James 4:7 (NLT) – “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Point to Remember: Avoid the temptation to get puffed up. Avoid the trap of pride. Avoid the lie of thinking you’re untouchable. Avoid the ego of believing your own headlines. Avoid the mistake of surrounding yourself with people who only celebrate you but are not empowered to correct you. Beloved, the devil will do all he can to deceive you with arrogance and conceit. he will work hard to entangle you with plans to steal, kill, and destroy you. However, The Lord will always take care of His children. When you understand it all starts and ends with The Lord, then it should not be hard for you (or me) to walk in humility. We are benefactors of The Lord’s blessings not generators of the blessings. Resist every lie and attempt of the devil.
