It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself in a dilemma?  Your will versus God’s will?  You wanted to do something God said not to do?  You wanted to go somewhere God said do not?  It’s very hard to handle, especially when you refuse to submit to the Lord.  So often in our lives our desires do not complement God’s Word.  It sounds like a wonderful idea, but we know it is not of God.  You feel stuck.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  As a child of God, it is very important that we seek our Father’s approval.  Many times what we see [naturally] differs from what the Lord sees for us [spiritually].  We see nice cars, nice homes, nice looking people, but we never see destruction.  We never realize how priceless our peace is until it is gone.  Now you are in a dilemma.  Your will versus God’s will.  In your current position, you need to stop and say, “Lord, I Need Guidance!  The Bible declares in Psalms 37:23 – The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.  In your life, the dilemma is not as bad as you think it is.  It can all change instantly.  How?  You must be willing to submit and surrender your will to the Lord’s will.  Always know, your will can never be superior to God’s will.

My brother, my sister, release yourself to the Lord.  Begin to pray, Lord, I Need Guidance!  I need help with my life.  I need you to guide my every step. The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:9 – A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.  You can have your life planned out in increments.  You can establish five-year goals for yourself.  You can declare your own major(s) in college.  You can date the person you think you want to marry.  But you must always know one important thing, if it is not the Lord’s will, change will definitely take place.  Lord, I Need Guidance!  I am going in the wrong direction.  Help Me!  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 2:21 – For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:   Thought to Remember: Let God lead and you follow.
