Wait For Instructions!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever grown impatient with life and the pace it was taking?  For some reason you wanted things to move faster and come sooner.  You know patience is a virtue.  You know God is up to something.  You know what God has planned for you is better than what you currently see.  However, over time you find yourself growing frustrated with the way things are going.  Other people around you tend to receive their blessings right after they pray for them, but you wait weeks, months, and years to see the manifestation of your prayers (so you think).  Have you ever wondered why you have to wait all the time?  You are tired of being in the holding pattern.  You want a response now.  You want immediate answers to all your questions.  Have you been there?  Are you there now!

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I would love to tell you a specific date and time when your blessings will manifest, but I cannot.  I would love to tell you next up for overflow is you, but I cannot.  While I can decree a thing (Job 22:28), God is the One who brings all things to pass.  My friend, Wait For Instructions!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 40:31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  I know you are tired of waiting, but if you go forth without God’s permission you are operating in the flesh.  Everything that occurs will come because of your disobedience.  I know you hate waiting.  It can be boring and at times overwhelming, but if God requires it there must be a reason why.

My brother, my sister, are you trying to do something ahead of God?  Are you operating on your own accord or has the Lord instructed you?  Beloved, Wait For Instructions!  Just as you read the instructions before you build furniture and other equipment, so must you have instructions before moving forth.  The instructions God gives will keep you when family and friends neglect you.  These instructions will prepare you for whatever comes your way.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 30:18 – And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.  Child of God, slow down and receive from the Lord.  His instructions will guard your life and your destiny.  Prayer for Today: Father, give me the patience to wait on Your instructions.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Psalms 40:1, Ecclesiastes 7:8, Psalms 37:7
