You Must Be Honest With Yourself!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever lived your life trying to make everyone around you happy?  You spent all of your energy attempting to make your friends and family members feel good about themselves.  As long as they were happy, you were happy.  Your personal life was secondary in comparison to the life of others.  Have you ever forsook your dreams and aspirations in order for someone else to experience the fulfillment of their dreams?  For some reason you felt your God-given assignment could be placed on hold until the next man’s goals were achieved?  Does this sound like you?  Are you the type of person who often gets stepped on by other people?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, You Must Be Honest With Yourself!  Until you confess how you really feel, how can you truly walk in the boldness of God?  It is important for you to understand something: The Lord wants us to be meek and humble, not a doormat that people wipe their feet on.  It is time for us to begin walking in total obedience unto the Lord.  Do you realize the enemy sends people into your life to cause destruction to take place?  Whatever it takes to keep you from standing firm on the promises of God, believe he will attempt it.  The Bible declares in Matthew 11:12 – And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

My brother, my sister, You Must Be Honest With Yourself!  Who in your life keeps you from walking in the fullness of God?  Who do you spend your time pampering?  Who do you bend over backwards to satisfy, even when they verbally attack you?  You can care about the feelings of others without allowing them to walk all over you.  It is time for you to stand up and speak out.  What’s keeping you from standing up for yourself?  Are you afraid?  Do you realize there are people God has anointed you to touch in this lifetime?  How can you do this if you continue to allow people, places and things to hinder you?  Beloved, the Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD

Scripture Reading for Today: Romans 8:31

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
