Gratitude Should Be Your Attitude!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you realize this is the day the Lord has made?  Do you realize you are still alive?  Do you realize many people would love to be in your place today?  You may not have all the money and possessions you long to have.  You may not have the fancy things you desire to purchase.  Your job may not be all it appears to be.  Your marriage may not be as loving as others think it is.  Whatever the case may be, there are still people who would love to be in your place.  There are people who would love to have a little money in their pocket instead of having to beg from others.  There are people who would love to have your home or your apartment instead of sleeping in parks and shelters.  There are people who would love to drive the car you complain about instead of walking everywhere they go.  There are people who would love to have the job you hate instead of experiencing unemployment.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  There are so many people who sit back and see how blessed you are.  There are so many people who thank God for blessing you.  Do you see how blessed you are?  Do you thank God for the way He blesses you?  My friend, Gratitude Should Be Your Attitude!  The Bible declares in Psalms 100:4 – Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.  It matters not how much you count, but that you appreciate what you do have.  The Lord has been faithful to each one of us.  We are nowhere near perfect.  If the truth were told, we have done more wrong than right.  But for some reason He continues to bless each of us.  Could it be possible that the one thing keeping you from the overflow you diligently pray for is your attitude?

My brother, my sister, Gratitude Should Be Your Attitude!  Think how you would feel if your children or spouse or friends always begged from you and when they received what they wanted they walked away.  How would you feel?  Imagine how God feels when we only call Him during our times of grief and despair.  The Bible declares in Psalms 118:8 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.  Beloved, I do not want to lose anyone or anything before I realize God has been good to me.  How about you?  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to begin carrying myself with an attitude of gratitude.  Forgive me for never thanking You for everything, including the little things.  In Jesus name … Amen!

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
