You Must Use Wisdom!

Tuesday, February 14th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever reacted to an offer before clearly thinking it out?  It sounded good when first presented to you.  Maybe it was a promotion on your job.  The new increase seemed wonderful.  You jumped to the opportunity.  Now that you have committed yourself to what you agreed upon, you regret it.  While the money is good, the hours are tiresome.  The extra work is overwhelming.  Have you ever carelessly misused money?  When the paycheck was first deposited, the amount was large.  You thought of many things you could do with or buy with the money.  The new dress, shoes, suit, jersey, you always wanted is heavily weighing on your mind.  You forget about the budget.  When was the last time you prayed before making a decision?  When was the last time you asked for a little more time to think on the offer?  When was the last time you took your desires to the Lord?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In our lives we are often faced with daily decisions.  Everywhere you go, something or someone needs your guidance before they proceed.  Quick reactions can be deadly.  What do you do?  What do you say?  Do you have time to pray? (I believe you always have time to pray).  My friend, You Must Use Wisdom!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 4:7 – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.  As a child of God, having wisdom is essential.  Many decisions you will make can easily be resolved when you respond in a wise manner.  Wisdom allows you to determine the difference between what you need and what you want.  Without it many people confuse the two.  You Must Use Wisdom!  How many decisions have you made without wise counsel?  How many mistakes could have been avoided if you used wisdom?  The Bible declares in Proverbs 1:7 – The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

My brother, my sister, what are you faced with today?  What decision do you have to make today?  Before you respond, as you normally would, ask God to help you make a wise decision.  The Bible declares in Proverbs 2:6 – For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.  You Must Use Wisdom!  Beloved, many people have suffered because of unwise choices or reactions.  Many have lost days, weeks, months, and years of their life as a result of unwise investments or contributions.  In Proverbs 3:13, the Bible declares that happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.  You Must Use Wisdom!  It is imperative.  Wisdom enables you to speak when necessary and hold your tongue when you desire to speak negatively.  It allows you to uphold the Word of God when you desire to give someone a “piece of your mind.”  Wisdom allows you to do your job when co-workers are gossiping and complaining about the job.  It allows you to think before you speak.  You Must Use Wisdom! Prayer for Today: Father, today I pray for wisdom and understanding.  Wisdom to make wise decisions.  Understanding to understand your will and assignment for me on today.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!  Until Monday …

Who Do You Stand For?

Monday, February 13th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever felt tempted to do what you knew was wrong?  Within your spirit you knew the Lord would not be pleased but you contemplated doing it anyway.  You knew the outcome could ruin you and bruise your family.  Have you ever said ‘yes’ to something when ‘no’ was the response you should have given?  Now that you have given your response you regret it everyday.  You heard the Lord clearly tell you not to do it or say it.  Even when you gave the response there was no peace.  Your response came at your request to belong or be accepted.  When was the last time you spoke up against unrighteousness?  I am not talking about judging but correcting.  Turning your back from sin and acting as if it is not happening does not excuse you.  If your brother or sister has fallen into sin, trying to assist them with a cover-up does not eliminate the problem.  God sees all.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Who Do You Stand For? – God?  What do you stand for? – Righteousness?  What are you standing on? – The Word of God?  In life, we must commit ourselves to upholding what is right in the sight of God.  We must learn to operate in accordance to the Word of God.  We must live to obey and glorify the Almighty God.  The Bible declares in Matthew 12:50 – For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.  To be a child of God is an awesome privilege.  What great benefits we enjoy.  However, for every great thing comes great responsibility.  We can no longer act how we want, when we want, where we want.  We must set the examples on our jobs, in our homes, at our churches (yes, even at church), within our communities.  No longer can we proclaim Christ alone.  We must also live for Christ and act like Christ.  Who Do You Stand For?  Are you easily swayed by the world (Luke 9:62)?  Are you quick to return to sinful pleasures?

My brother, my sister, a close friend of mine often says, if you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything.  This is a true statement for each of us.  Who Do You Stand For?  The Bible declares in Joshua 24:15 – And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  Beloved, you must make a decision for your life.  Will you live everyday for the Lord?  Will you work to uphold the commandments of Jesus (Matthew 22:37-40)?  Will you strive to treat your neighbor with love (1 John 4:20)?  Who Do You Stand For? Prayer for Today: Father, today I commit myself to live a life that is pleasing to you.  I commit to stand for what you commanded.  Help me uphold this covenant.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Don’t Give Up … Grow Up!

Friday, February 10th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When was the last time you endured a life changing test?  A test that caused you to do a self- evaluation.  A test that placed the mirror in front of you.  A test that no one could pass for you.  A test that dropped you to your knees.  When was the last time you believed in yourself?  Believed when no one else did.  Believed when everything seemed uncertain and unclear.  When was the last time you apologized?  Apologized for disrespecting someone.  Apologized for lying on or gossiping about someone.  Apologized for not offering to assist when you had the resources they needed.  When was the last time you thanked the Lord for being faithful toward you?  Faithful when you were not.  Faithful when no one else was.  Faithful when the pressure was against you.  When was the last time you encouraged yourself?  Or the last time you treated yourself well?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In life, there are times when we are faced with ourselves.  Times when we are forced to evaluate everything in our lives.  The good and the bad.  The highs and the lows.  The trials and the triumphs.  There are times when we have to trust the Lord in the middle of the storm.  During these times in our lives the Lord is not trying to destroy you.  He desires for us to mature to new levels.  The tests are not designed for us to quit, but grow.  My friend, when you realize the areas that need improvement, Don’t Give Up … Grow Up!  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 13:11 – When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  There comes a time in our lives when we must put away childish things.  Things that cause us to act against God.  Things that cause tantrums or complaining.  When you realize you are not perfect, as you thought, Don’t Give Up … Grow Up!

My brother, my sister, how can you effectively minister to the next generation if you are not willing to grow?  How can you constructively criticize your neighbor when you are unwilling to be criticized (Matthew 7:1-5)?  The Bible declares in Hebrews 5:13 – For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.  Beloved, Don’t Give Up … Grow Up!  There comes a time when you must correct what is wrong (2 Timothy 3:16).  Stand for what is right.  Pray for those who spitefully use you (Matthew 5:44).  This morning, do you notice areas in your life which need growth?  Do you notice faults needing improvement or sins needing repentance?  The Lord has a purpose for your life.  None are without sin (Romans 3:23).  Think on this question: What prevents you from growing up?  Every test we endure is designed to mature and strengthen us.  Don’t Give Up … Grow Up! Prayer for Today: Father, in my life, I see  areas that need growth.  Help me grow up and not give up.  As I grow, allow me to be a witness to others.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Don’t Cry, … Fight!

Thursday, February 9th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever endured a storm that seemed to never end?  As time went on, and you suffered a little while, you assumed things would begin to change for you.  It has been days, weeks, months, or even years and it feels as if the storm has not passed.  Have you ever felt like giving up in the middle of the battle?  For some reason you no longer had the desire to fight.  What you once prayed for now you do not feel it is worth it.  Have you ever asked God to take the pain away?  Things were so painful until you could no longer handle it.  The dilemma became overwhelming.  The responsibility began to consume you.  Are you currently experiencing a test?  Where you are in your life, are you faced with a challenge?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  So often in our lives we find ourselves in the face of a giant.  This giant stands between you and your promise from the Lord.  As much as you scream or cry this giant has no desire to move out of your way.  The enemy is trying all he can to keep you from receiving what the Lord has promised.  The giant is symbolic for whatever has been designed to stand in the way of your destiny.  My friend, Don’t Cry, … Fight!  This is not the time for you to cry and complain.  It is time for you to go after what the Lord said was yours.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.  The promises of God are assured.  If He said it, He will complete it (Philippians 1:6).  Knowing this, the enemy will try what he can to hinder the process.  Don’t Cry, … Fight!  You have to be willing to fight for what is yours.  While it is true, what God has for you is for you, the enemy is still going to attack when he can.  Your tears do not move him.  Wipe them and fight back.

My brother, my sister, what has the Lord promised you?  What has the Lord spoken in your spirit?  Do you still believe?  Don’t Cry, … Fight!  The Bible declares in 1 John 4:4 – Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.  Beloved, the Lord is on your side.  He is a very present help in the time of trouble (Psalms 46:1).  You have to been determined.  You must not roll over and die.  Dear friend, do you realize the enemy is trying to steal your promise, kill your dreams, and destroy your destiny (John 10:10).  Now is not the time to be passive and shy.  The Bible declares in Matthew 11:12 – And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.  When the enemy attacks on your job, in your home, at the church, in your finances, within your marriage, Don’t Cry, … Fight!  Fight for what the Lord has promised you.  Remember, anything worth having is worth fighting for.  Prayer for Today: Father, for too long I have allowed the enemy to attack me and I never fought back.  Today, I walk in the boldness and authority you gave me.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

There Is A Difference!

Wednesday, February 8th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever dedicated yourself to pleasing other people with hopes that they would notice you in return?  You do certain things hoping people will notice you.  You hope people will except you.  Sometimes you give your last just because you desire to fit in with the clique.  Have you ever searched for love in all the wrong places?  You hung with people, went places, and said things just to feel love.  After all you have done, your search came up empty handed.  Have you ever committed your life to pursuing happiness?  For some reason you believe happiness is more important than the joy of the Lord.  Have you ever walked away from the things of God because family and friends did not believe what you were believing?  Their doubt discouraged you.  Are you in need of peace of mind?  The peace that passes all understanding.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Somewhere along the way we have experienced confusion when defining happiness and joy.  We believe both words mean the same.  My friend, There Is A Difference!  Besides the definitions we find in Webster, there are other differences.  Happiness is based on certain things happening in my life.  If things are going well, I am happy.  If things are not going as I would like, I am unhappy or disappointed.  The Bible declares in Proverbs 29:18 – Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.  On the other hand, joy does not depend on what happens in my life.  Joy enables me to smile and rejoice when everything in my life seems upside down.  Joy is the satisfaction of knowing everything will be all right.  There Is A Difference!  While it seems dark in my life joy allows me to keep going until I see the sun shining again.  The Bible declares in Nehemiah 8:10 – … for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

My brother, my sister, many people wait years for good things to happen in their lives.  Their life is placed on hold because certain things have not taken place the way they would like.  Many are pursuing happiness only to realize it was not worth it when they received it.  There Is A Difference!  The Bible declares in Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.  Joy allows weary, wounded, and sad people to proceed as if everything was going well.  Joy allows you to laugh when nothing is funny.  Smile in the midst of hell.  Work in a hostile environment.  Believe when others doubt.  Beloved, There Is A Difference!  While happiness may bring a smile it only occurs when good things happen in your life.  Joy is mentioned with the fruit of the spirit.  It enables you to celebrate before you see the manifestation of your prayers.  Dear friend, God desires to shower you with joy unspeakable.  Remember, you do not need certain things to happen to experience God’s joy.  Prayer for Today: Father, today I ask that you bless me with joy.  The joy You promised me in Your Word.  The joy that enables me to see You in everything.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

God Knows What He Is Doing!

Tuesday, February 7th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself looking for love in all the wrong places?  You knew God loved you but the desire to be loved by man caused you to search in places displeasing to God.  Have you neglected your needs for those of the job?  You worked overtime, never took vacations, and skipped lunch breaks.  Have you ever compared your lifestyle to a family member or friend?  Your definition of success was comparing your achievements with those of others.  If you had more, you felt good about yourself.  If they had more, you became depressed and bitter.  Are you mad at yourself because of your current location in life?  You assumed things would be different.  At your current age, you thought you would be further along.  Are you happy?  This is a serious question.  Hmmmmmmmm

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  When we were growing up, we had our lives mapped out.  We had our lives broken down in five year stages.  By 18, you graduate high school.  By 23, you had your first degree and working with a nice salary.  By 28, you are married or in a serious relationship. By 33, you have the white picket fence, with the dog, wonderful spouse, and one or two beautiful child(ren).  Sound familiar?  While planning your life, you never anticipated trials and tribulations.  You never thought of life’s hurdles.  What do you do when your plan for life is altered because of finances, an early (or late) pregnancy, death in the family, divorce, or health reasons?  How do you cope with alterations?  You are now upset with life, God, and yourself.  You feel like a failure.  You wonder what went wrong.  You wonder what God is doing.  My friend, God Knows What He Is Doing!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:9 – A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

My brother, my sister, the Lord still has a plan for your life.  The mistakes you’ve made are not hidden from the Lord.  The things that caused your misery, God will use for your ministry.  Before you experienced the ‘hell’ you did not qualify to minister to the broken.  If you never had financial troubles you could not testify that the Lord is a provider.  God Knows What He Is Doing!  The Bible declares in Psalms 37:23  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in His way.  Beloved, although you do not understand everything, He does.  The struggles you’ve endured are preparing you for a greater assignment.  There are many people God wants you to encourage along the way.  The things you experienced in life, some people are currently enduring.  They want to give up.  You now qualify to minister to their needs.  You can relate.  You can give them hope.  The Bible declares in Psalms 18:30 – As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.  God Knows What He Is Doing! Prayer for Today: Father, forgive me for complaining during my testing times.  I now realize you know what You are doing.  Use me to encourage someone who does not believe.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Make Sure It’s God!

Monday, February 6th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had friends pressure you into doing what you knew was not right?  They made every attempt to persuade you.  Have you ever found yourself in a difficult position on your job?  The temptation to lie was trying to overtake you.  Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life?  Everyday seemed to get harder and harder to handle.  Everyone and everything requires your attention.  You feel pressured to perform at the highest level man expects each day.  Have you ever tried to lock yourself in your bedroom, office, or car?  You hoped hiding would erase the increasing demand.  Have you ever wanted to resign from a committee, a position, or an organization?  Because of increasing disagreements, you have experienced a strong desire to separate yourself.  Can you relate to any of these questions?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Life will often place you in position where sudden decisions must be made.  There are times when you are not given ample time to think or meditate on the offers or assignments.  A response is requested immediately.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?  My friend, before you open your mouth to speak … Make Sure It’s God!   The Bible declares in 1 John 4:1 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Make sure your response is from the Lord.  Make sure you can hear the Lord speaking to you.  The enemy will always try to push you away from the will and plan of God.  You will receive offers that appear unreal.  Meet people with ulterior motives.  Meet wolves in sheep clothing.  Make Sure It’s God!   Make sure what you do and why you do it brings glory to the Lord.  If what you are doing does not offer God glory, why are you doing it?

My brother, my sister, what are you involved in today?  Who are you serving?  What decision do you feel pressured to make?  Make Sure It’s God!  Allow me to offer one point of advice.  If the decision(s) you make leave you confused, know that it is not of God.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 14:33 – For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.  Beloved, there are some things God will ask you to do that seem ridiculous.  You will question your abilities.  While that may be, God will not ask you to do something that causes confusion.  The enemy uses this to pollute your mind with his thoughts and plans.  The enemy is trying to destroy you and your relationship with God.  Make Sure It’s God!  Dear friend, before you join yourself to a person, place, or thing, make sure it is the Lord’s will for you.  Everything that seems good is not God.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have a desire to please you in all I do.  Please help me make decisions for Your glory.  Lead and guide my steps, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Help Is On The Way!

Friday, February 3rd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever felt the weight of the world on your shoulders?  It seemed as though everyone’s problems were given to you.  Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the demands of work, church, home, and finances?  At one point, it appeared as though everything required your immediate attention.  Have you ever stood in the shower hoping today would be better than yesterday?  You try your best to prepare for the task waiting on you today.  Have you ever felt fearful when the phone rang?  Not knowing if the next call will be about death, debt, or destruction, you wish that the phone never rings again.  Have you become a prisoner of your fears?  Because of your fears and concerns, you have isolated yourself from everything and everyone.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  It can be difficult trying to proceed forward and still worry about the things behind.  You attempt to tell yourself all is well but within you do not believe yourself.  In so many ways you are crying for help but you never open your mouth.  Your mind desires to fight but your body is too weak to respond.  You feel defeated and conquered.  What is wrong with me? has become a daily question you ask yourself.  My friend, Help Is On The Way!  The trauma you are faced with today, is not yours alone.  God is a very present help in the time of your trouble (Psalms 46:1).  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:1,2 – I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.  It is above where you will find the help you need for the situation you face.  If you call on His name, Help Is On The Way!

My brother, my sister, today you can be freed from the pain and hurt.  You can be freed from the uncertainties of today.  You no longer have to live in fear or despair.  In the Lord you can find a resting place (Isaiah 32:18).  The Bible declares in Psalms 91:1 – He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  Beloved, Help Is On The Way!  Help is being sent.  (Help – to give assistance or support to)  Do you realize God is the only one who can see in the areas you attempt to hide.  He is the only one who can touch the areas family and friends did not notice.  He is able to heal what trained doctors question.  He can explain what seminary and a PhD cannot.  Dear friend, the help you need is available to you but you must learn to ask for it.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 4:16 – Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.  It is at the throne of grace that you receive the help you need for the pain you endure.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have tried everything and everyone.  This morning, I ask for Your help.  Please help me, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Need A Word From The Lord!

Thursday, February 2nd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever battled with depression? Because of the loss of something or someone, your normal behavior has been altered.  Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?  With so much pain and uncertainty you cried yourself to sleep, only to wake up the next morning still crying.  Have you ever prayed for someone to notice your pain and heartache?  On the outside things appear wonderful.  You are constantly smiling and laughing.  But within you are a nervous wreck.  Each day you fight off the tears.  Have you ever experienced disappointment with family members?  When they were down you were there to minister to them.  You worked hard to assist them back to their feet.  Now that all is well in their life you are in need of encouragement and love.  The same person has now moved on without any regard for you.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, you are at a point of desperation.  You feel as though you cannot make it through another day, another bad phone call, or another tragedy.  Now that you are getting over a past hurt, the last thing you need is something else to go wrong.  Worry has begun to consume your mind.  You read your Bible but the anxiety is still there.  You pray but the questions still linger.  You Need A Word From The Lord!  You need a divine encounter with the Lord.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 3:15 – While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.  At this point in your life family and friends usually cannot help you.  As much as they desire to assist, what you need they do not have.  You Need A Word From The Lord!  You need a life changing, goal altering Word.  A word that causes peace to consume your body.  It is this Word that can and will keep you when everything seems wrong in life.  It is this Word that sustains you through the breakdowns.

My brother, my sister, what fear has you in bondage?  What concern causes depression in your life?  Do you believe God knows what is best?  You Need A Word From The Lord!  You need one-on-one time with the Master.  Working overtime will not fill the void.  Shopping sprees will not overshadow the burden.  Sleeping and crying all day will not change the outcome.  The Bible declares in Matthew 24:35 – Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.  Beloved, today God desires to speak to you.  He desires to penetrate your spirit.  He longs to remove the pain in your life.  The thing you feel you need to survive God is able to be the replacement you need.  You Need A Word From The Lord!  You need to know God knows best.  You need to know He will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5).  Dear friend, the Lord will always be there for you.  There is a Word God has that’s just for you.  Receive it today!  Prayer for Today: Father, today I need to hear from you.  I am hurting within, but I know you can heal my hurt.  I need to hear your voice clearly.  Please give me a Word that will keep me strong.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!

To Everything There Is A Season!

Wednesday, February 1st, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever given your all to a person, place, or thing but was overlooked when accolades were distributed?  It seemed as though the late night meetings, last minute phone calls, and encouraging words were overlooked or forgotten.  Have you ever sacrificed everything you owned to assist someone who was in need, but when the tables turned no one was there to help you?  You gave bountifully to organizations in need, but when you were in need people forgot about you.  Have you ever felt cheated by friends and family?  Because of your generous heart and free spirit, you often find yourself being walked over.  Are you currently recovering from the neglect and abuse of relationships?  You offered your all to a person, but (s)he left you broken.  Has life caused you to feel bitter?  Have you become furious with everyone?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In the beginning you were the person everyone called on for encouragement.  You enjoyed sharing a scripture or offering prayer to those in need.  It brought you great joy when people asked for your advice regarding a personal matter.  As time has gone on you no longer feel valuable.  The people who once contacted you have forgotten your phone number.  My friend, To Everything There Is A Season!  There are times when you feel appreciated by everyone, but there are also times when you feel unappreciated.  The Bible declares in Ecclesiastes 3:1 – To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  During the times in your life when you feel unvalued you must never allow the enemy to pollute your mind and thoughts.  Allow me to ask a question: When people were calling on you for assistance were you doing it for the glory of God or for self-glorification?  To Everything There Is A Season!  There are times when God will use you for the assignment and there are times when He will use someone else.

My brother, my sister, just because your name is not being called does not mean you are ineffective for ministry.  If you were doing it all for God’s glory, bitterness and resentment should not consume you.  The Bible declares in Colossians 3:23 – And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;  To Everything There Is A Season!  Beloved, there’s a season of public display and there’s a season of quiet service.  Beware of the enemy’s traps.  The enemy will allow you to feel untouchable and irreplaceable.  You will begin to think it cannot be done unless you do it.  You will begin to compare and compete your ministry with others.  None of this brings glory to the Lord.  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 – Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.  During the times that you feel overlooked, learn how to encourage yourself (1 Samuel 30:6).  Prayer for Today: Father, forgive me for thinking it was all about me.  It was you who selected me for this great assignment.  I give you all of the glory, honor and praise.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!
