Have You Stopped Pursuing?

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever felt like giving up on life and all the demands that come with it?  After all you have done it still seems as though things have not gotten better for you.  You treat everyone well but storms still knock on your door.  You pray for those who despitefully use you, yet the attacks continue to mount against you.  You always offer words of encouragement to those around you, but when you need them the most there are no words coming your way.  Have you ever wondered why you keep going when everyone else has given up?  When you started out you were surrounded by people and things.  As the journey continued many people did not.  You went from being in the crowd to being all alone.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I know how it feels to want to give up on your ministry, your life, your goals, and your future.  I know how it feels to have more questions than answers, more problems than solutions, and more haters than supporters.  Quitting is easy but fighting can be very difficult at times.  In spite of these times I also know how it feels to know God has not forgotten about me.  The same God who keeps me on His mind, is the same God who keeps you on His mind.  My friend, Have You Stopped Pursuing?  Have you allowed the cares of life to weigh you down.  The Bible declares in Philippians 3:13 – Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with today?  What dilemma do you find yourself in the midst of?  Have you allowed your job, your bills, your enemies, your family members, and friends to overwhelm you?  Beloved, no matter how awful things appear at this point in your life, you must not lose your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is during the tough times of life that you will see the hand of God moving on your behalf.  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Have You Stopped Pursuing?  Have you thrown in the towel?  Have you walked away from the assignment God anointed you for?  If so, repent and return.  If you are thinking about it, seek first the kingdom of God.  If no, hold on things will turn for the better.  Prayer for Today: Father, please help me hold on when things become hectic.  Help me see You in everything.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Ecclesiastes 7:8

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
