Point to Remember: You’re not exempt from the pains of life. You’re not exempt from shedding tears. You’re not exempt from wanting to hide. You’re not exempt from feeling like life has dealt you a bad hand. You’re not exempt from the pain of disappointment. You’re not exempt from being betrayed by family or friends. You’re not exempt from having your heart broken. You’re not exempt from losing friends or losing hope. You’re not exempt from wondering if God has forgotten about you. Beloved, you’re not exempt but even in the midst of it all, you can still find joy. Joy is an inward assurance that provides an outward insurance. Joy is the satisfaction of knowing everything is going to be alright. Joy is knowing The Lord can and He will.
