It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever found yourself stuck between a rock and a hard place? At this current point in your life you are stuck between two opinions. Both sound good but you do not know which one to choose between. If you commit to one, there is a chance it may be the wrong one. What do you do? How do you handle this situation? Have you ever had people wanting to always give you advice? “If it were me …” is the familiar line you always hear. Out of no where you have advice specialist wanting to tell you what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. With a concern of disappointing others, you endure each person’s advice. Have you ever been there? Are you there now?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Do you realize while God has blessed each of us with family and friends, He never meant for any of them to replace Him in your life? No matter how wonderful the advice sounds, if it does not line up with the Will of God you need not commit to it. Often times we make the mistake of allowing others to force our hand. Through their manipulations and intimidations we give in. Understand this, any person who tries to force you to do anything is a witch (working for the devil.) Any person who loves you and loves the Lord Jesus Christ should never try to force their will or advice on you. My friend, What You Need Comes From Above! The Bible declares in Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Before you say ‘yes’ to it, you need to make sure God has given His nod of approval.
My brother, my sister, what decision are you preparing to make? What question needs an answer right away? Have you taken the time to consult the Lord about it? If yes, have you waited to receive an answer? If no, what are you waiting on? Beloved, please understand, God is our Father and in being our Father, He desires to commune and fellowship with His children. The Bible declares in John 4:23 – But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Child of God, What You Need Comes From Above! No one else has what you need but the Lord. I do not care how many promises people make, no one else has what you need but the Lord. Seek Him now! Prayer for Today: Father, I need Your help in __________. Please tell me what to do. In Jesus name … Amen!
