What God Ordains, He Maintains!

Friday, March 17th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had a friend who promised to always be there, but at the sight of attacks they disappeared?  When things were going well for you, they surrounded you with applauds and words of support.  You could always depend on them (so you thought.)  You were always there to encourage them when things were not going well.  Now you are in need of encouragement and this same friend is no where to be found.  (S)He is not answering their telephone.  Not returning your e-mails or text messages.  Have you ever endured a trying time alone?  Naturally, there was no one around to lift you up.  There were no get well cards coming through the mail.  No roses being delivered to your doorstep.  Have you ever had people speak against you, even though you were doing what the Lord required of you?  Think about it …

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  To have people judge you, especially when you are being obedient to the will of God, can really hurt.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?  If so, the Lord sent me here to tell you something.  My friend, What God Ordains, He Maintains!  You no longer have to explain or apologize for the blessings you are enjoying.  God chose to do what He is doing in you.  Your calling is real.  Your anointing is from the Lord.  Your purpose is God-given.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:29-30 – For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.  Why do you feel the need to explain to others why God is using you?  No matter how you explain it, they will never understand it.  Truth be told, you really do not understand why either.

My brother, my sister, What God Ordains, He Maintains!  No matter how many people attempted it before you, if God said do it, He has a reason for you to do it.  You are an original not a cheap copy.  There is no one, no where like you.  You are one of a kind.  The Bible declares in John 15:16 – Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.  Beloved, what are you allowing to keep you from moving freely in the things of God?  Who are you trying to explain it to?  Why are you trying to justify God’s favor upon your life?  What God Ordains, He Maintains!  Has God chosen you?  Are you operating in the calling of God for your life?  Are you bound by the opinions of others?  Child of God, you are chosen for this assignment.  No one else can do it for you or like you.  God wants you!  The Bible declares in Matthew 22:14 – For many are called, but few are chosen.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank you for ordaining me for this great assignment. Today I commit myself to fulfilling Your will, Your way.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Today’s Going To Be A Brighter Day!

Thursday, March 16th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had long nights of despair and distress?  Nights that seemed to never end.  Nights filled with tears and heartaches.  Nights of loneliness and isolation.  Nights of fear and horror.  Nights of abuse and neglect.  Have you ever found yourself walking the floors worrying about the outcome of a matter that was out of your control?  You could not change the result but you still worried yourself sick about it.  You knew God would take care of it, but you still pondered the pros and cons.  Have you ever prayed in fear?  You were up against a challenge or threat.  You were caught doing what you knew was displeasing to the Lord.  The doctors called and asked that you come to their office in the morning.  Have you ever sat on the edge of your bed fighting back tears?  Your child is running the streets.  Your job is in jeopardy.  Your finances are funny but you are not laughing.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  During your darkest days and nights, the Lord was present with you.  It was His arms that brought comfort to you.  It was His peace that cleared your mind.  It was His love that upheld you.  Today may not be as you wanted it to be.  Attacks may have come against you and your family.  Rumors and lies could have been spread against you.  My friend, Today’s Going To Be A Brighter Day!  Many times we say you are next in line for a miracle, while that may be true, but today I also believe things will be brighter than they were yesterday.  The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 – For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.  As a child of the Most High God, you are assured of great things.  While there will be times of trouble (Job 14:1), God is more than enough.  He is able to be whatever you need Him to be, when you need Him to be it.  Do you believe Today’s Going To Be A Brighter Day?  I do!

My brother, my sister, what situation or circumstance prevents you from believing things will be brighter and better today?  What person, place, or thing hinders you from seeing the sun shine again?  What dilemma or matter are you allowing to keep you bound?  The Bible declares in Psalms 72:17 – His name shall endure for ever: His name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in Him: all nations shall call him blessed.  Today’s Going To Be A Brighter Day!  Beloved, God did not form you to live shackled.  He did not purpose you to walk in depression.  The enemy desires to keep you in darkness.  He desires to keep your eyes close to the light shining ahead.  This morning, did you awake with an attitude of excitement or anger?  It matters not how bad you think it is, do you believe your God is greater than your storm (1 John 4:4)?  Do you believe God controls all things?  You are destined for brighter days.  Walk in them.  Prayer for Today: Father, allow me to focus my attention on you and not my situations.  When I do this, I can see the brighter days you created for me.  In Jesus name … Amen!

You Must First Love Yourself!

Wednesday, March 15th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! who hast set Thy glory above the heavens. (Psalms 8:1)  Have you ever awaken to a new day but your mind was still pondering the day before?  There were mistakes you made and decisions you forgot to finalize.  There were calls you failed to return and commitments you did not fulfill.  Have you ever spent your weekend worrying about work and assignments you must complete the following week?  On Friday you are worrying about Monday.  You spend Saturday and Sunday beating yourself up because there were things you wanted to achieve the week before.  Do you spend your days stressed out?  Do you spend your days trying to gain the acceptance of your co-workers?  Are you trying to buy friends?  Are you happy with who you are?  Do you love you?  Hmmmmmm

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, You Must First Love Yourself!  Many times in life we attempt to find love in the arms of someone else.  We find ourselves looking for love in all the wrong places.  When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you love what you see?  Are you ashamed of your appearance?  Are you wearing a mask to hide the person God made you to be?  You do realize you cannot run from yourself?  You see you more than we see you.  The Bible declares in Mark 12:31 – And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.  The Word of God requires for us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.  The question is, do you love yourself?  If you do not love who you are, how can you truly love someone else?  You Must First Love Yourself!  When you start loving yourself, you grow to a point where the approval of others no longer matters to you.  You begin to love others because you love yourself.

My brother, my sister, do you know that God loves you?  Are you living with the assurance that God loves you?  The Bible declares in John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  Beloved, You Must First Love Yourself!  What sin have you committed that prevents you from loving yourself again?  What past hurt hinders you from moving forward in the love of the Lord?  Who have you failed when it was time to show them love?  The Bible declares in Luke 10:27 – And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.  You Must First Love Yourself! Prayer for Today: Father, today I thank you that I have learned how to love myself.  I am able to love me because you first loved me.  Now learn, teach me how to love others.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

God Hears Your Every Cry!

Tuesday, March 14th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed; Great is His faithfulness toward us (Lamentations 3:22-23).  Have you ever experienced overwhelming grief and sorrow because the loss of a friend or family member?  There were times when you did not think you would make it.  There were many nights you cried yourself to sleep, only to wake up the next morning still crying.  Have you ever wondered how good could come out of something so bad?  You find yourself wondering how a blessing could come out of the storms of life.  Have you ever had more questions than answers?  Your mind is consumed with an overload of questions, but the answers seem few and far between.  Have you ever had more tears than tissues?  Just when you thought to get up, something or someone hit you with more horrific news.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Are you in need of encouragement today?  My friend, God Hears Your Every Cry!  The times when you felt alone and isolated from others, God heard your plea.  When people attempted to contaminate your vision, God heard your prayer.  When you wanted to give up on everything and everyone, God heard your groan.  The Bible declares in Psalms 40:1 – I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  During your waiting period and your lonely season(s), God is able to hear and answer your prayers.  Just because people disown you, does not mean God operates the same way.  There is a big difference between the ways of man and the ways of God (Isaiah 55:8).  God Hears Your Every Cry!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 59:1 – Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear:  Even in times when you want to cry but cannot, the Lord is with you and He knows what you are feeling.

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with today?  What dilemma has you on the verge of quitting?  What struggle has you fearing the worse?  Are you hoping someone, somewhere will notice you and the pain you are dealing with?  The Bible declares in Psalms 126:5 – They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.  Beloved, God Hears Your Every Cry!  The things that man never sees nor hears, God can.  The pain you feel that no one else notices, God can.  The hurt you harbor within that no one seems to care about, God does.  Your child is a blessing.  Your marriage is blessed.  Your ministry is effective.  Your anointing is real.  You can sleep again.  God can heal your body.  He can make a way when there seems to be no way out.  There’s something about the cry of a child of God that causes our Father to intervene immediately.  God Hears Your Every Cry! Prayer for Today: Father, when no one else could hear it, You heard my every cry.  Thank you for tuning in.  I love You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

God Is Not Finished With You!

Monday, March 13th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  The Lord is great and greatly to be praised (Psalms 96:4).  Have you ever wondered why the Lord chose you to do what you’re doing?  Knowing your limitations and frequent times of doubting, you wonder why would He choose me?  Knowing my quick temper and quick tongue, why would He choose me?  Being aware of my faults and failures, why would He pick me?  Have you ever had other people question your calling and anointing?  Because they were around when you were unfaithful to the Lord, now they find it hard to believe God could use you.  Since they refuse to change what they’re doing, they also fail to believe your change is sincere.  Have you ever found yourself trying to explain to others why God is blessing you?  You feel as if they deserve an explanation.  Stop It!  No matter what you say to them they will never fully grasp what the Lord is doing.  It is not for them to understand.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Have you become overwhelmed by life’s problems?  Have you desired to give up on life and yourself?  Have friends and family walked away in disbelief?  Have you lost hope that things could change?  Have you ever felt within that there was much more work to do but you were too weak to do it?  Have you been there?  Are you there now?  Have people mocked your commitment to the Lord’s will?  Are the opinions of people the reason why you want to give up?  My friend, God Is Not Finished With You!  The attacks of man can be used to refine you (Malachi 3:3).  The Bible declares in Philippians 1:6 – Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:  Just because man questions your work and your walk does not mean God is finish with you.  Child of God, as you walk closer to the Lord you learn everyone you can count cannot be counted upon.  Have you forgotten, God does not need many people to complete His work?  The Bible declares in Matthew 18:20 – For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.

My brother, my sister, God Is Not Finished With You!  To quit now would leave the work undone.  To backslide would cause many to fall short.  Whether you believe it or not, there are some people who see God in you.  There are some people who gave their heart to the Lord because they noticed your faithfulness.  You have work to do.  You have an assignment to fulfill.  The Bible declares in Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  Beloved, God Is Not Finished With You!  No matter what lie the enemy has spoken to you, he does not have the final word (Numbers 23:19).  You are a child of the Most High God.  You have been sanctified (set apart) for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 2:9 – But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light;  Dear friend, don’t stop now.  There are more to win for the Kingdom.  Prayer for Today: Father, please give me the strength to continue.  Destroy the spirit of quitting that attempts to suffocate me.  I am chosen to change this generation.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Says Who?

Friday, March 10th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When was the last time you told the Lord thank you?  Thank you for being God.  Thank you for continuously watching over me and my family.  Thank you for sending your only begotten son to die for me.  Thank you for comforting me in my time(s) of brokenness, loneliness, and sadness.  Thank you for making ways when I could not see a way out.  When was the last time you told someone about the goodness of God?  You told them how the Lord has brought you through many test and trials.  You told them how God has changed your life.  You testified that if it had not been for the Lord … (Psalms 124:1-3).  Have you ever allowed someone to discourage you from believing God could do it?  Because of someone else’s unbelief, have you found yourself questioning the possibilities?  Are you confident that God can do it, even if no one else believes?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I have a question in my spirit for you to answer.  My friend, Says Who?  It’s not a long question or a grammatically correct question, but it still deserves a response.  Who said you could not do great things for the Lord?  Who said God could not use you for His glory?  Who said your mistakes could not be corrected by the love of God?  Who said God was mad at you?  Who have you been listening to?  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:25 – Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.  Think about the question.  Says Who?  Who told you it was impossible?  Who laughed when you told them your dream?  Who mocked your faith in the Lord?  Who questions your sincerity?  Many times we experience turbulence in our lives because those around us seldom believe what we believe.  Sometimes we find ourselves surrounded by carnally minded people who cannot see pass the hand in front of them.

My brother, my sister, I come to tell you, God can and will do it.  He will do what man said was impossible (Luke 1:37).  He will use the one that worldly and self-righteous people rejected.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 – But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.  Says Who?  Beloved, I stand to tell you God is able to do anything He chooses to do.  Can you believe it?  For every person who said God could not use you for greatness, I come to tell you the devil is a liar.  Stand up!  Put your head up!  Go forth!  There is work to be done today.  Prayer for Today: Father, some have said it was impossible.  Some have walked away in doubt and disbelief. Today, I stand as a believer in You.  I know you can and you will.  Thank you, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

It Is In God’s Timing!

Thursday, March 9th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  What a Mighty God we serve.  Have you ever asked God to do something for you, but was uncertain if and when He would do it?  You went to Him with a sincere and humble heart.  You presented your request to Him with confidence but the enemy begin to attack you with fear and doubt.  How did you feel when the Lord answered your prayer?  Were you overtaken with joy or did you feel He owed it to you?  Have you ever prayed for something and it seemed as though God would never respond?  You approached the throne of God with boldness, gave your request, and walked away giving Him thanks.  As time has gone on it appears as if God has forgotten about you.  For some reason you believe the Lord has forgotten or not heard you completely.  Have you ever experienced a time when it felt as if God was silent?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  When you pray, do you request things that will ultimately give God glory?  Do you pray for selfish things or opportunities to bless the body of Christ?  Are your prayers self-centered or God-centered?  I come not to question your prayer life but your motives.  Remember, whatever you ask for God knows what lies in your heart.  While man can only see the outward appearance, God can see within (1 Samuel 16:7).  My friend, It Is In God’s Timing!  The answer to your prayer request is in God’s timing.  The Lord knows if and when you are ready to receive the manifestation.  The Bible declares in Ecclesiastes 3:1 – To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  There is an exact time for every blessing in our lives.  Along with the exact time, there is an exact purpose associated with the blessing.  It Is In God’s Timing!  Believe not the enemy. He’s a liar!

My brother, my sister, what have you asked from the Lord?  Are you in a holding pattern?  Are you questioning the Lord?  Has the enemy thrown negative and doubtful thoughts at you?  It Is In God’s Timing!  The Bible declares in Genesis 18:14 – Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, …  Beloved, the Lord knows when, where, and how to bless you.  He knows what you can handle, when you can handle it.  Just because the answer has not come [yet] does not mean the Lord has forgotten about you.  Do you not know the Lord still deserves the praise?  It Is In God’s Timing!  God’s time and man’s time are different (Isaiah 55:8).  Man expects things to happen their way, right away.  Not with the Lord.  He responds in His time and His way.  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning youPrayer for Today: Father, thank you for knowing what’s best for me.  My request has been heart by you.  It is in your timing and I trust in you.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Do Not Allow Others To Speak Evil of You!

Wednesday, March 8th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had your name and character abused by someone?  Out of wrath, someone spread false statements about you and your family.  Because of jealousy, people began to lie on you.  With hopes of destroying you, the enemy started using old friends to break you down.  Have you ever told someone what the Lord said but they attempted to rebuke and scorn you?  Since they did not believe what you were saying, they gathered others to take their side.  Now everyone is trying to rebuke you in stead of receiving the Word God gave you.  When was the last time you had family and friends smile in your face but talk behind your back?  While you were together, everyone praised God for you and your willingness to serve others.  When you separated, the same people used the same tongue to speak against you.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I encourage you to remain faithful to the assignment God has charged you with.  I rebuke the spirit of quitting and depression that has attempted to hold you bound.  The Lord has chosen you for this time and this hour.  You must understand the enemy desires to hinder you from obeying the will of God.  My friend, Do Not Allow Others To Speak Evil of You!  The Bible declares in Romans 14:16 – Let not then your good be evil spoken of:  You have a purpose to fulfill for the kingdom of God.  The Lord has invested great things within you.  Do not allow others to see you living contrary to the Word of God.  Do not allow the enemy to lead you in the path of unrighteousness.  Let others, especially family and friends, know you can be counted on.  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 3:16 – Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ

My brother, my sister, Do Not Allow Others To Speak Evil of You!  Do not allow others to think of you as a hypocrite.  You are God’s child.  You are anointed to work for the kingdom of God.  You are designed to be a vessel for God’s use.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 2:10 – For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  Beloved, let your speech and your walk compliment each other.  Others are watching you.  Many will only see the glory of God through you.  Do Not Allow Others To Speak Evil of You!  Child of God, let your praise be honest and your worship sincere.  Do not allow others to question the Word of God because you misquote it.  The Bible declares in Psalms 37:23 – The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in His way.  When others look at you, let them see Jesus in you.  Prayer for Today: Father, I realize you have chosen me for a great assignment.  Help me to live and to speak according to Your Word.  Let others see You in me.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Don’t Know My Story, What You See Is God’s Glory!

Tuesday, March 7th, 2023

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you realize how blessed you are?  In spite of the troubles, heartaches, and pains, the Lord has always been there to watch over us.  Do you know that the Lord is so good?  I mean so good.  Even when you were deep in sin, His goodness allowed Him to surround us with unconditional love.  When the enemy tried to prove our guilt, it was the Lord who pleaded our case.  Have you noticed how far the Lord has brought you?  Just think about the things you were doing before you committed yourself to His will.  Think about the places you visited regularly, or the people you hung around.  God is so good to us.  Knowing how ungrateful we can be at times, He still continuously blesses us.  Do you appreciate the Lord this morning?  Are you glad that there is life still in your body?  Are you allowing anger and bitterness to suck the life out of your days?

This morning, I am commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, You Don’t Know My Story, What You See Is God’s Glory!  So often in our lives we meet people who applaud us for where we are in our lives.  Every time you see them, (s)he always wants you to sing a song, tell a joke, pray a prayer, preach a sermon, or share your testimony.  While that is fine, many people were not around when you were going through your breakdowns and let-downs.  What they see today is the glory of God upon you.  Many people do not know the price you have paid for the anointing you display.   They do not understand how/why you shout and praise God all the time.  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. You Don’t Know My Story, What You See Is God’s Glory!  You must beware of people who try to come in your life after you have endured testing and trying.  You must be careful with who you allow to speak into your ear.  It was the Lord who brought you through the ‘hell’ in your life.

My brother, my sister, it’s not that you are arrogant or acting holier than someone else.  It’s not that you think others are beneath you, but you have been through enough in your life to declare that you are not going back there anymore.  The Bible declares in Psalms 40:2 – He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  The passion people see in your eyes is the glory of God.  The love you display to everyone is the glory of God.  The favor you enjoy in your life is the glory of God.  You Don’t Know My Story, What You See Is God’s Glory!  Stop apologizing because God is using you.  There was a refining process God took you through.  Stop allowing people to discourage what the Lord has spoken in your life.  What man does not understand man questions and judges.  Beloved, God brought you so that He could use you for this time.  Do not go back in what the Lord took you out of.  Live free in the Lord.  There’s a story to compliment God’s glory.  Prayer for Today: Father, I want to thank you for everything you brought me out of.  I have a story behind the glory.  I honor you today.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!
