You Have Another Chance!

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you the type of person that allows the enemy to control your thoughts and intents?  Are you the type of person that allows family members and friends to walk over you?  Are you the person that everyone knows can be manipulated and bribed?  Are you the person that everyone runs to when they need money?  Many times in life we find ourselves surrounded by people who desire to misuse us and the blessings God bestowed upon us.  So often the enemy will send attacks against us just when we have received a supernatural outpour from the Lord.  he tries everything possible to hinder us from receiving and walking into the blessings of God.  Sometimes he uses our family, our friends, our jobs, our past mistakes, our church members, or even ourselves.  Whatever can be used to keep us bound, he will definitely try to use it against us.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Last year you may have played into the enemy’s hand.  You probably did not discern his tactics and weapons.  But this year, you should know better.  If you know better, you should do better.  My friend, You Have Another Chance!  I do not know the mistakes you made previously.  I am not aware of the sins you engaged in before this devotional.  However, the Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  According to the Word of God, you are no longer bound by the old man.  You are a new creature when you are in Christ.  While many make resolutions to lose weight, gain weight, budget better, spend less, or relax more, you should make up your mind to maximize the new opportunity God has granted unto you.  You Have Another Chance!

My brother, my sister, do you remember the sacrifice Christ made for you on the Cross of Calvary?  Do you remember the price He paid for you?  Is there any thing or anyone in your life that you allow to take your joy away?  Are there any hidden secrets that you hope no one will ever discover about you?  Beloved, you no longer have to live in fear of exposure.  You Have Another Chance!   The Bible declares in Isaiah 43:18 – Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. You are chosen by God for a great purpose.  Yes we have made many mistakes.  Yes we have stumbled at times and fallen during others.  In spite of it all, God has granted each of us another chance to get it right.  Understand, this time you must realize you cannot do it by yourself.  We need the Lord’s intervention.  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:1-2  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.  Do not repeat the same mistakes this year that you committed last year.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank you for another chance to do things right.  Help me take full advantage of this opportunity.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

I Speak Life!

Monday, May 1st, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently surrounded by people who quickly doubt the power of God?  As soon as you receive a negative report, this person instantly speaks negative.  They cannot see how you or anyone else can recover from the hard blow thrown by the world.  This person attends church religiously, prays occasionally, reads his/her Bible regularly, but they still think the worse in every situation.  Do you know someone whose currently battling with a life threatening disease or infirmity?  Are you encouraging them to continue believing in the Lord?  Are they trapped by naysayers and doubting family members?  So often in life you never know who a person is until you endure a tragedy in your life.  They appear one way but when the news comes in their real ‘colors’ are displayed.  When you are believing God for a supernatural manifestation, you must be careful who you allow to speak into your ears.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  The Word of God is true.  There are no mistakes in it.  Whatever God declared in His Word, He is able and mandated to fulfill.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:11 – So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  My friend, today I Speak Life!  I speak that you shall not die but live and declare the glorious works of God.  I speak that you are the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13).  I speak that you are a lender and not a borrower (Deuteronomy 28:12).  I speak that you are blessed in the city and blessed in the field (Deuteronomy 28:3).  I speak that you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).  I speak that you are an Ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).  I speak that you are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.  I speak that all things will work together for the good in your life (Romans 8:28).  I speak that all of your needs are supplied by God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).  I speak that God will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).  I speak that you are a blessing to the nations (Deuteronomy 28:10).  I speak that you are called for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).

My brother, my sister, I Speak Life!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  What are you currently going through?  What negativity have you heard this year?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with?  What decision are you having trouble with today?  Beloved, you are a winner in Christ Jesus.  There are no mistakes in God.  You are a heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:7).  I speak that you shall rise above every trap of the enemy.  I speak that the end of a thing will be better than its beginning (Ecclesiastes 7:8).  I speak that praise shall continually be in your mouth (Psalms 34:1).  I speak that you shall be a light shining for the glory of God (Matthew 5:16).  I speak that your ministry shall impact all.  I speak that your steps are ordered by the Lord (Psalms 37:23).  I speak peace into your life (Philippians 4:7).  I Speak Life!  I speak the blessings of God over you and your family.  Prayer for Today: Father, today I speak life to every dead situation in my life.  I speak it in the name of Jesus Christ … Amen!
