Every Entrée Requires Good Ingredients!

Friday, April 28th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you the type of person that gives up on your dreams and goals real easy?  At the sight of trials and tribulations, do you easily surrender to the opposition?  When family and friends do not support your aspirations, do you give up on the plan of God for your life?  So often in our lives, we expect the blessings without anticipating the challenges.  The enemy will never allow you to receive or enjoy the blessings of God without doing what he can to hinder you.  Yes the promises of God will come to pass in your life.  You can rest upon God’s promises.  However, between the promise and the fulfillment, will always be a process.  It is during the process that the enemy sends everything and everyone against you.  It is during the process that makes the fulfillment seem uncertain.  If you lose sight of the fulfillment while experiencing the process, the enemy has won.  It is during the process that you must trust God and depend upon His strength and guidance.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  During the process of your life, you must understand the importance of God in your life.  Many people celebrate the victory with you, but they do not endure the training.  My friend, Every Entrée Requires Good Ingredients!  We tend to forget several important ingredients that are needed to make the best entrée.  The first ingredient is God.  You cannot build, plant, sow or expect without having a foundation based upon God.  No matter how hard you try, any man that builds a house without the Lord involved, that man labors in vain (Psalms 127:1).  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.   The second ingredient required is the Word of God.  You must apply God’s Word to every situation in your life.  Whether you think it is major or minor, you must apply God’s Word.  Do you not know that every big situation started out small?  The Bible declares in Psalms 119:105 - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

My brother, my sister,  Every Entrée Requires Good Ingredients!  The third required ingredient is prayer.  You must have a prayer life that goes beyond the traditional Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.  You must have a personal, intimate prayer life with the Father.  A prayer life that’s center around your desire to fellowship and commune with God.  The Bible declares in James 5:16 -  … The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  The fourth ingredient required is obedience.  After you have placed God first, applied His Word, talked to Him in prayer, now you must operate in obedience to whatever God tells you to do.  The Bible declares in 1 Samuel 15:22 - Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  There comes a time when you must walk in accordance to God’s commandments and instructions. Beloved, the entrée you desire to enjoy will come as a result of you following the ingredients in the order God instructs.  The blessings of God are predicated on your willingness to follow the ingredients.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank you for investing greatness within me.  I will do my best to apply the ingredients listed.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!   Until Monday …

Peace Into Your Mind!

Thursday, April 27th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Early this morning God spoke one thing to me and it is the same thing I have been commissioned to speak to you.  He said, I speak Peace Into Your Mind!  God knows what we are dealing with in our homes, within our marriages, within our ministry, our finances, on our jobs and with our family.  He knows how stressed and weary you are at this time.  He knows you need an answer to an immediate question.  He knows you are on the verge of quitting and breaking down.  He knows all of this about me and about you.  He knows, my friend, He knows!  Since He knows, I come to encourage you to be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Today, no matter what you are going through.  No matter how awful it feels.  No matter how impossible it appears.  No matter how stressed you feel.  No matter what the doctors have told you.  No matter what your eyes currently see or your ears currently hear.  No matter what your bank statement reads.  No matter what traps are set against you.  No matter what drama you face or dilemma you experience.  God has sent me this morning to declare one thing, …

Peace Into Your Mind!

Beloved, today rest in the assurance that God has not forgotten about you (Hebrews 13:5).  He has heard your cry (Psalms 40:1).  He has sent the solution before you recognized there was a problem.  Go forth in the peace that only God can supply.  Prayer for Today: Father, You know my current situation.  You know how I feel at this current moment.  I rest in Your care and protection.  Today, I walk in Your supplied peace.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Our God is The Awesome God!

Wednesday, April 26th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you realize God is able to do whatever He wants, when He wants and how He wants?  Do you realize God is not limited by our fears and insecurities?  Do you realize God is aware of you and your needs?  Do you realize God knew you before you knew you and momma and daddy knew each other?  Do you understand there is nothing too hard for God (Genesis 18:14)?  Many times in our lives, we tend to forget how Sovereign our God really is.  We often place God in the same category as ourselves.  We approach God as if He has limitations and weaknesses.  We pray to Him only when we feel He is able to do it.  While man is an imperfect being, God is perfect in every way.  There are no shortcomings or skeletons in God’s closet.  He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think of (Ephesians 3:20).  He is God.  He is Lord of all and in all.  He is before all things, in all things and the conclusion of all things.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Our God is The Awesome God!  He is not an awesome god, but He is THE Awesome God.  This means no one else is on His level.  There are no other gods or lords great as He.  The Bible declares in Revelation 17:14 - … for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.  The limitations we have limit us not God.  When you approach the throne room of God, you must come unto Him in belief and certainty.  You must know He can and He will.  You must be confident in God’s abilities.  No matter how horrific the situation appears, you must have an unwavering trust in the Lord.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  Our God is The Awesome God!  You will never find anything or anyone that can ever take His place.

My brother, my sister, your current situation is small potatoes to such a Great God.  The same dilemma that consumes your thoughts and robs you of your sleep, is the same dilemma God desires to free you from.  Whether you believe it or not, I know God specializes in things that appear impossible.  The Bible declares in Luke 18:27 - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.  Beloved, Our God is The Awesome God!  He is God that sits high, but looks low.  He knows your needs before you have need of them.  He’s so much God that He can send the solution before you realize there is a problem.  Who else can do such great things?  No one but our God.  Today, what are you dealing with?  What trial or tribulation do you find yourself faced with this morning?  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Child of God, never forget Our God is The Awesome God, He resigns from Heaven above with wisdom, power and love.  Our God is The Awesome GOD.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for being the AWESOME God in my life.  I know You can fix any problem and answer any prayer.  I honor and adore You.  Bless Your name.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!

Tuesday, April 25th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When was the last time you counted your blessings?  When was the last time you sat and thought about the faithfulness of God in your life?  When was the last time you thanked God for His present help in times of trouble?  When was the last time you looked back over your life and realized God kept you through dangers seen and unseen?  Many times in our lives, we become preoccupied with our daily agendas until we no longer have time (or make time) to spend with the Lord.  When things in our lives were chaotic and shattered into pieces, we remained in the face of God.  Every minute of every day we found ourselves going to God in prayer.  Now that everything is going well, our consistency has diminished.  We pray, but not as often.  We thank God, but only when something miraculous occurs in our lives.  The fire that once burned eternally, now flickers periodically.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  While everything appears wonderful in your life, did you accomplish this task by yourself?  While you are abundantly blessed, did you achieve this goal by yourself?  My friend, Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!  The Bible declares in Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Just because family members, friends and co-workers applaud you each day, should not cause you to forget how you got where you are now.  If the truth were told, you have made many mistakes that only God could free you from.  You have gone places you should not, been with people you should not and did things you should not.  In spite of it, the Lord rescued you from the snare of the enemy.  Do not think you are above rebuke.  If it had not been for the Lord on your side, you would have been swallowed up (Psalms 124:1-3).  Be careful to never allow the cheers of man to lead you away from the presence of God.  The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:18 - Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

My brother, my sister, Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!  It was not your nice salary, your wonderful spouse, your beautiful children, your awesome church, your big house or your never-ending wardrobe.  It was the Lord who brought you to this point in your life.  It was the Lord who put you in the position to receive the blessings you currently enjoy.  It was the Lord who poured His favor upon your life.  It was the Lord who looked beyond your faults and saw each of your needs.  The Bible declares in Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.   Beloved, everything you have is because of God.  Please do not deceive yourself.  Please do not think you deserved all of the great things God has given you.  To the contrary.  We are recipients of God’s blessings, only because Jesus gave His life in our place.  Today, refocus yourself on the truth.  The truth is, everything that happened to you that was good … God did it.  Don’t Forget Who Brought You This Far!  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to always be mindful of Your provision and protection.  What I have is because of You.  What I enjoy is because of You.  Thank You for blessing me to bless others.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Are Blessed Like That!

Monday, April 24th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself apologizing to your family members and peers because God has abundantly blessed you?  Instead of others celebrating with you, they spent most of their time griping and moaning about God’s blessings in your life.  Have you ever found yourself trying to hide the blessings God has bestowed in your life?  You attempt to cover the new things God has granted unto you.  Because of fear of rejection you start hiding all of the many wonderful things God has given you.  Are you trying to appease everyone in your life?  Are you trying to make everyone like you and accept you?  Are you compromising the blessings of God in your life because family members and peers cannot handle how God is using you?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Do you realize how much God adores you?  He did not ask the committee before He blessed you.  He did not seek a 3/4 vote of approval before He chose you.  God is the majority by Himself.  He does not require man’s nod of acceptance.  You have what you have because God chose to do it for you.  Stop apologizing to others because they cannot handle what God is doing in and for you.  You Are Blessed Like That!  The Bible declares in John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.  You are exceedingly blessed because God hand-selected you for such a time as this.  It was no mistake.  God did not accidentally choose you.  Your past short-comings were not hidden from the Lord when He chose you.  You are blessed because God saw fit to bless you.

My brother, my sister, why do you spend your time trying to explain God’s mighty acts in your life?  Why do you concern yourself with the opinions of others when it comes down to the work God is doing through you?  You Are Blessed Like That!  The Bible declares in Genesis 12:3 - And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.  Beloved, you are a chosen vessel of God.  He placed something awesome within you.  It matters not what others say or think about you.  For every person who rejects you, there will be many who will receive you.  You are blessed by the hand of God.  Remember these important words: God has blessed you so you can bless others.  This is why God has blessed you.  He blessed you because He knew you would turn and bless others.  A selfish person will never fully receive from the Lord.  What you have is not just for you to keep to yourself.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 9:6 - But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

There Is Work For You To Do!

Friday, April 21st, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Where are you at this point in your life?  Are you entering a storm, in the middle of a storm or exiting a storm?  Are you seeking deliverance or have you been delivered?  Are you a person who easily worries or quickly runs to God for guidance?  Are you experiencing financial difficulties or reaping a bountiful harvest?  Many times in our lives, it is important for us (you) to always know where we are in life.  It is important for us (you) to know what areas of our lives still require supernatural intervention and what areas God has charged us to work on.  While God is able to fix every problem in our lives, He will also require each of us (you) to do our part.  As it has been said before, “God is Alpha and Omega but you must work the middle.  He is the first and the last, but you must work the middle.”  Today, what area of your life has God told you to work on?  Are you doing what you have been told?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, in this life we will have trials and tribulations.  We will experience betrayal and deception.  We will find ourselves in positions of discomfort and disbelief.  In spite of it all, There Is Work For You To Do!  While God is aware of all that occurs around you, He still has charged you to get to work.  The excuses we give to man will not work with God.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  As the workmanship of God, He knows  everything He has placed within us.  No sob stories will work on God.  No sympathetic lines will cause God to change the assignment He has given you.  If the truth were told, everything you attempt to use to prevent working, God can and will use to strengthen you for the work.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:27 - But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

My brother, my sister, There Is Work For You To Do!  It is no accident that God has you on that job, at that church, living in that neighborhood, or related to that family.  He has impregnated you with the abilities needed.  No longer should you worry yourself about God’s abilities.  He will take care of the beginning and the end, but it is your responsibility to work the middle.  The Bible declares in Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Beloved, whatever God has spoken … do it.  Whatever God has told you to work on … do it.  Whatever God has anointed you for … do it.  There Is Work For You To Do!  There are lives you will touch because God has orchestrated the events.  Your current dilemma is not to make you bitter but better.  God specializes in things that are impossible.  Walk in the assignment God has for your life and watch what He does through you. Prayer for Today: Father, I realize there is work for me to do.  You have charged me with a great assignment.  Strengthen me to obey and fulfill the assignment.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Can Weather The Storm!

Thursday, April 20th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  There comes a time in each of our lives when our comfort zones are challenged.  A time when everything you trusted begins to crumble all around you.  A time when everyone you counted could not be counted on.  There comes a time when the knowledge you learned in school and the networking you have done in the work field cannot rescue you from the attacks of the enemy.  A time when the only thing that can protect you is the intervention and provision of God.  A time when a bachelors, Masters or PhD does not matter to your adversary.  Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a storm and you could not understand how it happened?  As time went on you begin to see and notice your surroundings becoming darker and foggier.  Your surroundings went from sunny days and joyous events, to dark days and confused events.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Do you realize the enemy does not like you?  he does not care about you or your family.  he desires to sift you out like wheat.  Just when you thought everything was getting better in your life, it is then that he sends an attack against you.  When you were over-joyed by a recent announcement or potential fulfillment of a promise, it is then that he sends an attack against you. My friend, in spite of all the enemy sends your way … You Can Weather The Storm!  You can overcome any and every thing he sends your way.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:37 - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.  God has impregnated your spirit with the power and anointing to overcome any storm in your life.  God has placed everything you need in the palm of your hand.  Just as God spoke to Moses, today He is speaking to you.  What do you have in your hand (Exodus 4:2)?

My brother, my sister, You Can Weather The Storm!  God would not allow the storm to continue if He knew you were not equipped to weather it.  What is a storm?  storm is a disturbance of the atmosphere marked by wind and usually by rain, snow, hail, sleet, or thunder and lightning; a serious disturbance of any element of nature; a disturbed or agitated state; a sudden or violent commotion.  Today, what disturbance are you experiencing in your life?  What sudden commotion has occurred against you today?  The Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.  You Can Weather The Storm!  Child of God, before you throw in the towel to surrender, understand God has not forsaken you (Hebrews 13:5).  In your current state God is still able to keep you from falling (Jude 1:24).  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for equipping me to weather the storms that arise against me.  I Love You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

I Declare Peace In Your Life!

Wednesday, April 19th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently going through trying times in your life?  Maybe an experience that causes you to spend more time worrying and crying, than praying and rejoicing.  A time that attempts to steal your joy and rob you of your sleep.  Are you currently involved in turmoil on your job, in your home, at your church, with your finances, in your marriage or within your mind?  A situation that keeps you on the edge.  A situation that prevents you from believing everything can and will get better in your life.  Are you stuck between a rock and a hard place?  You find yourself wondering how in the world did I get in this position.  You find yourself questioning the outcome.  A stuck position that causes a strong man to struggle and a proud man to humble himself.  Can you relate to any of these questions?

This morning I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, I Declare Peace In Your Life!  I declare under the unction of the Holy Spirit of God that you shall not die but live.  Things may appear deadly and you may feel like quitting, but I speak life into your dead situation.  The Bible declares in Job 22:28 - Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.  No matter how awful things appear in your life, you are destined for greatness.  No matter how overwhelmed you feel during this hour, the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).  No matter how chaotic everything appears at this time, I Declare Peace In Your Life!   The Bible declares in Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

My brother, my sister, I do not know what you are going through in your life.  I do not know what attacks you fight off each day.  Honestly, I do not need to know.  In spite of what you face each day, I can still declare peace in your life.  I can declare peace because the Bible declares that we should speak those things that are not as if they were.  Beloved, I Declare Peace In Your Life!   I declare that the work God has assigned for your hands shall surpass all hell and likeness of it.  I declare that you will rise above any obstacles in your life and overshadow all traps set against you.  The Bible declares in John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.   Today, by the power invested in me through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, I Declare Peace In Your Life!   Prayer for Today: Father, I shall walk in the peace You promised to me.  Today, I shall allow Your peace to overtake me.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Simple Message From Above

Tuesday, April 18th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I have been given A Simple Message From Above!  Many of us have experienced trying times over the last months.  Death in the family, bad doctor reports, unemployment, times of loneliness, marital turmoil, ministerial difficulties, financial woes, emotional roller-coasters, betrayal of friends, rumors, lies and vicious assaults from the enemy.  There have been times when quitting appeared easier than holding on.  My friend, this morning God has commissioned me to tell you one important thing …

HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU!

He is aware of your past hurts, your current dilemmas and your future challenges.  He is aware of your weary days and tearful nights.  He is aware of your night seasons when you walk the floors in worry and anxiety.  He is aware of the unbelief you often fight off.  He is aware of your cry and your pleas.  He knows what you need, when you need it.  Beloved, …

HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU!

Today, I ask that you share this Simple Message From Above with as many people as you know.  We all need to know God has not forgotten about us. Whatever you stand in need of, God has it.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for reminding me that You have not forgotten about me.  I love You with my whole heart.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Watch and Pray!

Monday, April 17th, 2017

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been somewhere or around certain people and you noticed improper things taking place?  You wondered if someone would ever say anything about the situation.  You wondered if others were seeing what you saw.  It never crossed your mind that you could make a difference or a change.  Have you ever found yourself in the same situation over and over again?  Just when you escaped or vacated one matter, the very next matter brought the same challenges and attacks.  There were people speaking against you once again.  As soon as you recovered from the last assault, the enemy sent another rampage against you.  When 2016 drew to a conclusion, you vowed to stop doing what you were doing and start living in a way that was pleasing to God.  It is now four months into the new year, has your vow been kept?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, so many things take place day in and day out.  Your eyes see so many different things that sometimes no one else may see or notice.  There are times when you wonder if there’s anything you can do to make things better.  God has sent me here to tell you there is something you can do … Watch and Pray!  The Bible declares in Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  Understand one important thing: you are where you are for a purpose.  God has placed you on that job, in that home, in that class, at that church or within that organization for a specific reason.  Everyone cannot handle what God has equipped you to handle.  It makes no sense for you to call others and vent to them.  They cannot help you.  God has positioned each of us in certain places for certain times to perform certain tasks.

My brother, my sister, it is times for you to Watch and Pray!  The Bible declares in Mark 13:33 - Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.  Beloved, allow me to add this significant point in at this time.  Just because everything appears calm and under control does not mean you should stop watching and praying.  You need to always be on the wall looking ahead to spot any uproar(s) from the enemy.  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.  Child of God, where you are today, what tragedy has occurred?  What situation has you surrounded?  Are you praying for God’s will to be revealed or are you allowing the enemy to overtake everything and everyone?  Watch and Pray!  The Bible declares in James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  On this day, do not allow the enemy to catch you off your post.  Prayer for Today: Father, I am aware that You have me here for a specific reason.  Allow me to always remain watchful and prayerful.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!
