It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Are you the type of person who gets comfortable in every place you go? No matter where you are, people have to convince you to get up and move. Are you the type of person who operates within a small box? Because of fear and a lack of faith, you stay within the comfort of your four walls (the box). Are you the type of person who depends upon the opinions of others? Whatever they say about you determines how you respond. Are you a leader or a follower? (At times, there’s nothing wrong with following, but you must know when it is time to lead.) Have you ever attempted to avoid a Godly move because your “friends” were not able to go with you? Have you ever walked away from an open door because people discouraged you?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Lately you have been asking God for many things. Because of dissatisfaction on your job, you have asked God for another one. Because of the lack of appreciation where you are, now you desire to go in a different direction. Because of setbacks in your life, now you desire to follow the Lord’s lead. As a result of idol speaking by friends, you have asked God to separate you. My friend, Are You Really Ready To Move? Often times we make decisions because it sounds like the right thing to say at that time. While it may impress others, it does not impress God. God sees your heart and He knows when you are sincere (1 Samuel 16:7). The Bible declares in Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Are You Really Ready To Move? Are you sincere in your gestures? There will come times when people will try to knock you off base. The enemy will attack you any chance he gets.
My brother, my sister, Are You Really Ready To Move? Are you really sincere? Beloved, if God were to give you what you are currently asking Him, would you be ready to receive it? So often in life we pray for open doors and showers of blessings, but we never position ourselves to receive. The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 – For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. If what you are asking God for will bring honor to Him, He will not withhold it from you. Are You Really Ready To Move? Are you really ready for the next level? Are you prepared for the new assignment? Remember, God knows the truth, do you? Dear friend, think about the things you are asking God for in your life, are they selfish request or for the glory of God (Colossians 3:23)? Prayer for Today: Father, I know you are all-seeing, all-knowing and all-powerful. Prepare me today for the next move, in Jesus’ name … Amen!
