Point to Remember: It’s easy to hold on to anger. It’s easy to seek revenge. It’s easy to maintain a grudge against the person who did wrong against you. It’s easy to think evil toward the people who tried to ruin you. It’s easy to withhold forgiveness from those who seek to be forgiven. However, beloved, while it may be easy it does not mean it’s healthy or pleasing to The Lord. Forgiveness is commanded upon us because it’s given to it. Forgive others because you know you need forgiveness yourself. And there should be no one, nowhere, nor anything anywhere that you allow to keep you from receiving from The Lord that which you need.
