The Price of Leadership is Criticism!

Monday, March 18th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, while studying the Word of God this morning, I noticed something at the end of 2 Corinthians that I believe will deliver many of us.  So often we feel as if the entire world is against.  It appears as if everything and everyone is rebelling against what we are attempting to do.  As long as you are doing things your way, no one has a problem with you.  As soon as you commit yourself to the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, attacks come from every angle.  Do you realize the assignment on your life will bring opposition?  The enemy has received a preview of what God has purposed for you to do and he wants to hinder it from coming to pass.  This is the reason so many people despise you.  This is the reason you have difficulty receiving help from your peers.  This is why your ministry experiences so many challenges.

Beloved,

The Price of Leadership is Criticism!

Think back over all you have ever attempted to do for the Lord.  In doing so, I guarantee you will remember great opposition you endured.  This is how you know you are on the right road.  Thank those who criticize you.  It keeps you praying.

There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!

Friday, March 8th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been on the verge of quitting?  It appeared as if everything was going wrong in your life.  For some reason it seemed as if everything you touched was falling apart.  While everyone around you was enjoying great success, you were fighting to stay above water.  Have you ever wondered how good could come out of a bad situation?  It is not that you do not believe, but naturally you cannot see how or where the good will come from.  Everything and everyone appears to be fighting against you.  Have you ever had people who thought they knew why you were going through what it is you are going through?  These are the people who think they know everything about everybody.  Beware of these people.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I know how it feels to endure troubling times.  I know how it feels to wonder if you are going through all by yourself.  I know how it feels to have people speak good of you one day and have the same people speak negative about you the next day.  I can relate to having more bills than money coming in.  I can relate to walking the floors at night, wondering how you are going to make it from day to day.  I have been there, but in the midst of being there I learned something important.  My friend, There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!  Do you realize God does not neglect you when things are chaotic in your life?  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:3 – He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Just because things are not going your way, does not mean God has vacated the premises.  During these times, make sure you have not strayed away from Him.

My brother, my sister, what are you going through this morning?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with?  Are you on the verge of giving up?  Do you no longer believe God can work things out for you?  At this point in time, I rebuke the spirit of quitting in the name of Jesus!  You cannot give up.  You cannot walk away.  If God started the work, He is God enough to finish it … no matter how things appear at this time.  The Bible declares in Philippians 1:6 – Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:  Beloved, There Is Still Good In Bad Situations!  Stop allowing people to sway you.  Stop listening to the crowd.  What is the Lord telling you to do?  It may not sound right, but if God said it … do it!  He has the best in store for you.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to understand there is good in bad situations. As long as You are there, I can and will come out on top.  In Jesus name … Amen!

Are You Living A Life Pleasing To God?

Thursday, March 7th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, tomorrow is not promised to any of us.  Please stop living as if you have time to play.  All you have is right now.  Question:

Are You Living A Life Pleasing To God?

Prayer for Today: Father, help me live a life that is pleasing in your sight.  If there are any areas of my life you dislike, please purge it out of me.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Stop Trying To Do Everything By Yourself!

Wednesday, March 6th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, do you realize the Lord desires to be your guide?  He desires to lead and guide you according to His perfect will.  He desires to grant unto you all you will ever have need of.  While praying this morning, the Lord instructed me to pass along this message.  Beloved,

Stop Trying To Do Everything By Yourself!

Do you not know God is aware of your needs?  Do you not know God will put people in your life to bless you?  You are not alone in this matter.  Whatever you are dealing with this morning, understand God has a plan perfectly designed for you.

The Times When Your Heart Hurts

Tuesday, March 5th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had your feelings hurt by someone you loved, adored, and admired?  If it came down to it you would do whatever it took to assist this person.  No matter how other people felt about this person you could always see the good inside.  What do you do when that person hurts you?  The person you entrusted with personal secrets.  The person you called your “best friend until the end.”  The person you often entertained at your home.  The person you considered your prayer partner.  Have you ever found yourself stuck between continuing the friendship and ending it?  Your flesh desires to hold on, but your spirit knows it is time to let go.  While you believe things can eventually change, you know where God is taking you this person is not a part of the package deal.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, how do you handle The Times When Your Heart Hurts?  Those times when internally you are breaking down and there appears to be no relief in sight.  Those times when you smile in everyone’s face but within you are screaming for someone, anyone to assist you.  Life has a way of throwing “hell storms” (not hailstorms) your way.  Life has a way of dropping you to your knees.  I have learned during the times when my heart hurts or has been hurt to do three things: 1.) I instantly pray to the Lord.  By praying. I am letting God know I have been wounded.  2.) I ask the Holy Spirit to help me!  By doing this I am sending a message that I need immediate help.  3.) I pray for the person who hurt me.  By doing this, I am able to start the healing process.  The Bible declares in Matthew 5:44 – But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

My brother, my sister, who hurt you?  Who left you wounded?  Was it a friend?  A family member?  A spouse or significant other?  Was it something you did to yourself?  In order for you to experience the full manifested healing God has for you, now is the time for you to be honest with yourself.  You have been hurt.  No longer can you nor should you act as if it did not hurt you.  It is time to let it out.  During The Times When Your Heart Hurts, allow God to do spiritual surgery on you first.  The Bible declares in Luke 6:27 – But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.  Today is your day to start healing.  Beloved, the healing can start right where you are.  My Prayer For You Today: Father, allow my brother/sister to be honest with himself/herself.  At that point, begin to heal him/her from the root.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Stop Letting People Upset You!

Monday, March 4th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, once again here’s a short and direct devotional for today.  Beloved,

Stop Letting People Upset You!

When we allow what people say, how they feel about us, or their opinions toward us affect our behavior, we give them power and control over us.  There will be times when you will experience hurt and pain as the result of other people, but you must learn how to deal with the situation without allowing people to get the best of you.  Remember, no one can upset you unless you allow them.

Stop Complaining So Much!

Friday, March 1st, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, here’s another short and direct devotional.  While praying this morning, the Holy Spirit pressed this heavily within my spirit.  Beloved,

Stop Complaining So Much!

Philippians 2:14 – Do all things without murmurings and disputings

By complaining, you are sending a message to God that you do not believe He can change whatever it is.  If you know He can, why spend time griping and moaning about it?  Could it be possible that the thing you are complaining about is not God’s will for you?  Hmmmm!

Lord, I Need You Right Now!

Thursday, February 29th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, today’s devotional will be short and direct.

  • Before you make another decision.
  • Before you attempt another assignment.
  • Before you put together another program.
  • Before you start your car in the morning.
  • Before you allow worry to consume your thoughts and your body.
  • Before you get upset when friends and family members betray you.
  • Before you allow the doctor’s report to discourage you.
  • Before you say, “I Do.”
  • Before you sign your name to another document.

Stop long enough to say …

Lord, I Need You Right Now!

God is available to assist us, but we must open up and let Him in!

Don’t Deny It, Receive It!

Wednesday, February 28th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.   My brother, my sister, have you started your day with a defeated mindset?  Are you already thinking defeat?  While praying this morning, I had to remind myself that God has not given me the spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).  Do you realize it is the Lord’s will for each of us to enjoy complete peace?  Peace in the midst of confusion and chaos.  Peace when no one else desires for us to have it.  Peace when things appear upside down.  Often times our days start out rocky, not because of attacks or traps, but sometimes it is because of us.  We speak ourselves out of open doors.  We discourage ourselves a lot!  We tell ourselves what we cannot have.  We pray and believe God for breakthroughs, but when they come we find a reason not to receive them.

Under the obedience of the Holy Spirit of God, I come to you to speak directly into your spirit.  Beloved, stop allowing your past mistakes to cause you to walk in fear.  Stop feeling as though past decisions will come back to haunt you.  Stop thinking because no one else in your family ever had it, you do not deserve it.  The devil is a liar.  What God has for you, is YOURS!  My friend,

Don’t Deny It, Receive It!

Stop allowing yourself to be a hindrance.  We can be our greatest roadblock.  We can be the very people, which stop us from enjoying all God has for us.  Sometimes it is not the enemy fighting you, it is you fighting you!

Scripture Reading for Today: Deuteronomy 30:19

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
