Go Tell It!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, each one of us have endured trying times in our lives.  Every day has not been a bed of roses.  We have lost several loved ones along the way.  We have endured nights where we wet our pillows with tears.  We have experienced close friends walking out of our lives.  We’ve had people tell us we would never be able to recover from the blow life hit us with.  Some have overcome marital infidelities.  Some have bounced back from financial hardships and the deep hole of debt.  No matter what it was, we all have experienced something that caused us to drop to our knees.  With all of this in mind, this morning’s devotional is my challenge to you.

Beloved, it is time for us, as children of the Most High God, to open our mouths and tell of the Lord’s goodness.  It is time for us to, Go Tell It!  Tell what you might ask?  It is time for us to tell others how faithful the Lord has been to each one of us.  We have overcome, not because we were “so good” or “so holy,” but because the Lord brought us out.  Do you realize there are people around you who are currently experiencing what God brought you out of?  The Bible declares in Revelation 12:11 – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  Do you realize the more we testify about where the Lord brought us from, the more glory, honor, and praise we give to the Lord?  Somebody needs to here from you.  Someone needs to know there is hope.  Someone needs to hear that God still hears and answers prayer.

My friend, Go Tell It!  Go tell everyone, everywhere what Lamentations 3:22 states:  It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.  Prayer for Today: Father, wherever You send me, I will tell others about Your excellent power.  I will tell others about Your faithfulness toward mankind.  Here am I Lord, send me!  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Matthew 28:19-20

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
