You Are In The Favor Of God!

Friday, June 2nd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning’s devotional will be short and right to the point.  As I was meditating this morning, the Lord spoke a powerful Word into my spirit for us … His people.  From this day forth we are charged to walk as the blessed people we are.  Beloved, You Are In The Favor Of God!  It is time for you and me to walk, talk, live, move, and declare the favor God has bestowed upon us.  As your day(s) unfold, stop wondering if great things will happen for you.  As a child of the Most High God, you should always expect it.  The Bible declares in Psalms 30:5 – For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

The favor of God:

  • Opens doors that man attempted to shut in your face.
  • Grants access where others are not permitted.
  • Places you in positions that your contacts could never do.
  • Enables you to enjoy blessings that others only dream about.
  • Causes other people to bless you (even we they do not like you).
  • Showers you with blessings that money could never buy.

Prayer for Today: Father, Your favor surrounds me wherever I go.  Today, I will walk according to Your lead.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Revelation 3:8

May God Bless you at Your point of need!

Do You Have Time?

Thursday, June 1st, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  As you plan the activities of your day, how bombarded is your schedule?  How much unnecessary stuff do you find yourself involved in each day?  Are there things in your life that are meaningless?  Do you spend a lot of time performing wasteful projects?  Are you consumed with unproductive assignments that God does not have involvement in?  So often in our lives we spend every waking moment performing a role that everyone has grown to love.  We act as though we enjoy the conversations we share, the co-workers we have, or the people we are surrounded by.  There are times when our lives feel overwhelmed with the agendas and programs of man.  We spend our time satisfying everyone but the Lord.  We do what others want, when they want, how they want, and where they want.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  As you review your daily calendar, allow me to ask you one very important question.  My friend, when it comes to God, Do You Have Time?  Do you have time to spend uninterrupted with the Lord?  Are your days overwhelmingly cluttered with meaningless people, places, and things?  When you lay your head down at night, do you feel complete or are there many things left undone?  The Bible declares in James 4:8 – Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you … There comes a time when everything else must be placed on hold.  There comes a time when your agenda and plans are submitted to the move and glory of God.  Do You Have Time?  Time to read your Bible.  Time to lay prostrate in the presence of God.  Time to listen to the voice and instructions of God.  Time to spend meditating on the commandments of God.  Time to prepare for the assignment God has birth within you.

My brother, my sister, if you have not made time for God, you are alive but not living.  Your very existence is centered around your intimate walk and relationship with the Lord.  Just as it is in marriage, you can never claim to love the other if you never have time for the other.  Do You Have Time?  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Beloved, if you are too busy for the Lord, then you are B.U.S.Y. (Being Under Satan’s Yoke).  Review your daily calendar.  Look at your To-Do List.  After you have accomplished your goals for the day, have you spent quality time with the Master.  Child of God, your day should start and end with the Master.  The Bible declares Psalms 63:1 – O God, Thou art my God; early will I seek Thee: my soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;  Prayer for Today: Father, please allow my days to start and end with You.  Nothing else matters but spending time with You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!
