Use Your Time Wiser!

Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever wondered why people talk about each other?  Is it because they are not happy with themselves?  Is it because they find great pleasure in focusing on someone else’s misfortunes and shortcomings?  Is it because they think God has given them the authority to judge others?  Is it because they feel important when they spread other people’s business around?  I am unsure why people talk about each other.  I am unsure why I have been guilty of doing it myself.  The one thing I can tell you is God does not like it.  After many days and nights of overwhelming guilt, I came to realize the Lord is not pleased when His children are engaged in degrading conversations.  What better ways we could spend our time than sitting around talking bad about someone else.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I do not come acting like a person who has never committed sin.  I do not come acting like a person who was born speaking in tongues.  To the contrary.  I come as a person who realized the displeasure my behavior gave to the Lord.  While many people find rumors and gossip enjoyable, the Lord despises it.  My friend, Use Your Time Wiser!  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 4:11 – And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;  Beware of your daily conversations.  Make sure people do not know you because of your many words (talking too much.)  Be sober, be vigilant.  Your time is given for better purposes than giving pleasure to the world and your flesh.  Whether the information is accurate or not, God wants you to utilize the time for His glory.

My brother, my sister, Use Your Time Wiser!  The Bible declares in James 1:19 – Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:  Before you take something and run with it make sure you are not acting as a vessel for the enemy’s glory.  You do realize the enemy receives glory when he sees children of God fighting and speaking against one another?  When the gossip comes to you, cut it immediately.  Do not allow people to contaminate your spirit or verbally assault your brother or sister.  Beloved, Use Your Time Wiser!  Each of us receive 24-hours a day.  How are you using your time?  How are you maximizing it?  Prayer for Today: Father, forgive me for speaking against anyone.  I am not perfect and I should not think I am better than someone else.  Help me use my time for Your glory.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

It Is Time!

Monday, October 2nd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, …

  • It is time for you to stop living your life to make everyone accept you.
  • It is time for you to stop trying to appease everyone’s feelings.
  • It is time for you to stop hiding behind the mask.
  • It is time for you to stop acting like you are happy when you know you need prayer.
  • It is time for you to stop playing games with the Lord and really approach His throne in sincerity.
  • It is time for you to be who God formed, created and called you to be.
  • It is time for you to walk in the promises of God.
  • It is time for you to stop allowing people to walk over you.
  • It is time for you to stand up and be responsible.
  • It is time for you to stop crying over things you cannot control or change.
  • It is time for you to declare and decree your blessings.
  • It is time for you to go forth and stop waiting on people who do not want to go with you.
  • It is time for you to be who God wants you to be and not what everyone else desires to make you.

Beloved, the time is now and the opportunity is right in front of you!  Maximize it!
