It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. How often do you stop and think about all the Lord has done for you? How often do you meditate on the goodness of the Lord? How often do you testify to others about the many things God has done for you? How often do you reminisce about the mistakes you have made and how God continues to give you additional chances? How often do you think and then thank the Lord? So often in our lives we spend most of our energy on matters that should not get much attention. We spend more time gossipping about folks instead of encouraging them. We spend time judging others instead of praying for them. Do you realize out of all the things you have done wrong, the Lord still desires to use you? There’s someone, somewhere, in need of your testimony. All that God brought you out of is not for you alone, but to strengthen someone else.
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Many times people remain in hiding until after God has delivered them from what they’re going through. No, no! Even in the midst of what you are going through God still wants you to witness to others. No you are not perfect, but you should still be a witness of His goodness. We are all still here because the Lord has seen fit to allow it. Now is not the time for a pity party. Now is not the time to give the devil credit. Now is not the time to run in fear. Now is the time for you to stand boldly and speak the Word of God. Now is the time to testify about the goodness of Jesus. The Bible declares in Luke 19:40 – And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. My friend, Now Is The Time and This Is The Place!
My brother, my sister, why are you keeping the goodness of God to yourself? Why are you allowing the world or the things of the world to keep you from proclaiming the promises of God? If God has been good to you, why not tell someone? The Bible declares in 1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Beloved, we have made a lot of mistakes. We have been places we should not have been. We have done things we should not have done. We’ve had traps set for us that the Lord exposed just in time. Now Is The Time and This Is The Place! God has you right where He wants you. You can run no more. You can no longer do things your way. It is time for you to put up or shut up. What will it be? My Prayer for You Today: Father, I pray that my brother/sister will realize how good You have been for him/her? I pray (s)he will not give up but get up, in the name of Jesus … Amen!
