It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever found yourself faced with a difficult decision to make? Have you ever felt forced to lie? How did it make you feel? Are you currently living a lie to spare someone’s feelings? So often in our lives we place ourselves in the midst of difficult dilemmas. We know the difference between right and wrong, but we choose wrong to keep friendships alive. On the job, in the home, at the church, in the classroom, or within, we attempt to avoid the truth for fear of rebellion. Have you been there? Are you there now?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, Do The Right Thing! You know what you must do. You know what the Lord requires of you. The Bible declares in Matthew 5:6 – Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. The enemy attempts to make doing right seem so wrong. You find yourself around people who encourage you to avoid the right things. Within your spirit you know what you must do, but you work hard to avoid doing it. Do The Right Thing! The Bible declares in Psalms 1:6 – For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. How much longer will you deceive yourself? How much longer will you live in bondage to reality? When you are doing what is right, the enemy will try to make you feel guilty. Be not ashamed!
My brother, my sister, are you living in disobedience to the Word of God? Are you operating in hypocrisy? Do The Right Thing! The Bible declares in Matthew 23:28 – Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. It is important for us, as Believers, to live a life that brings glory, honor, and praise to the Lord. There will be people who will not agree with us. There will be places you cannot enter anymore. There will be things you must let go. Do The Right Thing! When you think about it, only Jesus died for you. He endured the suffering for us. We owe Him a life that pleases Him. We must follow the examples Christ set for us. He has not led us into unrighteous acts. The Bible declares in Psalms 23:3 – … He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Do The Right Thing!Thought to Remember: None but the righteous shall see God!
