It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever found yourself feeling overwhelmed by life and all of the demands that come along with it? It appears as if everyday there is more and more pressure to deal with. From the time you wake up in the morning, until the time you lay your head down at night, there’s trouble on every side. Job says it best in Job 14:1 – Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. Have you ever had to deal with the punches life throws at you? Just when you thought you were getting back on your feet, WHAM something else happens. Just when you thought things where on the uphill, that one phone call comes in. Just when your family members and friends began to believe things could get better, you get a call from your doctor’s office. After all of this, you find yourself saying, “Lord, what is going on?” “Lord, why me?” Have you ever been there? Are you there now?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Have you ever found yourself hanging on by a wing and a prayer? Have you ever found yourself pressed against the wall? Have you ever found yourself in need of a financial breakdown by close of business? Have you ever needed to make an immediate decision but you knew the outcome would be detrimental. You felt if one more thing went wrong, you would lose your mind. My friend, are you On The Brink Of A Breakdown? Are you on the brink of throwing in the towel? Are you on the brink of giving up on yourself and life? Are on the verge of quitting. The Bible declares in Philippians 1:6 – Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
My brother, my sister, this prayers for you:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for the person reading today’s devotional. Lord, they’re dealing with a situation that only you can fix. Help them now to hold on to Your Word and Your promises. Help them to see You in the midst of the storm. In the name of Jesus, allow them to realize You are a very present help in the time of trouble. Let them know Your report is greater than any doctor’s report or credit report. Let them know when everyone counts them out, they can count on You. Master, give him/her peace in his/her mind and strength for the journey. In the name of Jesus … Amen!
