It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  There are times in each of our lives when it appears as if the sun refuses to shine.  It is during this time that everything appears out of control in our life.  Turmoil within the family.  Confusion on the job.  Attacks against your spiritual walk.  Demands on your finances.  For some reason you have arrows being thrown at you from every angle.  How do you handle times like these?  Times when you begin to second guess your entire life and the decisions you have made.  Times when you believe God is punishing you for something you did years ago.  Have you ever gone through a storm in your life and everyone around you had advice on how to come out?  They knew it all.  They knew why it was happening and why God was allowing it to occur.  Beware of people who think they know it all. 

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  The Bible declares in Job 14:1 – Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.  There will be times in each of our lives when trouble will take place.  There will be times when we face demonic attacks.  Each and everyday we are involved in spiritual warfare against an adversary who is determined to destroy us.  While we know these things will take place, we must also know God is greater than any attack, storm, dilemma, circumstance, mountain, valley, or battle you fight.  My friend, He Alone Is God!  We serve a God who is God alone.  The Lord does not need me to prove He is God.  He does not need my applauds to verify who He is.  While it is true, God inhabits the praises of His people, do not be fooled to think God does not move until you wake up.  

My brother, my sister, He Alone Is God!  There is no comparison to the goodness of the Lord God.  Heaven and earth exist because of who He is.  Mankind has been created in His image and likeness.  He is the Lord who sits high and looks low.  He is the Lord who makes provision for your problems … even before you recognize the problem.  He is the Lord.  Beloved, can you think of anyone or anything that can compare to Him?  The Bible declares in Ephesians 3:20 – Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  What are you dealing with today?  What dilemma do you find yourself involved in?  Do you still believe in the power of our God?  Your matter can change.  Prayer for Today: Father, whatever I am facing in my life, I do believe You are able to turn it around.  Have Your way, in the name of Jesus … Amen!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I want you to try something I believe will bless your life.  I want you to try avoiding the opportunities to complain.  Whatever the matter may be, I want you to try your best to praise God instead of complaining.  Many times in our lives complaining is so easy to do.  There are times when people will get on our last nerve.  There are times when you feel as if someone is attempting to take advantage of you.  There are times when you feel an injustice is taking place … especially on your job.  The devil makes complaining about things such an easy tool to use.  With no second thought we open our mouth and lash out.  Do you realize the complaining we do is really our way of telling God ‘I do not believe you can change things?’  Think about the things you complain about, I guarantee God can change it.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Replace Complaining With Praise!  You must understand God will do one of two things during the times when you feel everything and everyone is demanding.  He will either change you in the situation or change the situation for you.  While many people would love Him to do the latter, truthfully God normally does the former.  The Bible declares in Philippians 2:14 – Do all things without murmurings and disputings:  God knows what He has placed within each one of us.  He also knows what it will take to get His investment out of us.  Many of us respond better to conflicts and overwhelming situations.  During these times our anointing shines.  Do you realize your fellow co-workers love to stand around the coffee pot and complain about everything and everyone.  Even some Christians are involved and at times their leading the coversations.  

My brother, my sister, Replace Complaining With Praise!  God receives no glory when His children are engaged in conversations full of complaining.  When you are complaining about your job, do you ever stop to think how many people would love to be employed?  When you are complaining about your children, do you ever stop to think how many people woule love to be able to have children?  Yes people bother you, BUT you also bother people.  The Bible declares in Jude 1:16 – These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.  Beloved, stop filling God’s ears with complaining and start filling them with praise.  Praise causes God to respond faster than any complaints … try it and see for yourself.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to praise You when I desire to complain.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  There are times in our lives when everything we planned for seems very hard to achieve.  During the planning stage everything and everyone was on board.  No opposition stood in your way.  Everyone was speaking words of encouragement.  Many people were praying for and with you.  Never did you imagine attacks would come your way.  How is it that one day everything is going your way, but the next day you are fighting off demonic assaults?  Do you realize there are people who will stand in the same crowd as you but never connect with you?  Do you realize there are people who will laugh at your jokes but within they’re plotting to destroy you?  When you are planning for success there are people who will help you with the blueprint, but as soon as you graduate to the implementing stage the same people are the “hell-raisers!” 

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Do you realize God has a specific assignment and calling on your life?  Do you realize the devil knows you are special in the eyes of God?  Do you realize everyone who surrounds you are not true friends (think about Judas Iscariot)?  My friend, Beware of False Impressions!  Just because a person nods their head in agreement does not mean (s)he is on board.  You must operate with the spirit of discernment.  This is your ability to spiritually see what naturally is going on.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 52:11 – Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.  There are some things God commands you to separate yourself from.  

My brother, my sister, do you really know the people around you?  Do you really understand their motives?  I know you hate being alone, but is (s)he really who God sent in your life?  Yes the words are beautiful and the promises appear sincere, but has (s)he produced any Godly fruit yet?  The enemy is out to destroy.  He is out to make you fall into temptations, which ultimately lead you into sin.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 6:18 – Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  Beloved, Beware of False Impressions!  Before you commit yourself to any person, place, or thing, make sure it is not a tool of the devil.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me discern between Your will for me and the devil’s attack against me.  In the name of Jesus … Amem!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever heard the Lord speak a specific word into your spirit but you still tried to ignore Him?  You knew it was the Lord without any doubt but what He said you were not willing to do.  After all He instructed you to do, you still desired to avoid His orders.  Within you knew it was the Lord.  Have you ever tried to do things against the will of God?  You knew what you were doing was not pleasing to the Lord but you attempted to do it anyway.  Everyone else was encouraging you and your behavior but you knew God was not pleased.  Have you ever tried to hide from the presence of God, run from the call of God, or shut your ears to the voice of God?  

This morning, I have been commissoned to come and minister to you.  My friend, The Blessing Is In The Obedience!  It does not matter how logical your plans are, if the Lord says otherwise you need to obey.  No matter how difficult the task may appear if God gives a vision, He will also grant provision.  I know you want to please everyone.  You’re trying to appease everyone’s feelings.  Do you realize where God is taking you many people will not understand?  Not only that, many of them are not allow to go with you.  The Bible declares in 1 Samuel 15:22 – And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  It is never easy letting go of what you think is needed.  There are many people, places, and things in our life that we are holding onto but the Lord has instructed you to let go.  

My brother, my sister, The Blessing Is In The Obedience!  You cannot continue to ask God for bountiful blessings if you are not willing to submit and obey when He speaks.  It is time for each of us to stop being disobedient children to a loving Father.  Today, what area of your life are you disobedient in?  What matter are you still trying to handle on your own?  What more must the Lord say before you decide to obey?  The Bible declares in Isaiah 1:19 – If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:  Beloved, now is the time for you to obey.  No more excuses and no more delays.  Prayer for Today: Father, I vow to obey You.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had a tragedy occur in your family?  Someone you loved with all your heart is no longer here with you.  The people who said they would never betray you have walked out on you at your lowest point in life.  The places you often visited to find relief no longer permit you to enter.  Has life ever hit you below the belt?  Just when you had both feet planted firmly on the ground, an unforeseen circumstance arose out of nowhere.  You thought everything was properly planned but the storms of life came and tore everything down.  Have you ever had your lifelong dreams threatened by a bad doctor’s report, or a job that decided to downsize, or a spouse who decided (s)he no longer wanted to be married. 

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Hold Your Head Up!  While it is hard to recover after tragedy has struck, it is possible to recover.  You must understand your ability to get back up and carry on will not come through your flesh.  It will not come through the amount of degrees you own.  Your ability to hold your head up will come by the power of the Holy Spirit of God.  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:1-2 – I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. ² My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.  The help you stand in need of will only come when you lift your eyes unto the hills and realize God has not forgotten you.  Life might have hit you with a severe blow but God can and will heal the wound. 

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with this morning?  What tragedy are you faced with today?  Do you feel as if you will not be able to make it?  Beloved, Hold Your Head Up!  There will be days when you cry and nights when you feel alone, but God has given us the Comforter (the Holy Spirit.)  It is during the hurtful days of our life that the Holy Spirit is able to show us His glory.  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Child of God, understand, your pain and my pain may be different.  But your God and my God are the same.  We serve a God who specializes in things, which seem impossible.  God loves you.  Hold Your Head Up!  Remember, earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!  My Prayer for You Today: Father, help my friend through this tragic time in his/her life.  Manifest Your presence.  Let the Holy Spirit take control.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, I have come to say one important thing to you this morning. 

LISTEN TO AND OBEY THE HOLY SPIRIT!

The Holy Spirit will never lead you wrong nor will He ever cause your foot to stumble.  Whether you have full understanding or not, if the Holy Spirit gives you instructions … please obey.  The Holy Spirit knows what is best for you and me.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me obey the Holy Spirit, which resides in me.  Help me to rely on the Holy Spirit as I go forth each day.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, God Has Not Forgotten About You!  I do not know what you are dealing with this morning.  I do not know what dilemma you find yourself faced with today.  I do not know what obstacles stand in your way.  I do not know what mountain stands between you and the promise God made to you.  I do not know what you have lost along this journey.  I do not know the nights you walked the floors with tears running down your face.  I do not know how many people walked away from you.  I do not know what mistakes you have made along the way.  

Beloved, while I do not know these things, here’s what I do know.  I know God loves you.  I know God gave His only begotten Son for you. I know God has a specific plan for your life.  I know God has called you for such a time as this.  I know God is orchestrating the events of your life.  I know your latter days will be greater than your former days.  I know what God has for you is definitely for you.  I know earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.  I know the promises of God are yea and amen.  I know the devil is a liar and the blessings of God are for you.  I know God will never leave nor forsake you.  I know God can make provision for you.  I know God is a very present help in the time of trouble.  I know you have more going for you than what is against you.  God Has Not Forgotten About You! My Prayer for You Today: Father, help my friend to see that what You have for him/her is greater than anything (s)he ever experienced in life.  Give him/her the strength to hold on and hold out.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever suffered tragedy within your family?  Maybe someone close to you passed away or a close friend betrayed your trust.  Have you ever had life hit you with something unexpected?  Out of nowhere, things began to go from bad to worse.  The plans you made were put on hold because an unforeseen circumstance required immediate intervention.  Have you ever watched someone you love fight for their life?  With your own eyes, you watched as this person fought for every breath they took.  You watched as this person, whom you loved, suffered and there was nothing you could do about it.  Have you ever been mad at yourself because you wanted to do more but there was nothing else to be done?  You did all you could possibly think of but things still did not change. 

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Often times life catches us off guard with situations we were not prepared for.  While things appear under control, to our surprise one phone call, one doctor’s visit, one missed paycheck, and now everything is hanging by a thread.  Who would have ever thought things could get like this.  This was not apart of your plans.  Your masterpiece did not conclude like that.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there?  A place where you wonder how you will go on.  My friend, There Is Life After This Matter!  The Bible declares in 1 John 4:4 – Ye …because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.  I know how it feels to lose close relatives to death.  I know how it feels to lose close friends to jealousy.  I know how it feels to wonder if things will ever get better.  I know the feeling.  BUT, I also know how it feels when Jesus intervenes and intercedes for me. 

My brother, my sister, what are you currently dealing with this morning?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with?  What tragedy has you questioning life and the Lord?  What has happened that makes you want to quit?  There Is Life After This Matter!  You can make it.  You can survive this situation.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:37 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  Beloved, this is not the time to give up.  This is not the time to doubt God’s abilities.  This is not the time to question your dreams and purpose.  No, no, no!  This is actually the time for you to stand up and be bold.  God is on your side.  No matter what has happened, you can and will make it.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me see that there is life after this matter.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!
