One Question For You!

Wednesday, January 31st, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In the presence of the Lord this morning, I heard the Lord saying, “restore order!”  For so long we have done things a certain way because it was very comfortable to us.  We had no regrets.  We suffered no guilt or shame.  “No longer” says the Lord.  We must RESTORE ORDER in the name of Jesus Christ.  How can we proceed the same way?  Have we forgotten Jesus?  Have we forgotten the Lord’s sacrifice(s) for us.  Allow me to ask you one question.

Are You Doing What God Called You To Do?

If not, what will it take?

The Bible declares in Proverbs 18:16 – A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Can You Still Tell The Lord, “Thank You?”

Tuesday, January 30th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, …

  • After all you have been through in your life.
  • After all people put you through.
  • After all the lies and vicious rumors spread about you.
  • After all the storms and tribulations you have endured.
  • After all the dilemmas you overcame.
  • After all the roller coaster rides you experienced through relationships.
  • After all the traps the devil set against you.
  • After all the doubters and haters you conquered.
  • After all the backstabbing and backbiting you bounced back from.
  • After all the “church folk” who questioned your calling and judged your anointing.
  • After all the bills you were able to pay when it did not look promising.
  • After all the nights you cried yourself to sleep.
  • After all the hell you experienced just this year.

Can You Still Tell The Lord, Thank You?”

Just Be You!

Monday, January 29th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you realize in life you will never be able to please everyone?  No matter how hard you try someone will find something to complain about.  Whether you give 100% or 10%, people will gripe and moan about your work ethic.  People are funny that way.  As long as you do what they want you to do, they are fine.  As soon as you begin to do things the Lord’s way, the same people rise up against you.  Do you realize some of your greatest opposition will come from people right around you?  It is very important for you to know who your true friends are before experiencing a storm in life.  Never wait to the storms of life begin to rage before you identify whose for you or against you.  The person smiling in your face today may not be your friend tomorrow.  Do you understand?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Just Be You!  Do not try to become someone else.  Do not allow people to alter your ways to mimic someone else.  God made you an original not a cheap copy.  Do not try to change who you are with hopes that people will accept you.  People will beg you to change and then complain once you do.  The Bible declares in Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  There is something in you that God placed there.  In spite of your flaws, He still birthed something within you.  In spite of your stumbles and falls, the Lord still anointed you for this hour.

My brother, my sister, do you realize God did not make a mistake when he chose you?  He did not accidentally pick you.  The Lord knows all about you.  The Bible declares in John 15:16 – Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.  Beloved, Just Be You!  Be all God created you to be.  Do not cheat yourself or the world by trying to imitate anyone but Christ.  Yes people will try to run your life.  Yes people will judge you.  Yes rumors will circulate about you.  Yes lies will spread.  BUT no matter what, you remain who the Lord ordained you to be.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me be the best ‘me’ I can be for the Kingdom of God.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Lay Aside Religion and Develop A Relationship!

Friday, January 26th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been tired in your body?  For some reason you were experiencing extreme weariness.  Things were going well at home, at the church, at the job, with your ministry, but you were still tired.  You could not think of anything wrong in your life that would cause you to be drained, but you were.  Have you ever had God interrupt your sleep because He wanted to talk with you but instead of getting up you layed in the bed?  I use to think I had to use the restroom.  I never thought to get on my knees and seek the Lord.  I know better now.  There are times and there will be times in our lives when the Lord will trouble our sleep in order to get our attention.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  When was the last time you spent one-on-one time with the Lord?  When was the last time you sat still and listened to the voice of God?  When was the last time you let go of your pride and cried out to the Lord?  When was the last time you had a worship experience?  So often in our lives we become accustom to traditions, religion, and programs until we lose sight of relationship.  Many times the weariness we experience in our body comes as a result of doing things on our own.  My friend, Lay Aside Religion and Develop A Relationship!  The Bible declares in Hebrews 12:1 – Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.  Do you realize many people know more about church protocol than they know about God?

My brother, my sister, it is time for us to lay aside our programs and submit to God’s will.  Some of the things we consistently do are not centered around the Lord but ourselves.  They’re designed for us to receive glory and applauds.  The traditions we hold tight have literally sucked many people dry.  The Bible declares in Matthew 15:6 – And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.  Beloved, Lay Aside Religion and Develop A Relationship!  God does not care what denomination you belong to.  He does not care how large your church’s membership is or how nice your dress on 1st Sunday.  These things do not save souls or develop covenant relationships.  Is what you are doing bringing any glory to the Lord?  My Prayer for You Today: Father, I pray that my brother/sister will get to know you in a more intimate way.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

You Thank The Lord In Spite Of!

Thursday, January 25th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.

  • What do you do when you have done all you can to stand but it seems like you just cannot?
  • What do you do when you have trusted in your abilities but they could not do what you needed to be done?
  • What do you do when you have given your all to a person, a place, or a thing and when the tables turned you could not get the same in return?
  • What do you do when everyone around you vacates the premises during your lowest points of life?
  • What do you do when all you have left is your faith in God?
  • What do you do when no one else believes in your dreams but the Lord?
  • What do you do when you have prayed and fasted for someone who was not praying and fasting for themselves?
  • What do you do when you get the telephone call that changes everything you planned for?
  • What do you do when the doctor gives you a report that caught you off guard?
  • What do you do when people doubt your ministry, question your anointing and judge your character?
  • What do you do when “church folk” spread gossip and nasty rumors about you?
  • What do you do when you go from the mountaintop to the valley in 24-hours?
  • What do you do when your job is snatched away from you because of jealousy?
  • What do you do when bills are coming in but the money is running behind?
  • What do you do when God called you but man rejects you?

You Thank The Lord In Spite Of!

It is during these times that we realize God is still greater than whatever we experience in life!  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

What Do You Do When You Trip?

Wednesday, January 24th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time doing the wrong thing?  You knew what you were doing was ungodly but for some reason you continued doing it.  In spite of the repercussions you decided to proceed in your act.  Have you ever said, “I will never do that again” but found yourself doing it again?  Your words sounded sincere but your heart and mindset had not change.  You had everyone around you believing a change was about to occur, but it never did.  Have you ever had family and friends tell you nothing good would come out of you?  With no hesitation, they looked right in your eyes and attempted to kill your dreams.  Have you ever had more enemies than friends and more questions than answers?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Life will often put you in uncomfortable situations.  There are times when you find yourself involved in discussions or engaged in acts that you know could tamper your anointing.  While you believe it is harmless, the long-term effects could pose a greater burden than you ever expect.  My friend, What Do You Do When You Trip?  I am not talking about the all out ‘fall,’ but what do you do when your footsteps stumble?  Many people never realize, all falls happen after a trip.  It is the trips of life that cause many Believers to give up.  It is the trips of life that expose our weaknesses.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 8:15 – And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.  Understand, anyone can mimic an act but no one can mimic an anointing.  While people attempt to do what God has called you to do, if the anointing is not upon them there performance will be just that.

My brother, my sister, to trip means to make a mistake or false step; to catch the foot against something so as to stumble.  So I ask you again, What Do You Do When You Trip?  What do you do when you do what you said you would never do?  What do you do when you find yourself stumbling into sin?  It is during these times when we must admit to ourselves that we are nothing without the Lord Jesus Christ.  As long as we think we can do it ourselves, we will continue to trip and eventually fall.  The Bible declares in John 11:10 – But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.  Beloved, now is not the time for you to walk around proud and boastful (Proverbs 16:18).  At the point of life when you notice yourself tripping, repent and ask the Lord to guide your steps.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have tripped enough.  Please forgive me.  Orde my steps, in the name of Jesus … Amen!

Open Your Mouth And Encourage Someone!

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  I want you to know God loves and adores you.  I want you to know I appreciate you.  I want you to know your efforts have not been overlooked.  I want you to know you really do make a difference.  I want you to know I thank God for you.  So often in life we go each and every day without ever hearing words of encouragement or kindness.  We give so much of ourselves to people without ever receiving a simple ‘thank you.’  There are times when you find yourself so discouraged with life and how it has treated you.  You want to throw in the towel.  You want to give in.  It is during these times when you need to hear how valuable you are to the body of Christ.  Please forgive me for ever overlooking your value.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, how does it make you feel to know I appreciate what you do for the body of Christ?  How does it make you feel when you think about your value?  The joy you feel within is the same joy your neighbor can experience if you make it a point to encourage someone else.  We all need to hear and know we are appreciated.  Tell the people around you how blessed you are to have them.  Tell your family members how great it is to be with them.  Do you realize tomorrow is not a guarantee?  All we have is right now.  Do not put off for tomorrow what you can do and say to someone today.  Open Your Mouth And Encourage Someone!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

My brother, my sister, do not allow another day to go by without encouraging someone.  Understand this, if you sow encouragement today, during the times when you need it you can expect to reap it.  Beloved, we ever know what the people around us are enduring.  So often we think we know it but we really do not.  We only know what they allow us to know.  Some people have suicidal thoughts run through their minds.  Some people battle low self-esteem.  Some people walk the floors at night worrying about everything.  Open Your Mouth And Encourage Someone!  The Bible declares in Galatians 6:7 – Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for always being there for me. Lord help me encourage those around me each and every day.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Do Not Allow People’s Opinions …

Monday, January 22nd, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, so often we allow what people say and think of us to hinder the assignment God has placed on our lives.  We spend hours, days, weeks, months, and years trying our best to make everyone around us approve who we are.  We do not feel important unless our loved ones give us the nod of approval.  Do you realize God’s assignment for your life has been stamped and approved by Himself?  His approval is all you need to succeed.  People’s opinions will change as the seasons change.  Today they may dislike you and tomorrow they may flock toward you.

Beloved, the Bible declares in Psalms 118:8 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.  I understand you want to be liked and loved by everyone, but you must proceed in obedience to God whether they agree with you or not.  For today, I have been given strict instructions to share.  While riding in the car this morning, the Holy Spirit told me to tell you …

Do Not Allow People’s Opinions To Hinder Your Progress!

Prayer for Today: Father, please help me to proceed forward, no matter what people say or think about me.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Title Seeker or God Pleaser?

Friday, January 19th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever known someone who always wanted to be in the spotlight?  No matter what the occasion pertained to, this person had to be in the limelight.  Even if it meant hurting someone, this person would do whatever it took to be seen and heard.  Have you ever had to work with a person like this?  Maybe at church or at work.  This person would allow you to do all the work but they wanted all the credit.  For some reason this person has the strange idea that always being out front is wonderful.  Do you realize being placed before the people requires a great responsibility … especially when you are doing it for the Lord?  Fasting, praying, obeying, trusting, seeking, denying, are requirements.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, are you a Title Seeker or God Pleaser?  When people ask for your assistance, do you offer it because you love the Lord or because you desire to be seen?  Is your heart yearning to please the Lord or gather as many titles as possible?  Many times in life people will cut you at the throat just to have the opportunity of being out front.  Whatever it takes, their going to do it.  Lie, cheat, deceive, manipulate, scam, compromise, whatever it takes.  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:5 – And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.  As much as I love ministering to God’s people, it will never measure up to how much I love the Lord.

My brother, my sister, what about you?  Are you a Title Seeker or God Pleaser?  When people evaluate your ministry, can they tell you desire to please the Lord?  Can they see your zeal for the Lord Jesus Christ?  Are you in it for the money or the ministry?  Are you easily angered when someone does not call you by your title?  Beloved, do you realize when we get to Heaven, our titles will remain here on earth?  God will not say, “Pastor such and such, enter in.”  No, no, no!  According to Matthew 25:21 – His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  This morning, check your motives.  Evaluate yourself.  Can you be effective for the glory of God with or without the title?  Prayer for Today: Father, allow my heart to always desire to please you and not seek titles and positions.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

 Don’t Fuss Just Trust!

Thursday, January 18th, 2024

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself arguing with people about what the Lord told you to do?  For some reason you felt the need to run and tell everyone.  In doing so you have now run into people who do not understand what you are talking about or they do not believe God really said it.  Instead of you operating in obedience, you spend every waking moment trying to make your peers grasp what the Lord specifically said to you.  Do you realize everyone will not understand?  Do you understand where God plans to take you everyone cannot go on the ride?  Do you realize your current friends may not be your future friends?  Truthfully speaking, when the Lord begins to move heavily in His children’s lives, moving and shaking takes place.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.   My friend, Don’t Fuss Just Trust!  Stop getting upset with people because they do not believe what the Lord said to you.  Stop spending so much time chasing people down to get them on aboard.  If you begin to obey the Word God spoke into your spirit, the people who doubt today will eventually believe tomorrow.  Many people will not believe until they see you bear fruit.  The Bible declares in John 15:5 – I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  The Word of God spoken to you will always produce what man said it could not.  People will initially doubt you and your ability to hear from the Lord clearly.  They will look you up and down and wonder how or why God would want to speak to you.  In spite of it all, you are charged to operate according to the Word God spoke to you.

My brother, my sister, Don’t Fuss Just Trust!  Do not argue any longer but place your trust in our Master’s hand.  If God spoke a Word into your hearing, He made no mistake in doing it.  He knew who He was talking to when He did it.  Man may not believe, … so what!  Family members may question your hearing ability, … so what!  You must trust in the Lord and what He said.  The Bible declares in Psalms 118:8 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.  Beloved, I believe God is still speaking to His people.  I believe God can speak a Word to you.  But even if I do not believe, you must believe.  Go forth and obey what thus said the Lord.  Prayer for Today: Father, I vow to trust in what you spoke for me to do.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!
