You Can’t Touch This!

Friday, December 30th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you often felt as though everyone was out to destroy you?  For some reason it appears as though everyone in your life has an alternate plan.  Have you ever been kicked while you were already down?  After receiving life changing news (negative report), someone comes and throws another blow at you.  Have you ever cried out for help and your peers begin to ignore or avoid you (Luke 10:31-33)?  When everything was going well, everyone was there.  Now that your are in serious need, the same people have exit the back door.  Many times the plans we have for our life never unfold the way we want them to.  The people you thought would always be there, are no longer around.  The things you grew to depend upon are now a vapor.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Life can be an interesting experience.  People can love you today and hate you by tomorrow.  Your finances can be awful today and overflowing tomorrow.  I have learned that things change, as well as people.  As a child of God, you have the one main component an unbeliever does not … Jesus!  As a result of this, you now have the ability to tell the enemy You Can’t Touch This!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.   The blessings God has for you cannot be withheld no matter what the enemy attempts to do.  The only person, place or thing that can hinder you from receiving what God has for you, is … you!  The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.   You Can’t Touch This!

My brother, my sister, what are you going through today?  What lie has the enemy spoken to you?  What trap has he set against you?  Tell that lying devil, You Can’t Touch This!  The Bible declares in Psalms 105:15 - Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.  Beloved, there’s a new level God wants to take you.  There are new dimensions God wants you to experience.  Understand, the enemy will continue to attack you but you have the ability to rebuke and renounce his powers.  The Bible declares in Matthew 16:19 - And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  You Can’t Touch This!  Dear friend, have you given up on life?  Have you thrown in the towel?  Is there anymore life in you?  I encourage you to get up and fight back.  Prayer for Today: Father, today I declare you are Lord of my life.  Since I know this, I tell the devil he cannot touch me, my family or what’s mine, in Jesus’ name … Amen!  Until Monday …

The Reason Why You Praise God

Thursday, December 29th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever wondered how you could have peace when everything around you was chaotic?  You were able to sleep knowing confusion was surrounding you (1 Corinthians 14:33).  Have you ever wondered why God continues to forgive you even though you continue to make mistakes (Romans 3:23)?  Each time you fall, He is there to pick you up again (Proverbs 24:16).  Have you ever wondered why God sent His only Son to bear the Cross of Calvary (Romans 5:8)?  Knowing all the wrong we committed, He still sent His Son to redeem mankind (John 3:16).  So often in our lives, we spend much of our time involved in activities that praise man but little time praising God.  We join clubs and organizations that look wonderful on our résumé.  We walk upright as though we achieved it all on our own.  We surround ourselves with people who “toot” our horn.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, no matter what the press reports about you, if it had not been for the Lord on your side the enemy would have destroyed you (Psalms 124:1-2).  Yes there will come times when people applaud you.  But there will also come a time when the same people will scorn you.  It is important for you to understand the reason why people praise you and The Reason Why You Praise God!  People praise you for what you have done for them, but we praise God for what He has done for us.  Man’s praise is conditional but God’s praise is mandatory.  The Bible declares in Psalms 150:6 - Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.  The blessings you enjoy today is a direct result of the God we serve.  When your family and friends could not help, it was the Lord who made a way.  When you stopped believing in yourself, it was the Lord who restored and encouraged you.  The Reason Why You Praise God, is because He has been good.

My brother, my sister, what are you faced with today?  What dilemma stands in your path?  What wall, in your life, do you need to fall?  There is power in your ability to praise the Lord in spite of what you hear or see.  The Bible declares in Psalms 34:1 - I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.  Your praise is continual.  Your praise is not circumstantial but eternal.  The Reason Why You Praise God, is because He deserves it.  Beloved, we worship the Lord for who He is, but we praise Him for all He has done.  Have you stopped, in the midst of your busy day, to give God praise for all He has done on your behalf?  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.   Dear friend, you cannot wait until you see the manifestation.  You must praise during your waiting period (it shows God how much you believe in Him).   Prayer for Today: Father, today I stop whatever I am doing at this time and I give you total praise.  You have been good to me and my family.  I appreciate you Lord.  Thank you, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Just Keep Smiling!

Wednesday, December 28th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been assaulted by the words of someone who does not know you?  They formed a judgment about you based on what someone told them.  Have you ever experienced lies and vicious rumors by a person you once held in high regard?  Because of jealousy or misunderstandings, you are now the victim of their attacks.  Have you ever found yourself trying to explain your side of a story to someone who considers you guilty?  No matter what you say or do, their opinion about you will not change.  Are you trying to befriend someone who speaks negative about you?  Have you ever walked away from a friendship because you knew it was the best thing to do?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Are you aware of the devilish attacks against you?  Can you discern a demon trying to destroy you?  The enemy is trying everything he possibly can to take you out (John 10:10).  If he cannot get you directly, he attempts to come through family or friends.  If by chance that does not work, he attacks through co-workers or situations.  In spite of all you may face, there’s one thing I want you to do … Just Keep Smiling!  Your ability to smile when the enemy is attacking upsets him.  The last thing he wants to see is a smile on your face.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 59:19 - So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.  Understand, a smile relays to the enemy that you know something he does not.  Just Keep Smiling!

My brother, my sister, what are you enduring today?  What dilemma are you faced with this morning?  What situation has you worried?  As a child of God you have the advantage against any attack or trap the enemy sends your way.  Beloved, you are chosen to live for the Lord.  The enemy realizes you do not belong to him, but do you?  Just Keep Smiling!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.  When ’hell’ arises on your job, Just Keep Smiling!  When confusion has occurred in your home, Just Keep Smiling!  When your ministry is mocked or ridiculed, Just Keep Smiling!  When the doctor walks away in doubt, Just Keep Smiling!  When no one else believes, Just Keep Smiling!  The smile you carry shows the Lord you still believe He can.  Prayer for Today: Father, I believe in you.  In spite of all that comes against me today, I will continue to smile in the face of the enemy because I know you can and you will.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

The Lord Is Your Shepherd!

Tuesday, December 27th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever cried out loud but no one could hear you?  The pain in your life was so horrible but no one seemed to notice.  Have you ever prayed for assistance from one of your friends or family members?  You wanted someone to come to your rescue.  Have you ever felt as though the drama in your life would eventually take you out?  Everyday brought a new test.  Have you ever cried yourself to sleep and woke up the next morning still crying?  For whatever reason, you could not stop crying.  Have you ever been upset and did not know why?  Are you walking around in a circle?  Do you need direction for your life?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Many times in our lives we find ourselves walking and running in place.  We often take the advice of our friends but it leads us in the wrong direction (at times).  We call our parents, our spouses, our pastors for their opinions never understanding God has the answer.  My friend, The Lord Is Your Shepherd!  The Bible declares in Psalms 23:1 - The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.  It is important for you to understand the role of a Shepherd.  (According to Webster) A Shepherd is one who guides and guards His sheep against attacks.  The Lord Is Your Shepherd!  He is the One who makes sure the enemy cannot destroy us.  The Bible declares in John 10:10-11 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.  It is the Lord who protects us from the tricks, traps and teases of the enemy.

My brother, my sister, what are you going through this morning?  Is the wolf (enemy) attempting to enter your pasture?  Have you wandered away from the Shepherd?  Beloved, The Lord Is Your Shepherd!  He is here to restore you back to the sheep-fold.  There have been times when we have gone astray (Romans 3:23).  There have been times when we thought we knew everything (Romans 1:28).  But in spite of the sin you have committed, if you repent of your wrongdoing, God will place you back in position.  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 2:25 - For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.  The Lord Is Your Shepherd!  No matter what lie the enemy (wolf) has whispered in your ears.  Remember this, the wolf cannot enter the pasture unless the Shepherd gives him permission.  Prayer for Today: Father, you are the Shepherd of my life.  I know you guide and guard me against every wolf (enemy) who attempts to devour me.  Today, help me stay in the sheep-fold, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Your Daily Bread!

Monday, December 26th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever attempted to do the same thing, the same way everyday?  Since it worked before, you expect it to continue working.  Have you ever tried to carry old friends into your new destiny?  Now that God has moved you into a new realm, you try to bring all of your friends along.  (There are some places God will take you that friends and family cannot go.)  Have you ever lost a good friendship or relationship because you were committed to the will of God?  Your peers wanted you to compromise what you believe in for what the world is offering.  So often in our lives we find ourselves trying to hold on to everything from our past.  As God attempts to move you further along, you attempt to move your friends with you.  You refuse to go unless they go.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, there are some places everyone cannot go.  There are some things everyone cannot do.  There are some ideas everyone cannot handle.  What you use to do may not work today.  Yesterday’s substance may not work for today’s hunger.  For where God is taking you, He will give you new revelation.  He desires to give you … Your Daily Bread!  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:11 - Give us this day our daily bread.  Yesterday’s bread does not matter. God desires to give you nourishment you need to make it through today.  What God gave you yesterday was for yesterday’s journey.  It worked for time frame it was designed for.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 43:18 - Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  God wants you to enjoy Your Daily Bread!  He wants you to enjoy the ‘manna’ He created for today.

My brother, my sister, what are you trying to carry into your promised land?  Who are trying to keep by your side?  Are you trying to give life to a dead thing?  Beloved, God desires for you to be free from the burdens of yesterday.  He wants you to be able to live, move and operate freely without carrying the baggage from your past.  He wants you to enjoy Your Daily Bread!  The Bible declares in Exodus 16:15 - And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.  God has designed what you need, when you need it.  Your Daily Bread!  He has what you have been thinking about.  The thing you often pray for, He has it.  There’s only one person that keeps you from receiving what He has for you … you!  You have to let go of your past mistakes, failures, and disappointments.  Dear friend, the fact God has given you Your Daily Bread, is a testimony that He is not through using you.  Prayer for Today: Father, you are God of all and in all.  Whatever I need to make it through today, you have created for me.  Today, I receive my daily bread, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Are You Really Ready To Move?

Friday, December 23rd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you the type of person who gets comfortable in every place you go?  No matter where you are, people have to convince you to get up and move.  Are you the type of person who operates within a small box?  Due to fear and a lack of faith, you stay within the comfort of your four walls (the box).  Are you the type of person who depends upon the opinions of others?  Whatever they say about you determines how you respond.  Are you a leader or a follower?  (At times, there’s nothing wrong with following, but you must know when it is time to lead.)  Have you ever attempted to avoid a Godly move because your “friends” were not able to go with you?  Have you ever walked away from an open door because people discouraged you?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Lately you have been asking God for many things.  Due to unsatisfaction on your job, you have asked God for another one.  Due to the lack of appreciation where you are, now you desire to go in a different direction.  Because of setbacks in your life, now you desire to follow the Lord’s lead.  As a result of idol speaking by friends, you have asked God to separate you.  My friend, Are You Really Ready To Move?  Often times we make decisions because it sounds like the right thing to say at that time.  While it may impress others, it does not impress God.  God sees your heart and He knows when you are sincere (1 Samuel 16:7).  The Bible declares in Luke 9:62 - And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.  Are You Really Ready To Move?  Are you sincere in your gestures?  There will come times when people will try to knock you off base.  The enemy will attack you any chance he gets.

My brother, my sister,  Are You Really Ready To Move?  Are you really sincere?  Beloved, if God were to give you what you are currently asking for, would you be ready to receive it?  So often in life, we pray for open doors and showers of blessings, but we never position ourselves to receive.  The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.  If what you are asking God for will bring honor to Him, He will not withhold it from you.  Are You Really Ready To Move?  Are you really ready for the next level?  Are you prepared for the new assignment?  Remember, God knows the truth, do you?  Dear friend, think about the things you are asking God for in your life, are they selfish request or for the glory of God (Colossians 3:23)?  Prayer for Today: Father, I know you are all-seeing, all-knowing and all-powerful.  Prepare me today for the next move, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Walk In What God Has Spoken!

Thursday, December 22nd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Has God been speaking to you lately?  Has He been waking you up in the middle of the night?  Have you tried to lay in bed with hopes of falling back to sleep?  Are you missing what the Lord is trying to show you?  So often in our lives, we attempt to place God in a small, tight box.  We try to dictate when God can and should move in our lives.  We keep the box closed until we want something from Him.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?  When you are around your friends, you try to ignore your relationship with the Lord.  You avoid praying over your food because the others do not.  You avoid public praise and worship for fear of rejection.  You compromise your walk to please your family and friend’s talk.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  If the above represents your behavior, today I encourage you to repent before the Lord.  He deserves better than this.  No person, place or thing should ever cause you to delay walking into your destiny.  No relationship is worth losing your covenant with the Lord.  My friend, Walk In What God Has Spoken!  The destiny, mission and plan God has designed for your life will not come to pass until you walk in the fullness of God’s presence.  You must have a desire to fulfill the plan of God for your life.  The Bible declares in Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  The way God sees you goes beyond what any other person will ever see.  He has a purpose for your life.  In spite of the lies the enemy has spoken, or the negative comments you have experienced, or the traps you have avoided, God has a purpose for your life.  Walk In What God Has Spoken!

My brother, my sister, what has God been speaking to you lately?  What has He told you to do?  Are you being obedient or are you attempting to ignore His voice?  Beloved, the promises of God shall come to pass.  The Bible declares in Numbers 23:19 - God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?  Walk In What God Has Spoken!  Dear friend, nothing will change until you step out in faith (Hebrews 11:6). There are new relationships waiting to be formed, a successful business or ministry to be launched, a breakthrough to be experienced - but nothing will happen until you move (James 4:8). The moment you quit holding back, God will move to meet you, doors will open, the right people will show up and the resources will be provided (Psalms 118:8). But you’ve got to take the first step!  Walk In What God Has Spoken!  Prayer for Today: Father, I acknowledge you to be God in my life.  Without you, I am nothing.  Today I commit myself to walk in what you have spoken for me to do.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Praise ye the Lord!

Wednesday, December 21st, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you know that God is faithful?  In spite of what you have been through in life.  Do you understand how much He loves you?  Even when you did not love yourself, He still loved you.  Do you realize at your lowest points of life, He has always been there for you?  After all of your friends and family disappeared, He kept watch over you.  When no one could be found, you could always depend on the Lord.  When the storms of life were raging, God was your anchor.  When the enemy attempted to destroy you, God was your protection.  When your marriage, your ministry, your home, your children, or even your job was in jeopardy, God granted an unexplainable peace.  He is Faithful and Just.  Do you believe it?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and encourage you in the Lord.  My friend, what are you facing today?  What dilemma do you find yourself involved in?  You have tried everything and everyone, and the results have not changed.  The people you thought could be called on, failed.  Your hiding place was exposed.  The thing you hid behind has been taken away.  You feel as though your world is crumbling down.  Beloved, the Lord desires to free you from the turmoil of this life.  When your surroundings seem threatening, and everything is [seemingly] against you … Praise ye the Lord!  Stop complaining.  Stop griping.  Do you not know who your Father is?  Your Father responds to praise and worship, not whining and groping.  The Bible declares in 1 Chronicles 29:13 - Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.   Exalt the name of Jesus Christ.  Let your enemies know who your Father is.

My brother, my sister, put your head up.  Walk with upright shoulders.  You have no reason to walk with a depressed demeanor.  God is on your side.  Through every attack of the enemy, Praise ye the Lord!  When your finances get low, Praise ye the Lord!  When tomorrow seems uncertain, Praise ye the Lord!   When your place of employment is hellish, Praise ye the Lord!   When your relationship is on the ropes. Praise ye the Lord!  When your friends laugh in your face, Praise ye the Lord!  Prayer for Today: Father, Today I declare that you are God of all and in all.  No matter what my situation looks like, I give you the praise.  I know that my current situation is not greater than you.  Father, have your way in my life.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Your Miracle Is In Your Faith

Tuesday, December 20th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself in need of immediate assistance?  Everywhere you looked something was going wrong.  Have you ever woke up in a place of discomfort?  When you went to bed the night before, everything was going well.  When you woke up the next morning, everything seemed totally different.  Have you ever experienced a season of loneliness?  When others were in need you were there, but now that you are in need no one is there to assist you.  Have you ever received a deadly report from your physician?  Just when you were preparing to live again, they now want you to prepare for death.  Have you ever needed God to intervene NOW?  You felt as though your situation could not wait any longer.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  There comes a time in each of our lives, when we stand in need of a miracle.  There comes a time when God’s intervention is the only way out.  No person, no place or no thing can assist you.  My friend, Your Miracle Is In Your Faith.  Many people never understand how important faith is in the life of a Believer.  Faith allows you to believe what no one else believes.  Faith allows you to see what no one else can see.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  When you find yourself in need of a miracle, you have to develop a persevering attitude.  You must get to a point where you will not give up until you have what you are in need of.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Your Miracle Is In Your Faith.

My brother, my sister, are you currently in need of a miracle in your life?  Do you need an immediate turn around in your life?  Are you believing God for something that sounds crazy to those around you?  Your Miracle Is In Your Faith.  Your miracle is not predicated on what your family or friends believe.  It is not determined by the amount of people you know.  The Bible declares in Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  Since your miracle depends on your faith in God, and your faith comes by hearing the word of God, then you must learn how to speak (loudly) the word of God.  Your Miracle Is In Your Faith.  It matters not if momma or daddy understands.  Your miracle is possible.  The Bible declares in Luke 18:27 - And He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.  Beloved, do not wait for someone else.  Prayer for Today: Father, today I stand on Your word and I believe there is nothing too hard for you.  In knowing this, I have faith in you.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Reconcile Any Differences

Monday, December 19th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever experienced disagreements with family or friends?  Your opinion about a matter was rejected or considered crazy.  Have you ever walked away from a friendship that took years to establish?  Because of constructive criticism, you decided their friendship was no longer in your best interest.  Are you currently in “limbo” with a certain person in your life?  For whatever reason, you find yourself at odds with this person.  Have you ever purposely ignored someone because you were bitter about an “old” matter?  You felt avoiding them was the best remedy to the problem.  So often in our lives, we experience times when our friendships are challenged.  Challenged by trials, dilemmas, situations and tragedy.  There comes a time when two do not agree.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  The first thing you must understand about life is no one is perfect.  We all have flaws in our character.  We all stand in need of God’s grace and mercy.  After all you have been through in life, you would not allow a disagreement to destroy your progress … would you?  My friend, Reconcile Any Differences.  Bring closure to any open wounds.  The Bible declares in Matthew 5:23-24 - Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.  Many times we cover up a wound that was caused by a friend or family member.  We never doctor the wound, but we do cover it up.  As time goes on, the same wound becomes infected by jealousy, rage or even misunderstandings.  The infection occurred because the open wound was covered but never doctored first.  Reconcile Any Differences.

My brother, my sister, are you at odds with anyone today?  Do you have peace in your life?  Have you become a victim to pain?  Today I challenge you to Reconcile Any Differences.  Where God desires to take you can be hindered by past situations that were left unresolved.  The Bible declares in Leviticus 19:17 - Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.  Beloved, has your past resurrected itself?  Has an old situation remained unresolved in your life?  Do you feel trapped?  Do you desire to be totally free?  Reconcile Any Differences.  You must fix what is broke.  Dear friend, whatever or whoever has wounded you, in your life, needs to be exposed, confronted and then reconciled.  Think of the days and nights you have wasted.  The times you cried because of pain.  The confusion the enemy has sown into your mind.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 12:1 - … let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us … Today, experience freedom.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me reconcile any differences in my life that have left me wounded.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!
