God’s Love is Unconditional!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  You know God is so faithful to each one of us.  In spite of our unfaithfulness toward Him, He always remains faithful to each one of us.  Think about the many mistakes you have made.  Think about the sins you have committed.  Think about the places you were, the people you were with, and the things you were doing.  We never deserved the Lord’s love or grace.  We were consciously doing wrong, but He still spared our lives.  He still forgave us.  He still pardoned our sins.  Have you ever known someone who loved to bring up your past?  Every chance (s)he had, (s)he would tell everyone about the things you use to do, the places you use to visit, and the people you use to hang with.  This is a person who fails to realize the blood of Jesus has remitted all your sins … not some.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  There will be times when we wonder if anyone understands what we are going through.  There will be times when we question the love and friendship of our peers.  There will be times when we wonder how genuine the people around us really are.  While these times will come, never question how much the Lord really loves you.  My friend, God’s Love is Unconditional!  The Bible declares in John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  Outside of the Lord, who else do you know would give their only Son to die for you?  Who do you know that would give their Own life for you?  This love of God’s cannot be compared to anything or anyone.  Do you realize God gave Jesus to endure the cross for a people (you and me) that did not deserve it?

My brother, my sister, why are you acting like you deserved a second chance?  Why are you acting so self-righteous?  Why are you behaving proud and boastful?  We do not deserve what the Lord sacrificed for us, but He did it anyway.  Beloved, God’s Love is Unconditional! Unconditional means in spite of the condition things will not change.  The Bible declares in Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Man’s love for us is based on conditions.  The conditions have to be right and remain right in order for them to love you.  God’s love does not change even when the conditions change.  You may wander away from Him, but when you sincerely cry out to Him you will find that same love restoring you again.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for Your unconditional love toward me.  I have not always been faithful, but You have.  I Love You because You first loved me.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: 1 John 4:12

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
