It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, God truly loves you.  I know times may get hard and the dream appears impossible at times, but the Lord loves you.  I know people come and go, but the Lord loves you.  I know no one else thinks it can be done but you, but the Lord loves you.  I know people are waiting on you to fall on your face, but the Lord loves you.  I know you are recovering from past hurts and pains, but the Lord loves you.  I know you wish today’s storm would hurry past, but the Lord loves you.  I know you pray and beg for more money, but the Lord loves you.  I know you are in the middle of a dilemma, but the Lord loves you.  You may be wondering why I continue to say, ” … but the Lord loves you!”  Many times we forget how much the Lord loves us.  It is through His love that we are able to make it each day.  It is through His love that Christ endured the Cross of Calvary (Matthew 26:39-46, Romans 5:8).  It is through His love that each of our needs are supplied (Philippians 4:19).

My brother, my sister, I know not what you are faced with today, but I do know it is not greater than the Lord.  I am 100% sure God is greater than any problem you will ever face.  As I was talking with the Lord this morning, I asked Him what I should say to His people.  In response to my question, the Lord said one word.  Beloved, the Lord wants us to …

BELIEVE!

Whatever you stand in need of, believe in the Lord today.  It can and it will come to pass.

Don’t Worry Things Are Better Than You Think!

Tuesday, September 12th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever wondered how God was going to do it?  Have you ever wondered when it would be done?  Have you ever wondered when things would get better in your life?  Have you ever wondered when it would be fixed?  Have you ever wondered how long you would have to endure?  There are times in our lives when troubles, heartaches, and pains cause us to walk with our head hung low.  We know God can and He will, but there are times when the trials and challenges of life press you against the wall.  Your shoulders feel pressed down with everyone’s burdens and loads.  You wonder where refuge will come from.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, I know how it feels to be overwhelmed with the pressures of life.  There seems to be more questions than answers.  More enemies than friends.  More drama than peace.  More warfare than restitution.  You try your best to smile but within you want to break down and cry.  You worry yourself to sleep, even though you know worrying is a sin.  You really wish you could stay in the bed all day and all night.  Sound familiar?  If yes, you are the person God sent me to today.  My friend, Don’t Worry Things Are Better Than You Think!  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:25 – Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  The Lord has everything under control.  No matter how awful things appear in your life, the Lord has never failed you yet.

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with this morning?  Is it personal?  Is it business related?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with today?  I want to encourage you in the Lord.  God has not forgotten you.  He has not forgotten what you face each day.  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:30 – Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?  Beloved, Don’t Worry Things Are Better Than You Think!  As you go forth today, ask God to allow you to see things the way He sees them.  Your “hell” storm is not a threat to the Master.  Walk in the provision and protection of God today.  You are not defeated but victorious.  Walk upright and bold.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me see things the way You see them.  Help me to never think my problem is great than You.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Walk In The Victory … It’s Yours!

Friday, September 8th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  My brother, my sister, are you living a defeated life?  Are you operating with a defeated mindset?  Are you behaving with a defeated demeanor?  Have you given up on the one thing God said was yours?  Have you allowed your current situations to cause frustration and anger to consume your beliefs?  Have you surrendered to the enemy when God told you he was a defeated foe?  Are you walking and working with a defeated disposition?  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I have been charged to tell you one thing.  Beloved,

Walk In The Victory … It’s Yours!

It makes no sense if we sing about victory but live a defeated life.  You are the victor not the victim.  ACT LIKE IT … IN JESUS NAME!

Who Are You Listening To?

Thursday, September 7th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever experienced a trying time in your life and everyone wanted to give you advice?  Whether they knew everything or not, they were very eager to offer their opinion.  Whether their opinion differs from the Word of God or not, they still desire to tell you what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and what they would do if it were them.  Be careful about who you have in your ear.  Have you ever had family and friends try to tell you how you should approach a certain situation?  Understand, some of their advice is beneficial but some of it is not.  You must make sure you do not allow people to push you or advise you away from the Lord.  Always know this: People are quick to give you advice when they see you in a dilemma but they are usually slow to receive advice when they experience the same dilemma.  Do you know someone like this?  Are you this person?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Who Are You Listening To?  Who are you taking advice from?  Who do you run to for instructions and guidance?  Do you realize if you depend upon anyone else more than God that person becomes your god.  I am not attempting to discourage you from taking advice from loved ones around you.  That is not the intent of today’s devotional.  The purpose is for you to be aware of the advice given and make sure it is complimenting the Word of God.  When people attempt to advise you, can you hear God in their voice?  The Bible declares in John 10:27 – My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:  There are times when God will send people to offer you sound advice and Godly instructions.  These are the people sent to help you along the way.  But there are also times when satan will send people to speak death, discouragement, confusion and frustration into your ears.  These are the people you avoid at any cost.

My brother, my sister, Who Are You Listening To?  Do you realize God has a special anointing on your life?  Do you realize satan would do anything to keep you from walking in the fullness of God?  Do you realize there are people who are determined to destroy you?  Be not deceived by people’s smiles and “Christian” hugs.  The enemy knows how to disguise himself to look saved, act saved, sound saved, and walk saved.  The Bible declares in Matthew 7:15 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  Beloved, ask God to increase your spiritual discernment.  You are on an assignment for the Lord.  Everyone cannot handle how God is using you.  BEWARE CHILD OF GOD … BEWARE.  Prayer for Today: Father, please increase my discernment that I may be able to see through people and their motives.  Lord, remove from me those who mean me no good.  In the name of Jesus … Amen

Give It Back To Him!

Wednesday, September 6th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, have you taken back what you asked God to take from you?  Have you taken back the same situation or circumstance you laid on the altar?  Have you gone against the promise you made to God?  If you remember, you said, “God if you get me out of this, I promise to never do it again!”  Do you remember saying this?  Are you trying to fix the same situation God asked you to trust Him with?  Are you trying to help God be God?  Have you really surrendered your all to the Lord?  Have you really let go of that person, that place and that thing?  Are you trying to secretly work on the matter as if God cannot nor does not see you?

In life, we know the things we must let go of.  We know God is instructing us to release it to Him.  We know we must lay it at the altar and never return to pick it up again.  Beloved, now that you know, it is time to start doing it.  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 5:7 – Casting all your care upon Him; for he careth for you.  My friend, this morning, Give It Back To Him!  Give that person, place, or thing back to the Lord.  You cannot fix this.  You have tried it your way for far too long.  God is asking for you to release it to Him and trust that He will work it.  In your eyes, things appear real horrible.  You cannot see how things will get better for you and your family.  Right now everything seems hopeless.  This is the reason God is asking you to cast your cares on Him.  The way you see the matter and the way God sees it is totally different.  You see it as over, but God sees it just beginning.  You see it as defeat, but God sees it as victory.  You see it as bondage, but God sees it as liberty.

Today, whatever the situation is or whomever you are trying to change, Give It Back To Him!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8-11 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  My Prayer for You: Father, I pray for the recipient of this devotional.  Whatever (s)he is holding onto that You are asking them to give up, I pray (s)he will obey You and trust in Your word.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

What Will You Do This Time?

Tuesday, September 5th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself faced with making tough decisions?  You knew what you needed to do but the decision would not be favorable for everyone.  It is not that you do not love the person but you know the decision is necessary.  You know God is requiring for you to make this decision.  For far too long you have operated according to your own will and agenda.  You have done whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted to do it.  But now God has ‘placed you in front of two wills … Yours or His!  What will you do?  How will you respond?  Have you ever found yourself faced with life’s roller-coaster?  Yesterday things seemed smooth and straight, but this morning things appear rocky and out of control.  You do not know what went wrong.  Everyone was smiling in your face yesterday, but today you are looking at the same faces with different expressions.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Have you ever been at the strategic inflection point?  This is the point when you can no longer continue on the straight and comfortable path.  You must now decide if you will go left or right.  This is the sign you see when driving in your car.  It is the sign you see when the road you are traveling on comes to an end and ahead you see the sign indicating left or right turn (no longer can you travel straight.)  This same sign is in front of you this morning.  My friend, What Will You Do This Time?  The Bible declares in Joshua 24:15 – And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  Today you must make a decision that will literally impact your home.  You must make a decision that will cause the plan of satan to be canceled.  Do you realize he is trying to destroy you, your marriage, your children, and anyone else connected with you?

My brother, my sister, What Will You Do This Time?  How will you respond to this challenge?  How will you respond to this dilemma?  The Bible declares in Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  You have tried things your way for far too long.  You have trusted in your own abilities and skills for far too long.  After all you have done, do you realize it is not working?  You must depend on God.  He wants you to depend on Him.  He deserves your dependence.  Your marriage is not over, it just requires God’s intervention.  Your children shall not fall into the enemy’s trap or plan, you just need to allow God to step in.  Your finances can get better, but you must obey the instructions God lays out for you and your home.  Beloved, What Will You Do This Time?  You tried it your way before, now try God’s way.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have tried my way for far too long.  This morning I ask that Your will be done.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

GOD STILL LOVES YOU!

Monday, September 4th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, you are not the only person who has ever sinned.  You are not the only person that repeated the same mistakes over and over again.  You are not the only person who had a heart to do right but your actions did wrong.  You are not the only person to go off on someone at work, home, church, in the store, bank, or in traffic.  You are not the only one the world said, “would never be anything!”  You are not the only one who has faced great opposition from every angle.  You are not the only one to cry all night long.  You are not the only one to scream for help.  You are not the only one to feel alone in this crowded world.  You are not the only one who feels head over heels in debt.  You are not the only one who worries about their bills each month.  You are not the only one who wonders if life will ever get better.

My friend, through all that you have been through in life, I want to tell you one important thing (that you may have forgotten about.)

GOD STILL LOVES YOU!

You are not the only one God sent His son (Jesus) to die in place of, but you are one of them.  You are not the only one God can and will forgive, but you are one of them.  You are not the only one who has a purpose-filled life, but you are one of them.  You are not the only one God desires to use for His glory, but you are one of them.
