My Prayer for You!

Friday, September 29th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today’s devotional is My Prayer for You!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for the recipient of this devotional prayer.  I pray that Your glory will be revealed in his/her life each day.  I pray that divine purpose You have for my brother or my sister to fulfill will come to pass.  Master God, I pray that the latter will be greater than the past in their life.  No matter what (s)he has experienced in life, I pray that you strengthened him/her to continue enduring for Your glory.  Open doors for my friend.  Pour out bountiful blessings for my friend.  Meet my friend at the point of his/her greatest need.  If there are any obstacles, send Your angels forth to make every crooked road straight.  If there are any traps being set, I speak confusion into the enemies camp.  If there are any marital difficulties or financial hardships or parental conflicts or employment heartaches, I speak peace into his/her spirit … in the name of Jesus.

Lord, endow my friend with Your precious anointing.  Enable my friend to stand in the gap for others.  If there is sickness, I declare healing into his/her body.  If there is a need for a financial breakthrough, I speak overflow in his/her life.  If there is a desire to give up, I speak endurance and perseverance.  In the name of Jesus, I speak that Your linked angels will guard his/her everyday affairs.  The devil is defeated by and through the blood of Jesus Christ.  Lord, allow Your will to be done in my friend’s life.  In the name of Jesus, receive this prayer … Amen!

Do Not …

Thursday, September 28th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister,

  • Do not bow down to the unrighteousness of this world.
  • Do not compromise your faith in God for a unfulfilled promises made by man.
  • Do not cast your cares on others but cast them on the Master.
  • Do not trust your life to anyone but the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Do not give up the promise God gave you.
  • Do not walk away from the “thing” God said was yours.
  • Do not run from your problems but run to your God.
  • Do not worry God will never leave nor forsake you.
  • Do not ever think God would forget about you.

Beloved, no matter how bad things appear in your life, God is greater than any problems you will ever face.

It Comes With the Territory!

Wednesday, September 27th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had someone walk out on you at your lowest point?  You always knew they would be there.  You always knew they could be counted on.  Never in a million years did you think they would walk out on you at your lowest point in life.  The questions begin to run around within your head.  “How could they do this?”  “What did I do to deserve this?”  “I thought they were my friends?”  “If it were me, I would never do that to them?”  Have you ever watched jealousy tear your family and friends away from you?  As God began to bless you, family and friends began to talk behind your back.  As long as you were scraping for help, they liked you.  For some reason they enjoyed watching you struggle to make ends meet.  Now that God has blessed you abundantly, they’re quick to judge and ridicule you.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  You never imagined this much trouble came with being anointed.  You never thought so much pain would come because you were chosen of God.  You never believed your enemy was once your best-friend.  My friend, It Comes With the Territory!  It’s hard being anointed.  It’s hard having a special calling on your life.  Everybody cannot handle the fact that God is using you, when they believe it should be them.  Remember, when you told God you were available for service?  This is part of the assignment.  The Bible declares in Matthew 22:14 – For many are called, but few are chosen.  I know it is difficult watching people you love turn their backs on you.  I know it is hard watching childhood friends turn into ravenous attackers.  Although it is difficult to handle, it really does happen.  Many people enjoyed the times when you called them to borrow.  They loved the times you ran to them for advice.

My brother, my sister, It Comes With the Territory!  It will cost you something to be anointed.  To be anointed of God is not how good you sound when you sing, teach, or preach.  The anointing is the hand of God resting heavily upon your life.  The anointing is something man can never take credit for.  The anointing is what makes the difference, not your many degrees or seminary training.  The Bible declares in Matthew 3:16-17 – And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  Beloved, always remember this: For every person who leaves you stranded, God will always replace them with someone better.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me remain focused on the assignment You have given me.  I pray for those currently around me.  Remove the snakes and reveal the supporters.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

What Will It Take?

Tuesday, September 26th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, What Will It Take?

  • What will it take for you to totally trust God?
  • What will it take for you to surrender your all to the Lord?
  • What will it take for you to let go and let God?
  • What will it take for you to allow God to use you?
  • What will it take before you stop repeating the same mistakes?
  • What will it take before you realize the enemy is trying to destroy you?
  • What will it take before you realize everything that glitters is not gold?
  • What will it take before others see the anointing of God on your life?
  • What will it take before you take ownership of what God said was yours?
  • What will it take for you to lead others to Christ?
  • What will it take for you to realize God has all your needs under control?
  • What will it take for you to realize there’s nothing too hard for the Lord?
  • What will it take for you to see God in everything?

Beloved, What Will It Take?  Only you can answer the above questions!

Take Your Hands Off … Now!

Monday, September 25th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever attempted to hold on to something or someone that you know God said let go of?  You heard directly from the Spirit of God about the matter.  You know what the Lord said, when He said it, where you were when He said it, and why He said it.  What are you going to do now?  You have two options in front of you: 1) Be obedient; or 2) Be disobedient.  The decision is left for you to make.  Have you become so convicted by your past that you are unable to focus on your present or believe for your future?  After all God has delivered you from, are you still going back to the mess He brought you out of?  Today is our day of liberty.  Today is our day of deliverance.  Do you believe?  Are you tired of living the same way over and over again?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Take Your Hands Off … Now!  Until you let go and trust the Lord, you will always face struggles and you will never experience the abundant life He promised you (John 10:10).  The Bible declares in Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  The struggles you are facing has nothing to do with whether or not God can do it.  The struggles come because you still think you can.  As long as you think you have what it takes to do what only God can do, you will always trust yourself more than the Master.  Sooner or later you will realize God does not need help being God.  God can do what no one else has the power to do.

My brother, my sister, Take Your Hands Off … Now!  What are you holding on to this morning?  What circumstance or situation has you in bondage due to disobedience?  You do realize disobedience is a sin in the sight of God.  Beloved, LET IT GO TODAY!  God desires to do something miraculous in your life.  I know how much you love the person, the place and/or the thing, but you must entrust it to the Lord.  God can fix what no one else can.  He can repair broken relationships, mend broken hearts, restore health to you body, uphold marriages, protect children and supply all needs.  He can do this and more.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 58:12 – And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.  Today, Take Your Hands Off! Prayer for Today: Father, help me take my hands off of the person, place or thing that You told me to.  Today I release it over to You.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Are You Out Of Touch?

Thursday, September 21st, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever felt misunderstood by family and friends?  They see you each and every day, but for some reason they still do not understand you.  They know you by name but do not understand you.  They converse with you on a regular basis, but they do not understand you.  They smile in your face each day but they do not understand you.  Why is this?  It’s because they are out of touch with you.  Many times people know of you, but they do not know you.  They can call your name and tell people things about you, but they do not know you on a personal level.  Have you ever been there before?  You knew of someone, but you did not know them personally.  On this Christian journey, there are many brothers and sisters who know of God but they do not know God intimately.  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Are You Out Of Touch?  Are you operating under the assumption that you know and understand God?  It is amazing how we can attend church every Sunday, but never fully trust in the Lord.  It is amazing how we can quote Bible verses without any complications, but we never refer to them when the storms of life begin to rage.  The Bible declares in Matthew 7:21 – Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Do you realize God is the same God when you are on the mountain top, as well as when you are in the valley (Hebrews 13:8)?  He does not change (Malachi 3:6).  When our daily circumstances consume us, it usually means we have fallen out of touch with God and His abilities.

My brother, my sister, Are You Out Of Touch?  Have you strayed away from the presence of God?  Have you placed your trust in others or are you still seeking after the Lord?  The Bible declares in Psalms 118:8 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.  Beloved, the worse feeling in the world is to think you know but you really do not.  Many people think they know God, but they really do not.  If the truth were told, we know of God based on what others preach and teach us.  Instead of reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God, we depend on someone else’s interpretation.  Allow me to share one important thing with you.  The only way you can fall out of touch with the Lord, is if you choose to do so.  God desires to commune with you, but you must desire it as well.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to always remain in close fellowship with You.  Allow me to always trust in You, no matter how things appear.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Keep Your Ego In Check!

Wednesday, September 20th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you spent hours begging God for something you really want?  For some reason you believe life cannot continue without this specific thing.  You wake up thinking about it.  You go to bed thinking about it.  You find yourself daydreaming about it throughout the day.  Have you become overwhelmed by materialism?  Do you feel your success is based upon the car you drive, the house you reside in, or the designer clothes you buy?  Do you think people should bow to you because your ego is outrageous?  Be careful!  Do not allow YOUR ego to make YOU feel like God needs YOU.  While God gladly uses us, He can always find someone else to use for His glory.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, Keep Your Ego In Check!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:18 – Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.  Never allow people to place you on a pedestal. The acknowledgment you receive from man comes as a result of God’s favor on your life.  You are a vessel being used, you are not the source.  Check to make sure you are not floating in the clouds.  Be not deceived!  Man will applaud and approve you today, and boo and tear you down tomorrow.  When the Lord opens doors for you, always remember it was Him who made it possible.  When opportunities arise in your life, always remember it was Him who made it possible.  No one else can do for you, what the Lord does for you.  No one else can provide for you the way God does.

Beloved, always remember the Bible declares in 1 Peter 5:6 – Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:

Present Your Body!

Monday, September 18th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever felt like God was requiring more from you?  Within, you knew God wanted something else from you.  While you were serving Him with a pleasant spirit, you felt the Lord pulling at your heart for more of you.  You could sense His desire for you to fully commit yourself to Him.  Have you ever heard the Lord tell you to give your all to Him?  For years you gave little or half of yourself to the Lord, BUT you know God is saying more.  No longer could you attempt to manipulate the Lord.  No longer could you try to hide yourself and your gifts from the world.  No longer could you ask God to bless you with more but you remain unfaithful with the little He gave you to start with (Matthew 25:21).  Is God asking you to commit your entire being unto Him?  Is the Lord asking you to totally trust Him with your life?  Is God telling you to let go and allow Him to have it?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In our walk with the Lord there will always come a time when we must decide if we will fully live for the Lord or not.  We cannot treat God like He is some stranger on the street.  We must honor and adore Him.  We must surrender and submit unto Him.  My friend, Present Your Body!  The Bible declares in Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  You must give yourself to be a sacrifice for the Lord.  You must allow yourself to be used for the glory of God.  You must be willing to do what the Lord says do, go where the Lord sends you, and say what the Lord tells you.  You must be available for the Lord’s service.

My brother, my sister, Present Your Body!  Present all that you are to the Lord.  Do not hold back anything from Him.  Until you fully submit and commit to the Lord, He cannot use you like wants to.  Until you trust Him with everything, He will not release all that He has for you.  How can God trust you with more, if you do not trust Him at all?  How can God bless you with overflow, if you are not faithful with what you have now?  How can God use you fully, if you are ashamed to give His name total praise?  The Bible declares in Jude 1:24-25 – Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.  Beloved, now is the time for you to Present Your Body! Prayer for Today: Father, allow me to present my body to You as a present.  I trust You with all of me.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!
