What’s In Your Hand?

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you realize many people spend years of their lives not knowing where they are going and what they want to do?  Some of these people have college degrees in certain areas of expertise but their heart does not like that field.  Some of these people are related to you.  Some of these people live in your home.  Some of these people may even be you.  Do you realize God has a specific purpose for your life?  There’s a blueprint designed just for your life.  Be not deceived, the devil knows God is up to something.  He knows God has a great assignment for your life.  This is why he sends attacks your way.  The attacks are sent to detour and destroy you.  Even now, as you are reading this, you may be experiencing trouble on every hand.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Have you ever hated the job you were on but you knew it was unwise to quit?  Have you ever desired another car but you know it is not time yet?  Have you ever loved someone who did not feel the same way about you?  Have you ever wondered if you were the right person for the job?  If yes, you are in good company.  I must ask you the same question the Lord asked me.  My friend, What’s In Your Hand?  The Bible declares in Exodus 4:2  And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.  God has made provision for whatever need you are faced with today.  The assignments you are charged with, the responsibilities you are entrusted with, and the stewardship you are tasked with are all able to be fulfilled.

My brother, my sister, before the foundation of the world, God impregnated your spirit with everything you would need to make it.  He has anointed your hands to perform great works for Him.  He has personally selected you for such a time as this.  Beloved, What’s In Your Hand?  What has God given you but you are not using?  The Bible declares in Exodus 4:3 – And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:  It is time for you to put your hands to work for the glory of God.  Before you recognized the need, God anointed your hands for the work.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to see what You have anointed my hands to do.  Help me to put my hands to work for Your glory.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: John 14:12

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
