The Times When Your Heart Hurts

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had your feelings hurt by someone you loved, adored, and admired?  If it came down to it you would do whatever it took to assist this person.  No matter how other people felt about this person you could always see the good inside.  What do you do when that person hurts you?  The person you entrusted with personal secrets.  The person you called your “best friend until the end.”  The person you often entertained at your home.  The person you considered your prayer partner.  Have you ever found yourself stuck between continuing the friendship and ending it?  Your flesh desires to hold on, but your spirit knows it is time to let go.  While you believe things can eventually change, you know where God is taking you this person is not a part of the package deal.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, how do you handle The Times When Your Heart Hurts?  Those times when internally you are breaking down and there appears to be no relief in sight.  Those times when you smile in everyone’s face but within you are screaming for someone, anyone to assist you.  Life has a way of throwing “hell storms” (not hailstorms) your way.  Life has a way of dropping you to your knees.  I have learned during the times when my heart hurts or has been hurt to do three things: 1.) I instantly pray to the Lord.  By praying. I am letting God know I have been wounded.  2.) I ask the Holy Spirit to help me!  By doing this I am sending a message that I need immediate help.  3.) I pray for the person who hurt me.  By doing this, I am able to start the healing process.  The Bible declares in Matthew 5:44 – But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

My brother, my sister, who hurt you?  Who left you wounded?  Was it a friend?  A family member?  A spouse or significant other?  Was it something you did to yourself?  In order for you to experience the full manifested healing God has for you, now is the time for you to be honest with yourself.  You have been hurt.  No longer can you nor should you act as if it did not hurt you.  It is time to let it out.  During The Times When Your Heart Hurts, allow God to do spiritual surgery on you first.  The Bible declares in Luke 6:27 – But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.  Today is your day to start healing.  Beloved, the healing can start right where you are.  My Prayer For You Today: Father, allow my brother/sister to be honest with himself/herself.  At that point, begin to heal him/her from the root.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Matthew 22:44

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
