Love The Person In The Mirror!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  My brother, my sister, I believe life is a gift given to each of us by our Father in Heaven.  I believe the way we behave each day displays our appreciation or lack thereof.  Do you realize the Lord does not expect us to copy anyone but the Lord Jesus Christ?  He is the only person we should strive to be like.  Many people stumble and fall in life because they desire to be like the Joneses (who are the Joneses anyway?).  They want to dress, live, and spend like the celebrities on television.  We live in a world where people are never satisfied with who God made them to be.  We want more plastic surgeries to fix this, trim this and adjust this.  We are a people who always find something wrong … even when nothing is there.  Sound familiar?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Allow me to ask you a few questions.

  1. Who are you trying to lose weight for?
  2. Who are you dressing to impress?
  3. Who’s attention are you trying to gain?
  4. Do you love yourself?
  5. Do you like yourself? (It is possible to love you but dislike you.)
  6. Are you happy with who you are?  (Understand it all starts from within.)
  7. Do the opinions of other people consume your thoughts?
  8. Are you addicted to the approval of family and friends?
  9. Can you obey God, even when no one else will?
  10. Are you bound by the mistakes of your past?

Beloved, if the church is not delivered, how can we help others experience deliverance?  Stop trying to be someone else and Love The Person In The Mirror!
