Point to Remember: No matter what the people tell you. No matter how awesome you think you are. No matter how impressed by yourself you become. No matter how loud the crowd cheers for you. No matter how pious you behave publicly and privately. No matter who knows your name or your reputation. No matter how charismatic you are. None of it matters when it comes to The Lord using you. Pride is destructive but humility is a sign to The Lord that He can trust you. It’s a sign that you will not steal the glory that belongs to Him, and Him alone. When you’re walking in pride, you’re being used as a pawn by the the devil. he’ll have you think you’re greater than, when in actuality you’re misled and deceived. If you bow before The Lord, He’ll empower you to stand before any man.
