Early Morning Worship!

Tuesday, October 17th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself walking the floor late at night or during the early part of the morning?  For some reason you were not asleep.  Maybe there was something or someone heavy on your mind.  You found yourself pacing the floor in intercession.  Have you ever found yourself up at night because of worry and anxiety?  Once again you are concerned about having enough money to pay each bill.  You know, from before, that God is able to provide for you.  The last time this happened the Lord faithfully intervened but for some reason you do not believe He can or will do it again.  As much as God proves Himself you continuously battle fear and a lack of trust.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Today I want to share with you something I found that really works.  My friend, it is Early Morning Worship!  It is the worship that occurs when everything and everyone in your home is sound asleep.  It is the worship that occurs when it appears that nature has taken a break from noise.  It is a time when no phone is ringing, no computer is running, no children are begging, no job is demanding, no spouse is complaining, no bill collectors are calling, and no food is spoiling.  It is the time when you feel the presence of God the most.  There’s something about the early morning that keeps you wanting more each day.  The Bible declares in Psalms 63:1 – O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;  You have come to notice how well your day unfolds when you have spent the one-on-one time with the Lord.

My brother, my sister, the same way you long for God in the early morning, God also longs to be with you.  Do you understand how much God loves you?  His love goes far beyond mere words.  He is an action God.  He desires to prove Himself to us.  Just as a husband longs to spend quality time with His wife, so does the Lord long to spend uninterrupted time with you and me.  Beloved, it is Early Morning Worship!  It is the time when you are able to lay prostrate in the presence of God and no ushers are trying to pick you up.  It is the time when you can cry out to the Lord and you do not have hundreds of eyes staring at you.  The Bible declares in Psalms 90:14 – O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.  As you go forth today, remember this: Praise comes from your mouth but worship comes from your heart.  Starting this day, stop sleeping in late but get up early and seek the Lord.

No one knows …

Monday, October 16th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, this devotional will be short but very important.

  • No one really knows how bad things are in your life.
  • No one knows how difficult times can be for you.
  • No one knows the nights you cry yourself to sleep, only to wake up still crying.
  • No one knows how you rob Peter to pay Paul (struggle from paycheck to paycheck.)
  • No one knows the negative reports you consistently receive from the doctor’s office.
  • No one knows the burdens you bear each and every day.
  • No one knows the mental bondage you fight repeatedly.
  • No one knows how much you worry about having enough to take care of your family.
  • No one knows … BUT THE LORD!

Beloved, no matter how bad you feel or things appear, God has not forgotten you (Hebrews 13:5).  As you go forth today, walk in the assurance that everything you need God has it.  I DECLARE PEACE INTO YOUR SPIRIT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

Do Not Lose Heart!

Friday, October 13th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  As your brother in the Lord Jesus Christ, I want to take this time to encourage you.  My brother, my sister, God is not through with you yet.  Do Not Lose Heart!  No matter how awful things feel or appear, do not lose sight on the promises God has made to you.

  • There is much more work for your hands to do (Philippians 1:6).
  • There are many more blessings God has in store for you (Deuteronomy 28:2).
  • There are things you have not seen or heard but God plans to do just for you (1 Corinthians 2:9).
  • There are many opportunities God has orchestrated just for you (Genesis 18:14).

You cannot give up now.  You must not bow out.  You need to remain in the race.  You shall overcome.  Over this weekend, make time for yourself.  Take time to sit and hear what the Lord wants to say to you.  Do not lose heart because you are seeing things through natural eyes.  Beloved, your problem has a problem and His name is Jesus (Philippians 2:10-11).

It Starts At The Door!

Thursday, October 12th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, do you realize God is knocking at the door of your heart?  Do you realize He desires to come in and commune with you?  Do you realize there is more in store for you than what you are currently doing?  Do you realize God has a specific purpose for your life?  The Bible declares in Revelation 3:20 – Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.  I do not know what you are faced with today.  I do not know the dilemma you are currently dealing with.  I do not know how awful things are at this point.  However, I do know God is a God of opportunities.  Beloved, It Starts At The Door! The question begs to be asked, will you open it?

When You’re Left Alone ..

Wednesday, October 11th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever tried your best to be there for your family and friends, even though it meant you had to go without?  Every time they called you were there to rescue.  No matter what time, what day, or what dilemma you did what you could to be right by there side.  Isn’t it amazing how sometimes the same people never do the same thing(s) for you in return?  They know you need assistance, but there’s always a lame excuse as to why they cannot help you out.  When they were in need, you were there.  But now that you are in need, they find reasons not to be there for you.  Do you realize being in a storm is the worse place to find out who your real friends are, but it is usually when you find this out.  While things are great, everyone is smiling.  When chaos strikes, everyone exits the back door.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Please do not think you are the only person who has ever faced neglect and loneliness.  Even our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ experienced this.  When he came into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the people cheered, “Hosanna, Hosanna” but later that same week the people yelled, “Crucify Him!”  There are many people who change their views just like the weather changes.  Beware of these people.  My friend, When You’re Left Alone … understand God is setting you up for something spectacular.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 13:5 – Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  There are certain places God will take you that your current surroundings will not be able to go.  There certain people who are around you right now that you know God is pulling you away from.

My brother, my sister, let nothing and no one hinder you from having and enjoying all God has for you.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:37-39 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Beloved, When You’re Left Alone … do not get mad at God but thank Him for what He is preparing you for.  Please do not misunderstand what is being said.  There are certain people who mean you well.  However, there are also certain people who are determined to destroy you.  During your “left alone” time, God is trying to reveal this to you.  Pay attention!

As You Wait …

Tuesday, October 10th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Beloved,

  • As you wait in expectation for God to blow your mind;
  • As you wait for God to give you direction regarding your next move;
  • As you wait for God to prove your enemies wrong;
  • As you wait for God to send the overflow;
  • As you wait for God to release His anointing;
  • As you wait for God to give you the “go ahead” signal;
  • As you wait for God to heal you from what the doctors said would never be cured;
  • As you wait for God to raise you up from your current depressed state;
  • As you wait for the answer to your prayer;
  • As you stand still and see the salvation of the Lord;

Learn how to say, “Thank You In Advance!”

(Do not wait until the blessing comes, thank God now!)

You Can Break The Cycle!

Monday, October 9th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently stuck in a rut?  You find yourself doing the same thing, the same way, expecting the same results.  You never take any chances.  Each day you wake up you live as though the entire world is out to cheat and manipulate you.  No matter what people or God say, you still do not trust.  Are you currently stuck in the same routine each and every day?  You wake up at the same time.  Take the same route to work and to church.  You eat the same meals on the same days at the same time.  Are you currently caught between two worlds … YOUR world and everyone else’s world?  You do not feel a need to change.  In your eyes, there is no problem with you.  Everyone else needs to change.  It’s your world (so you think)!  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  What makes you think the world is yours?  What makes you think the sun rises only when you wake up?  Truthfully, before you knew you, God was already existing.  God does not need you (us), you (we) need God.  Do you realize the problem you are facing?  My friend, You Can Break The Cycle!  [cycle = a periodically repeated sequence of events.]  You can break the stronghold that prevents you from living the abundant life God promised in John 10:10.  You can operate with peace of mind.  The Bible declares in John 8:36 – If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.  It is time for you and I to break the cycle(s) in our lives.  It is time for us to destroy the generational curses that started with our great-grandparents.  It is time for us to stop allowing our parent’s sins to consume our everyday activities.

My brother, my sister, today I declare liberty in the name of Jesus.  [liberty = the right to act in a manner of one’s own choosing; The state of not being in confinement or servitude; Freedom.]  Are you tired of living the same way each and every day?  Are you tired of being so predictable?  Because of your fears of failure you refuse to step out of the box.  Child of God, in the words of Tye Tribbett, “You can change, if you want!”  You Can Break The Cycle!  You can create your own legacy.  You do not have to fight the warfare left by your past generations.  Beloved, it is time to live and not die.  You are purposed by God.  The spell has been broken off of your life.  You are free to move.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 3:17 – Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  Do not allow the blessings of God to be held up because you find yourself stuck in a cycle.  Be free in the name of Jesus.

Do You Still Believe?

Friday, October 6th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Please allow me to ask you a few questions.

  • Do You Still Believe God can fix what is broke?
  • Do You Still Believe God can heal what the doctor’s said could not be cured?
  • Do You Still Believe God has a purpose for your life?
  • Do You Still Believe your latter will be better than your past?
  • Do You Still Believe God can open doors that no man can shut?
  • Do You Still Believe the favor of God rest upon your life?
  • Do You Still Believe the blood of Jesus has defeated the devil?
  • Do You Still Believe your child(ren) can overcome the pressures of this world?
  • Do You Still Believe your marriage can get better?
  • Do You Still Believe God can bless you with overflow?
  • Do You Still Believe God can make your enemies your footstool?
  • Do You Still Believe there’s nothing too hard for the Lord?
  • Do You Still Believe no weapon formed against you shall prosper?
  • Do You Still Believe greater is He that is within you than he that is in this world?
  • Do You Still Believe God has chosen you for such a time as this?
  • Do You Still Believe God can reverse whatever looks wrong in your life?
  • Do You Still Believe?

Beloved, this morning I was sent to find out if you still believe God is more than enough.  My Prayer for You Today: Father, I pray that my brother/sister will always believe in You no matter how bad (s)he feels or how bad things appear.  I pray that his/her belief in You will never waver.  In the name of Jesus Christ … Amen!

The Promise versus The Problem!

Thursday, October 5th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Many times in life we find ourselves praying and believing God for something that other people think is ridiculous.  Whether you believe it or not, everyone does not think what you are doing is faith.  Some believe you are foolish and making a big mistake.  It is easy for someone who did not hear the promise God made you to question what you are doing.  While many people claim to be spiritual, many of them operate with a carnal mindset.  They sound deep when they speak in church but at the sight of one storm their quick to search for their horoscope.  Do not be deceived by the conversations of people.  If God told you to do something, then that is what you should be doing.  Stop trying to make people understand why you are doing it.  They never will.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  How many times have you found yourself fighting off people who doubted in the beginning but now they have returned to leach from you?  How many times do you hear of people talking bad about you but eventually come to you in need of prayer?  Do you not realize God will take care of you?  The time you spend trying to correct lies and rumors is time you spent away from the assignment God called you to fulfill.  Do you understand some people will never like or accept you?  This is what I call, The Promise versus The Problem!  My friend, the promise is what God births within you but the problem is what the devil sends against you.  The Bible declares in John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

My brother, my sister, if you ever lose sight on the promise, you will always fall prey to the problems.  It is true, problems will always be there (Job 14:1).  However, if you remain focused on the promise you will understand God will take care of your problems.  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:25 – Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?   Beloved, all that you will ever need is found in the presence of God.  Each day of your life you will always have The Promise versus The Problem!  The promise keeps you trusting in the Lord but the problem tries to tear you down.  Understand, the devil is a defeated foe through the blood of Jesus.  Stop allowing God’s promise for your life to be smothered by the enemy’s attacks.

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and briefly minister to you.  My brother, my sister, …

  • What are you dealing with this morning?
  • What dilemma do you find yourself involved in?
  • What pain are you experiencing?
  • Who broke your heart?
  • Who left you at your lowest point in life?
  • Who are you mad at?
  • Who keeps you from living a life of freedom and prosperity?
  • Why are you running in circles?
  • What report has the doctor given you?
  • When will you stop trying to do things your way?
  • When will you trust in the Lord?

Beloved, I come to tell you …

God Is All You Need … Trust Me!
