The devil Is Defeated!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  One of the greatest discomforts I have in life is seeing Christians living their lives as if Jesus Christ never died for them.  So often we give so much credit and authority to the devil until we mentally and spiritually weaken ourselves.  Even when the enemy is not responsible for something, we find a reason to give him the credit.  Do you realize the Lord JESUS Christ is greater than the devil?  Do you realize Jesus is not afraid of him?  Just because something is chaotic to you does not mean it is chaotic to The Lord.  How we view things and how The Lord sees things are totally different.  Until we totally surrender ourselves to The Lord and submit our wills to His, we will always find ourselves fighting a battle that Jesus already won.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, The devil Is Defeated!  No matter what lies he continues to speak in your ears, he is a defeated foe.  As mentioned yesterday, we must understand the work of Jesus is a complete work.  For you to continue living a depressed, defeated, and down-graded life means you do not believe Jesus out-powered the devil.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 2:9-14 – But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he (Jesus) might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

My brother, my sister, what more must I say other than …
