What Will You Do This Time?

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself faced with making tough decisions?  You knew what you needed to do but the decision would not be favorable for everyone.  It is not that you do not love the person but you know the decision is necessary.  You know God is requiring for you to make this decision.  For far too long you have operated according to your own will and agenda.  You have done whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted to do it.  But now God has ‘placed you in front of two wills … Yours or His!  What will you do?  How will you respond?  Have you ever found yourself faced with life’s roller-coaster?  Yesterday things seemed smooth and straight, but this morning things appear rocky and out of control.  You do not know what went wrong.  Everyone was smiling in your face yesterday, but today you are looking at the same faces with different expressions.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Have you ever been at the strategic inflection point?  This is the point when you can no longer continue on the straight and comfortable path.  You must now decide if you will go left or right.  This is the sign you see when driving in your car.  It is the sign you see when the road you are traveling on comes to an end and ahead you see the sign indicating left or right turn (no longer can you travel straight.)  This same sign is in front of you this morning.  My friend, What Will You Do This Time?  The Bible declares in Joshua 24:15 – And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  Today you must make a decision that will literally impact your home.  You must make a decision that will cause the plan of satan to be canceled.  Do you realize he is trying to destroy you, your marriage, your children, and anyone else connected with you?

My brother, my sister, What Will You Do This Time?  How will you respond to this challenge?  How will you respond to this dilemma?  The Bible declares in Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  You have tried things your way for far too long.  You have trusted in your own abilities and skills for far too long.  After all you have done, do you realize it is not working?  You must depend on God.  He wants you to depend on Him.  He deserves your dependence.  Your marriage is not over, it just requires God’s intervention.  Your children shall not fall into the enemy’s trap or plan, you just need to allow God to step in.  Your finances can get better, but you must obey the instructions God lays out for you and your home.  Beloved, What Will You Do This Time?  You tried it your way before, now try God’s way.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have tried my way for far too long.  This morning I ask that Your will be done.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Matthew 6:33

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
