You Must Be On Guard!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  As your day begins to unfold and you prepare yourself for the tasks that await you, make sure you have equipped yourself with the proper attire.  Many times throughout our days the enemy sends attacks against us because he noticed open areas in our lives.  Sometimes we cover our ears from hearing negativity, our hands from touching cursed things, but we leave our eyes open to surroundings we know do not please the Lord.  We know God receives no glory in the midst of gossip and rumors, but we entertain the person who runs to us with the latest information.  Whether the news is true or false, you must learn how to guard your spirit from the plots of the enemy.  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you (1 Corinthians 3:16)?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister.  You are responsible for the way you treat your temple.  Some places you can no longer go.  Some people you can no longer surround yourself with.  Some things you can no longer engage in.  My friend, You Must Be On Guard!  You must do all you can to protect your spirit from hearing, seeing, receiving, or entertaining evil.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  You must place the entire armour of God on.  The area you leave exposed will be the same area the enemy attacks.  The area you take for granted will be the area that sin enters in.  God has been speaking to me about the level of treatment we issue to our bodies.  Gossip, rumors, lies, and demonic assaults contaminate the things of God.  You must do as the Bible declares in James 4:7 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

My brother, my sister, there’s nothing else to say but there is work to do.  Make up your mind to do what is necessary to protect the investment God has made in your life.  You Must Be On Guard!  Beloved, if you do not do it, who will?  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 10:12 – Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have received my warning.  Now I must obey the orders given.  I shall be on guard.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Ephesians 6:10-20

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
