Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!

Tuesday, May 16th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When was the last time you counted your blessings?  When was the last time you sat and thought about the faithfulness of God in your life?  When was the last time you thanked God for His present help in times of trouble?  When was the last time you looked back over your life and realized God kept you through dangers seen and unseen?  Many times in our lives we become preoccupied with our daily agendas until we no longer have time (or make time) to spend with the Lord.  When things in our lives were chaotic and shattered into pieces, we remained in the face of God.  Every minute of every day we found ourselves going to God in prayer.  Now that everything is going well our consistency has diminished.  We pray, but not as often.  We thank God, but only when something miraculous occurs in our lives.  The fire that once burned eternally, now flickers periodically.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  While everything appears wonderful in your life, did you accomplish this task by yourself?  While you are abundantly blessed, did you achieve this goal by yourself?  My friend, Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!  The Bible declares in Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Just because family members, friends, and co-workers applaud you each day, should not cause you to forget how you got where you are now.  If the truth were told, you have made many mistakes that only God could free you from.  You have gone places you should not, been with people you should not, and did things you should not.  In spite of it, the Lord rescued you from the snare of the enemy.  Do not think you are above rebuke.  If it had not been for the Lord on your side, you would have been swallowed up (Psalms 124:1-3).  Be careful to never allow the cheers of man to lead you away from the presence of God.  The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:18 – Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

My brother, my sister, Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!  It was not your nice salary, your wonderful spouse, your beautiful children, your awesome church, your big house, or your never-ending wardrobe.  It was the Lord who brought you to this point in your life.  It was the Lord who put you in the position to receive the blessings you currently enjoy.  It was the Lord who poured His favor upon your life.  It was the Lord who looked beyond your faults and saw each of your needs.  The Bible declares in Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.   Beloved, everything you have is because of God.  Please do not deceive yourself.  Please do not think you deserved all of the great things God has given you.  To the contrary.  We are recipients of God’s blessings only because Jesus gave His life in our place.  Today, refocus yourself on the truth.  The truth is everything that happened to you that was good … God did it.  Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far! Prayer for Today: Father, help me to always be mindful of Your provision and protection.  What I have is because of You.  What I enjoy is because of You.  Thank You for blessing me to bless others.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Are Blessed Like That!

Monday, May 15th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself apologizing to your family members and peers because God has abundantly blessed you?  Instead of others celebrating with you, they spent most of their time griping and moaning about God’s blessings in your life.  Have you ever found yourself trying to hide the blessings God has bestowed in your life?  You attempt to cover the new things God has granted unto you.  Because of fear of rejection you start hiding all of the many wonderful things God has given you.  Are you trying to appease everyone in your life?  Are you trying to make everyone like you and accept you?  Are you compromising the blessings of God in your life because family members and peers cannot handle how God is using you?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Do you realize how much God adores you?  He did not ask the committee before He blessed you.  He did not seek a 2/3 vote of approval before He chose you.  God is the majority by Himself.  He does not require man’s nod of acceptance.  You have what you have because God chose to do it for you.  Stop apologizing to others because they cannot handle what God is doing in and for you.  You Are Blessed Like That!  The Bible declares in John 15:16 – Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.  You are exceedingly blessed because God hand-selected you for such a time as this.  It was no mistake.  God did not accidentally choose you.  Your past short-comings were not hidden from the Lord when He chose you.  You are blessed because God saw fit to bless you.

My brother, my sister, why do you spend your time trying to explain God’s mighty acts in your life?  Why do you concern yourself with the opinions of others when it comes down to the work God is doing through you?  You Are Blessed Like That!  The Bible declares in Genesis 12:3 – And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.  Beloved, you are a chosen vessel of God.  He placed something awesome within you.  It matters not what others say or think about you.  For every person who rejects you, there will be many who will receive you.  You are blessed by the hands of God.  Remember these important words: God has blessed you so you can bless others.  This is why God has blessed you.  He blessed you because He knew you would turn and bless others.  A selfish person will never fully receive from the Lord.  What you have is not just for you to keep to yourself.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 9:6 – But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

There Is Work For You To Do!

Friday, May 12th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Where are you at this point in your life?  Are you entering a storm, in the middle of a storm, or exiting a storm?  Are you seeking deliverance or have you been delivered?  Are you a person who easily worries or quickly runs to God for guidance?  Are you experiencing financial difficulties or reaping a bountiful harvest?  Many times in our lives it is important for us (you) to always know where we are in life.  It is important for us (you) to know what areas of our lives still require supernatural intervention and what areas God has charged us to work on.  While God is able to fix every problem in our lives, He will also require each of us (you) to do our part.  As it has been said before, “God is Alpha and Omega but you must work the middle.  He is the first and the last, but you must work the middle.”  Today, what area of your life has God told you to work on?  Are you doing what you have been told?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, in this life we will have trials and tribulations.  We will experience betrayal and deception.  We will find ourselves in positions of discomfort and disbelief.  In spite of it all, There Is Work For You To Do!  While God is aware of all that occurs around you, He still has charged you to get to work.  The excuses we give to man will not work with God.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 2:10 – For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  As the workmanship of God, He knows everything He has placed within us.  No sob stories will work on God.  No sympathetic lines will cause God to change the assignment He has given you.  If the truth were told, everything you attempt to use to prevent working, God can and will use to strengthen you for the work.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:27 – But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

My brother, my sister, There Is Work For You To Do!  It is no accident that God has you on that job, at that church, living in that neighborhood, or related to that family.  He has impregnated you with the abilities needed.  No longer should you worry yourself about God’s abilities.  He will take care of the beginning and the end, but it is your responsibility to work the middle.  The Bible declares in Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Beloved, whatever God has spoken … do it.  Whatever God has told you to work on … do it.  Whatever God has anointed you for … do it.  There Is Work For You To Do!  There are lives you will touch because God has orchestrated the events.  Your current dilemma is not to make you bitter but better.  God specializes in things that are impossible.  Walk in the assignment God has for your life and watch what He does through you.  Prayer for Today: Father, I realize there is work for me to do.  You have charged me with a great assignment.  Strengthen me to obey and fulfill the assignment.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Can Weather The Storm!

Thursday, May 11th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  There comes a time in each of our lives when our comfort zones are challenged.  A time when everything you trusted begins to crumble all around you.  A time when everyone you counted could not be counted on.  There comes a time when the knowledge you learned in school and the networking you have done in the work field cannot rescue you from the attacks of the enemy.  A time when the only thing that can protect you is the intervention and provision of God.  A time when you realize that a bachelors, Master’s, or PhD does not matter to your adversary.  Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a storm and you could not understand how it happened? As time went on you began to see and notice your surroundings becoming darker and foggier.  Your surroundings went from sunny days and joyous events, to dark days and confused events.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Do you realize the enemy does not like you?  he does not care about you or your family.  he desires to sift you out like wheat.  Just when you thought everything was getting better in your life it is then that he sends an attack against you.  When you were over-joyed by a recent announcement or potential fulfillment of a promise, it is then that he sends an attack against you. My friend, in spite of all the enemy sends your way … You Can Weather The Storm!  You can overcome any and every thing he sends your way.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:37 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.  God has impregnated your spirit with the power and anointing to overcome any storm in your life.  God has placed everything you need in the palm of your hand.  Just as God spoke to Moses, today He is speaking to you.  What do you have in your hand (Exodus 4:2)?

My brother, my sister, You Can Weather The Storm!  God would not allow the storm to continue if He knew you were not equipped to weather it.  What is a storm?  storm is a disturbance of the atmosphere marked by wind and usually by rain, snow, hail, sleet, or thunder and lightning; a serious disturbance of any element of nature; a disturbed or agitated state; a sudden or violent commotion.  Today, what disturbance are you experiencing in your life?  What sudden commotion has occurred against you today?  The Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.  You Can Weather The Storm!  Child of God, before you throw in the towel to surrender, understand God has not forsaken you (Hebrews 13:5).  In your current state God is still able to keep you from falling (Jude 1:24).  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for equipping me to weather the storms that arise against me.  I Love You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

I Declare Peace In Your Life!

Wednesday, May 10th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently going through trying times in your life?  Maybe an experience that causes you to spend more time worrying and crying, than praying and rejoicing.  A time that attempts to steal your joy and rob you of your sleep.  Are you currently involved in turmoil on your job, in your home, at your church, with your finances, in your marriage, or within your mind?  A situation that keeps you on the edge.  A situation that prevents you from believing everything can and will get better in your life.  Are you stuck between a rock and a hard place?  You find yourself wondering how in the world did I get in this position.  You find yourself questioning the outcome.  A stuck position that causes a strong man to struggle and a proud man to humble himself.  Can you relate to any of these questions?

This morning I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, I Declare Peace In Your Life!  I declare, under the unction of the Holy Spirit of God, that you shall not die but live.  Things may appear deadly and you may feel like quitting, but I speak life into your dead situation.  The Bible declares in Job 22:28 – Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.  No matter how awful things appear in your life you are destined for greatness.  No matter how overwhelmed you feel during this hour, the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).  No matter how chaotic everything appears at this time, I Declare Peace In Your Life!   The Bible declares in Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

My brother, my sister, I do not know what you are going through in your life.  I do not know what attacks you fight off each day.  Honestly, I do not need to know.  In spite of what you face each day, I can still declare peace in your life.  I can declare peace because the Bible declares that we should speak those things that are not as if they were.  Beloved, I Declare Peace In Your Life!   I declare that the work God has assigned for your hands shall surpass all hell and likeness of it.  I declare that you will rise above any obstacles in your life and overshadow all traps set against you.  The Bible declares in John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.   Today, by the power invested in me through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, I Declare Peace In Your Life! Prayer for Today: Father, I shall walk in the peace You promised to me.  Today, I shall allow Your peace to overtake me.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

A Simple Message From Above!

Tuesday, May 9th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I have been given A Simple Message From Above!  Many of us have experienced trying times over the last five months.  Death in the family, bad doctor reports, unemployment, times of loneliness, marital turmoil, ministerial difficulties, financial woes, emotional roller-coasters, betrayal of friends, rumors, lies, and vicious assaults from the enemy.  There have been times when quitting appeared easier than holding on.  My friend, this morning God has commissioned me to tell you one important thing …

HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU!

He is aware of your past hurts, your current dilemmas, and your future challenges.  He is aware of your weary days and tearful nights.  He is aware of your night seasons when you walk the floors in worry and anxiety.  He is aware of the unbelief you often fight off.  He is aware of your cry and your pleas.  He knows what you need, when you need it.  Beloved, …

HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU!

Today, I ask that you share this Simple Message From Above with as many people as you know.  We all need to know God has not forgotten about us. Whatever you stand in need of today, God has it.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for reminding me that You have not forgotten about me.  I love You with my whole heart.  In Jesus’ name … Amen

Watch and Pray!

Monday, May 8th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been somewhere or around certain people and you noticed improper things taking place?  You wondered if someone would ever say anything about the situation.  Your wondered if others were seeing what you saw.  It never crossed your mind that you could make a difference or a change.  Have you ever found yourself in the same situation over and over again?  Just when you escape or vacated one matter, the very next matter brought the same challenges and attacks.  There were people speaking ill will against you once again.  As soon as you recovered from the last assault the enemy sent another rampage against you. During this year you vowed to stop doing what you were doing and start living in a way that was pleasing to God.  It is now the month of May, has your vow been kept?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, so many things take place day in and day out.  Your eyes see so many different things that sometimes no one else may see or notice.  There are times when you wonder if there’s anything you can do to make things better.  God has sent me here to tell you there is something you can do … Watch and Pray!  The Bible declares in Matthew 26:41 – Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  Understand, you are where you are for a purpose.  God has placed you on that job, in that home, in that class, at that church, or within that organization for a specific reason.  Everyone cannot handle what God has equipped you to handle.  It makes no sense for you to call others and vent to them.  They cannot help you.  God has positioned each of us in certain places for certain times to perform certain tasks.

My brother, my sister, it is times for you to Watch and Pray!  The Bible declares in Mark 13:33 – Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.  Beloved, allow me to add this significant point in at this time.  Just because everything appears calm and under control does not mean you should stop watching and praying.  You need to always be on the wall looking ahead to spot any uproar(s) from the enemy.  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing.  Child of God, where you are today, what tragedy has occurred?  What situation has you surrounded?  Are you praying for God’s will to be revealed or are you allowing the enemy to overtake everything and everyone?  Watch and Pray!  The Bible declares in James 5:16 – Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  On this day, do not allow the enemy to catch you off your post.  Prayer for Today: Father, I am aware that You have me here for a specific reason.  Allow me to always remain watchful and prayerful.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Owe God Your All!

Friday, May 5th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever made God a promise that you still have not upheld?  You promised if He got you out of that situation you would never return again.  You promised to do better and treat others better.  You promised to do His will and do it His way.  Have you vowed to share the love of God with everyone, everyday, everywhere?  Have you kept your promise to the Lord?  So often in our lives we make promises because we find ourselves in need of an immediate resolution.  In the midst of making the promises, your mouth is speaking but your heart is not sincere.  The promise sounded great and you even appeared convincing.  However, what man does not discern God can.  Understand, we are not perfect people.  We make mistakes.  We come short everyday.  We know this and God knows this.  In spite of it all, your imperfection should never become your crutch to knowingly commit sin.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister.  My friend, You Owe God Your All!  You owe God more than you currently give Him.  You owe God more than you give anyone else.  While it seems easy to applaud man for what they promise to do for us, we should extol God for what He has done and also promised to do.  If the truth were told, God’s promises are the only ones we can be assure of each day.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.  Child of God, if we know God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all we ask or think, what more will it take for you to open your heart and offer God your best (Ephesians 3:20).  You Owe God Your All!  The blessings you currently enjoy are not deserved by you.  The blessings you enjoy are direct results of God’s love for you.  The Bible declares in Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

My brother, my sister, no career, no loved one, no materialistic possession, no educational degree should receive more than you give God.  The Bible tells us that God is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5).  I want you to think back over your life.  Think of the trials and tribulations you experienced down through the years.  Think of the times money was low but bills remained paid.  Think of the unemployment season(s) when God kept food in the house and peace in your mind.  Think of the traps and snares set against you that did not prosper.  You Owe God Your All!  Beloved, I assure you God has done more for you than anyone, anywhere.  If it had not been for the Lord, who was on your side, you would have been swallowed up (Psalms 124:1-3).  What person, place, or thing have you exalted higher than God?  What person, place or thing do you trust when times are hard?  Who are you giving your all too?  It should always be God … always!  Prayer for Today: Father, today I give You my all.  I give You everything that I should have given before.  Thank You for being there when everything seemed chaotic and everyone was disappearing.  I bless You, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Who Do You Think You Are?

Thursday, May 4th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been somewhere and it seemed as though everyone was staring at you or through you?  For some reason you had the feeling everyone knew something about you that made you uncomfortable.  You began to ponder what mistakes you had made that day.  You found yourself overcome with embarrassment.  Why? You have no idea.  As soon as everyone began to look at you, the first thought that came in your mind was negative.  “What did I do wrong?”  “What have they heard about me?”  “Oh my, do they know my secret?”  Have you ever thought that maybe they see what God has birthed in you?  When you operate under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, people see it and they respect it.  Just because everyone began to stare does not mean their thoughts are negative toward you.  However, if their thoughts were negative, you still have an assignment to fulfill for the Lord.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, there will come times in your life when everything and everyone will challenge you.  There will come times in your life when the comfortable no longer appears that way.  There will come times when your educational background and the contacts you have will not be enough.  There will come that time when people will ask, Who Do You Think You Are?  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 3:15 – But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:   This question comes to all who are called of God.  This question is asked usually by those who cannot handle how God is blessing you.  So often in each of our lives we have family members and friends who refuse to see the new you.  They’re stuck on how you were before you committed your life to Christ.  This new, saved, committed, and redeemed YOU is not accepted by everyone.  In spite of it all, you must be able to stand in the face of opposition and declare to everyone not only who you are but whose you are.

My brother, my sister, the enemy will send whomever and whatever he can to detour you from your destiny.  he will allow rumors and lies to be spread against you and your family.  he will have people question you and the anointing on your life.  Some will ask, Who Do You Think You Are?  The Bible declares in Acts 19:15 – And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye.  They ask this question because they cannot accept how God is speaking through you.  Some will become stuck on your age, your gender, your race, your testimony, your past, or your anointing.  Everyone will not heed the power of God in your life.  You must be able to understand this and remain focused.  People’s opinions should not destroy the assignment God has called you to fulfill.  Attacks against you should not hinder you from obeying the voice of God for your life.  You must be persuaded that nothing shall be able to separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).  So, the next time they ask Who Do You Think You Are?  Do not wonder or walk away.  In stead, stand up and declare I am a child of the Most High God.  Called as an Ambassador for Christ.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for teaching me who I am and whose I am.  I walk in covenant with You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Can Really Do It!

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself second guessing your abilities to complete a task or assignment?  You know God has equipped you with the necessary resources needed, but for some reason you find yourself questioning whether it can be done or not.  You start comparing your outcome to that of your neighbor.  Have you ever asked God to bless you to be able to bless others?  Within your spirit the desire to impact other people’s lives burns heavily.  To see the smile on someone else’s face brings unspeakable joy to you.  Your motives for doing this are pure.  Your willingness to aid is genuine.  Allow me to ask you a question.  If this is true, why do you allow other people to discourage what you are doing for the Lord?  Why do you allow a faithless person to criticize your faith?  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, God chose you for the assignment.  He made no mistake.  He did not ask for someone else’s opinion before doing it.  He does not need a 3/4 vote to approve it.  You are the candidate for the job.  You are the one God desires to use to impact your city, your state, and our country (even our world.)  Guess what?  You Can Really Do It!  The Bible declares in Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  God has strengthened you for the assignment.  He has poured into you everything needed for the job to be completed.  Do you deserve it? No!  Does God know this? Yes!  In spite of it all, He still selected you.  God is aware of your mistakes, your shortcomings, your instability, and your fearful times.  He still chose you.  The Bible declares in John 15:16 – Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.  You Can Really Do It!

My brother, my sister, what assignment has God birth within you?  What mission does God want you to complete?  What purpose has God created you to walk in?  You Can Really Do It!  You can reverse the generational curse that has haunted your family for years.  You can impact your environment for the glory of God.  You can bless the Lord at all times (Psalms 34:1).  The Bible declares in Romans 8:29-31 – For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  Child of God, is there anything or anyone in your life that prevents you from giving God your all?  Are you allowing fear to hinder your obedience?  Are you aware that there is nothing too hard for God?  You Can Really Do It! Prayer for Today: Father, You have chosen me for such a time as this.  I stand prepared to obey Your commands and Your instructions.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!
