Be not deceived, the enemy knows you are chosen by God.  He knows the Lord has great work for your mouth, your hands and your feet to do.  This is the reason you face so much opposition.  This is the reason you find yourself being criticized.  Beloved, You Are Special To The Lord!  In spite of what people say about you, feel toward you, or think of you, God still has a purpose for you being here.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to see You in everything.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

A (Wo)Man After God’s Own Heart

Tuesday, January 16th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, yesterday the Lord blessed me to minister this powerful Word before His people.  As I was meditating before God for this morning’s devotional, He commanded me to share the four points with you.

  • Do you realize wherever you go, there is someone watching you?

  • Do you realize God has placed you where you are for a reason?

  • Do you realize there is an anointing on your life?

  • Do you realize the enemy hates you because you belong to God?

  • Do you realize there are people jealous of you and the favor you have on your life?

  • Do you realize you are on the devil’s “hit list”?

There are times in each of our lives when we wish God would give us five to ten free seconds to cuss someone out without feeling guilty in return.  People believe they can say anything to you, treat you any kind of way, or bring anything to you.  These same people are usually Christians.  In being a A (Wo)Man After God’s Own Heart, there are four things you must expect.

  1. You must expect to be opposed by others
  2. You must expect to be misunderstood by others
  3. You must expect to be overlooked by others
  4. You must expect to be criticized by others

Beloved, as long as you desire to live and please the Lord, you need to expect the above four.  Do not be shocked when attacks come from every side.

When All You Have Left is Your Faith

Monday, January 15th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  So often in our lives, we find ourselves in a place of unfamiliar.  Our surroundings are different.  The people we grew accustom to are no longer present.  You feel alone.  No one seems to understand you or your thoughts.  On your job, things seem worse than ever before.  You think of moving on, but you have not.  Your marriage started out wonderful, but now you feel unappreciated.  Finances are at an all-time low.  You are stressed and stretched.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and encourage you in the Lord Jesus Christ.  My friend, I can relate!  I understand how it feels to be surrounded by faithless, judging people.  I can recall a time when my ministry was unappreciated by others.  I remember times of low finances.  Today, be encouraged in the Lord.  When All You Have Left is Your Faith, you are in the right position.  In life, you can lose everything of worldly value; But as long as you keep your faith, you can regain more than you ever lost.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

My brother, my sister, When All You Have Left is Your Faith, learn to operate in it.  Learn to step out on it.  The Lord knows your past, present, and future troubles.  He knows you.  What portion of your life seems unchangeable?  Have you lost everything?  Are you without employment?  Without shelter?  Without finances?  Without transportation? Without peace?  By faith, place your impossible situation in the hands of God.  The Bible declares in Luke 1:37 - For with God nothing shall be impossible.  Release it over to Him and watch Him move.  Point to Remember: Whatever you do, do not lose your faith!

The Price of Leadership is Criticism!

Friday, January 12th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, while studying the Word of God this morning, I noticed something at the end of II Corinthians that I believe will deliver many of us.  So often we feel as if the entire world is against.  It appears as if everything and everyone is rebelling against what we are attempting to do.  As long as you are doing things your way, no one has a problem with you.  As soon as you commit yourself to the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, attacks come from every angle.  Do you realize the assignment on your life will bring opposition?  The enemy has received a preview of what God has purposed for you to do and he wants to hinder it from coming to pass.  This is the reason so many people despise you.  This is the reason you have difficulty receiving help from your peers.  This is why your ministry experiences so many challenges.

Beloved,

The Price of Leadership

is Criticism!

Think back over all you have ever attempted to do for the Lord.  In doing so, I guarantee you will remember great opposition you endured.  This is how you know you are on the right road.  Thank those who criticize you.  It keeps you praying.

There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!

Thursday, January 11th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been on the verge of quitting?  It appeared as if everything was going wrong in your life.  For some reason, it seemed as if everything you touched was falling apart.  While everyone around you was enjoying great success, you were fighting to stay above water.  Have you ever wondered how good could come out of a bad situation?  It is not that you do not believe, but naturally you cannot see how or where the good will come from.  Everything and everyone appears to be fighting against you.  Have you ever had people who thought they knew why you were going through what it is you are going through?  These are the people who think they know everything about everybody.  Beware of these people.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I know how it feels to endure troubling times.  I know how it feels to wonder if you are going through all by yourself.  I know how it feels to have people speak good of you one day and have the same people speak negative about you the next day.  I can relate to having more bills than money coming in.  I can relate to walking the floors at night, wondering how you are going to make it from day to day.  I have been there, but in the midst of being there I learned something important.  My friend, There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!  Do you realize God does not neglect you when things are chaotic in your life?  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:3 - He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Just because things are not going your way, does not mean God has vacated the premises.  During these times, make sure you have not strayed away from Him.

My brother, my sister, what are you going through this morning?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with?  Are you on the verge of giving up?  Do you no longer believe God can work things out for you?  At this point in time, I rebuke the spirit of quitting in the name of Jesus!  You cannot give up.  You cannot walk away.  If God started the work, He is God enough to finish it … no matter how things appear at this time.  The Bible declares in Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:  Beloved, There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!  Stop allowing people to sway you.  Stop listening to the crowd.  What is the Lord telling you to do?  It may not sound right, but if God said it … do it!  He has the best in store for you.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to understand there is good in bad situations. As long as You are there, I can and will come out on top.  In Jesus name … Amen!

Are You Living A Life Pleasing To God?

Wednesday, January 10th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, tomorrow is not promised to any of us.  Please stop living as if you have time to play.  All you have is right now.  Question:

Are You Living A

Life Pleasing To God?

Prayer for Today: Father, help me live a life that is pleasing in your sight.  If there are any areas of my life you dislike, please purge it out of me.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Stop Trying To Do Everything By Yourself!

Tuesday, January 9th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, do you realize the Lord desires to be your guide?  He desires to lead and guide you according to His perfect will.  He desires to grant unto you all you will ever have need of.  While praying this morning, the Lord instructed me to pass along this message.  Beloved,

Stop Trying To Do

Everything By Yourself!

Do you not know God is aware of your needs?  Do you not know God will put people in your life to bless you?  You are not alone in this matter.  Whatever you are dealing with this morning, understand God has a plan perfectly designed for you.

The Times When Your Heart Hurts

Monday, January 8th, 2018

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had your feelings hurt by someone you loved, adored and admired?  If it came down to it, you would do whatever it took to assist this person.  No matter how other people felt about this person, you could always see the good inside.  What do you do when that person hurts you?  The person you entrusted with personal secrets.  The person you called your “best friend until the end.”  The person you often entertained at your home.  The person you considered your prayer partner.  Have you ever found yourself stuck between continuing the friendship and ending it?  Your flesh desires to hold on, but your spirit knows it is time to let go.  While you believe things can eventually change, you know where God is taking you this person is not apart of the package deal.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, how do you handle The Times When Your Heart Hurts?  Those times when internally you are breaking down and there appears to be no relief in sight.  Those times when you smile in everyone’s face but within you are screaming for someone, anyone to assist you.  Life has a way of throwing “hell storms” (not hailstorms) your way.  Life has a way of dropping you to your knees.  I have learned during the times when my heart hurts or has been hurt to do three things: 1.) I instantly pray to the Lord.  By praying I am letting God know I have been wounded.  2.) I ask the Holy Spirit to help me!  By doing this I am sending a message that I need immediate help.  3.) I pray for the person who hurt me.  By doing this, I am able to start the healing process.  The Bible declares in Matthew 5:44 - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

My brother, my sister, who hurt you?  Who left you wounded?  Was it a friend?  A family member?  A spouse or significant other?  Was it something you did to yourself?  In order for you to experience the full manifested healing God has for you, now is the time for you to be honest with yourself.  You have been hurt.  No longer can you or should you act as if it did not hurt you.  It is time to let it out.  During The Times When Your Heart Hurts, allow God to do spiritual surgery on you first.  The Bible declares in Luke 6:27 - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.  Today is your day to start healing.  Beloved, the healing can start right where you are.  My Prayer For You Today: Father, allow my brother/sister to be honest with himself/herself.  At that point, begin to heal him/her from the root.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!
