You Are The Righteousness of God!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  There are times in each of our lives when we find ourselves in the middle of a dilemma.  There’s pressure coming from both sides.  No matter what you decide to do someone will be upset with you.  While you desire to please everyone you know it is impossible.  The person on the right expects you to take their side.  The person on your left is convinced you will take their side.  What do you do?  Have you ever found yourself in this position.  Maybe you are stuck between a spouse and your family.  Maybe it is your job and your joy?  Could it be your vision and your doubters.  While everyone reading this may not be in the middle of a dilemma, rest assure you will experience it.  The more you strive to be like Jesus, the more you will experience attacks.  Keep striving!

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  The attacks will come from people, while you’re visiting places, and/or while you’re enjoying things.  Before you committed your life and heart to the Lord, there were no pressures.  Everyone was pleased with you.  They knew what to expect from you and when to expect it.  You were systematic in whatever you did.  Now that you operate in obedience and in faith, people always want to talk about you.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?  My friend, come what may … You Are The Righteousness of God!  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 5:21 – For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  In being the righteousness of God, you must be able to make righteous decisions without worrying about your reputation.  You must be able to stand for and on the Word of God no matter what people say about you.  You must be trustworthy and full of integrity.

My brother, my sister, many people claim to be God’s child, but their daily walk does not compliment their words.  To be righteous is a lifestyle not a Sunday morning performance.  This must be you and you must be it.  Wherever you go, people should notice something different about you.  You should never lead the gossip in your office and then want to quote scriptures.  Beloved, You Are The Righteousness of God!  There are certain things you cannot nor should not be doing.  The Bible declares in 1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.  As you go today, make sure you are speaking and living the same thing … Christ!  Prayer for Today: Father, help us remain righteous before you.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: 2 Corinthians 5:17

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
