It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had to recover from a broken heart?  After loving someone with your whole heart, (s)he broke it into pieces.  After loving something so dearly, you lost it.  After giving your all to this person or this thing, now you find yourself trying to pick up and move on.  Currently, moving on appears so hard to do.  You know you need to but doing it is harder than people think.  Have you ever had someone betray your love and friendship?  Out of all the people to betray you, never did you imagine it would be this person.  Never would it be the person you told your deepest secrets too.  Never would it be the person who consoled you during the worse moments in your life.  Never would it be the person who introduced you to your spouse or significant other.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Until you have had your heart broken, you will never understand how God is able to mend it.  Until this world disappoints you, you will never understand God’s faithfulness.  Just when you thought you could not go on any longer, the Lord intervened.  Just when you thought you would never smile again, the Lord intervened.  Just when you thought your family member’s death would tear you down, the Lord intervened.  Do you not understand God is able to do what man cannot?  Just because you see the situation as never-changing, does not mean it is.  We see what things look like now but the Lord sees how it will be when He’s done with it.  My friend, Place It In The Lord’s Hands!  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 5:7 – Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

My brother, my sister, what are you going through at this point in your life?  What dilemma do you find yourself dealing with?  How bad has the situation become?  Have you lost the faith to believe our God can make it work together for your good (Romans 8:28)?  I know how it feels to lose hope in any changes taking place.  I know how it feels to become so familiar with failure and hell, until success and abundance appear impossible.  I know how it feels to throw your hands after you have had enough.  BUT (this means it is not over), I also know how it feels to have the Lord step in right before you break down.  Beloved, Place It In The Lord’s Hands!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  No matter what you think or how you feel, our God can turn this thing around.

Scripture Reading for Today: Jeremiah 29:11
