The Promise versus The Problem!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Many times in life we find ourselves praying and believing God for something that other people think is ridiculous.  Whether you believe it or not, everyone does not think what you are doing is faith.  Some believe you are foolish and making a big mistake.  It is easy for someone who did not hear the promise God made you to question what you are doing.  While many people claim to be spiritual, many of them operate with a carnal mindset.  They sound deep when they speak in church but at the sight of one storm their quick to search for their horoscope.  Do not be deceived by the conversations of people.  If God told you to do something, then that is what you should be doing.  Stop trying to make people understand why you are doing it.  They never will.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  How many times have you found yourself fighting off people who doubted in the beginning but now they have returned to leach from you?  How many times do you hear of people talking bad about you but eventually come to you in need of prayer?  Do you not realize God will take care of you?  The time you spend trying to correct lies and rumors is time you spent away from the assignment God called you to fulfill.  Do you understand some people will never like or accept you?  This is what I call, The Promise versus The Problem!  My friend, the promise is what God births within you but the problem is what the devil sends against you.  The Bible declares in John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

My brother, my sister, if you ever lose sight on the promise, you will always fall prey to the problems.  It is true, problems will always be there (Job 14:1).  However, if you remain focused on the promise you will understand God will take care of your problems.  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:25 – Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?   Beloved, all that you will ever need is found in the presence of God.  Each day of your life you will always have The Promise versus The Problem!  The promise keeps you trusting in the Lord but the problem tries to tear you down.  Understand, the devil is a defeated foe through the blood of Jesus.  Stop allowing God’s promise for your life to be smothered by the enemy’s attacks.
