God Can Heal Your Broken Heart!

Wednesday, November 30th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been wounded by the lies of other people?  Jealousy has caused your peers to spread lies about you.  Have you ever been stepped on by family or friends who took you for granted?  They did all they could to take advantage of you.  Have you ever experienced betrayal by someone who walked with you for years?  The one person you thought you could trust, turn his/her back on you.  Are you slowing recovering from a broken heart?  Has your heart been left in pieces?  Do you want to give up?  Are you tired of this repeated cycle?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, God Can Heal Your Broken Heart!  He can take the pieces of your heart and put them back together again.  The enemy has attacked.  You were left for dead.  In all that you have been through, God is still able to repair and restore.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.  Many people walked away from you.  Some people turned their heads and tried to ignore your cry for help.  You have yelled and screamed.  You have prayed and cried.  The pain aches, but God Can Heal Your Broken Heart!   God can heal what man wounded.  God can restore what man took away.  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

My brother, my sister, what area of your life has broken your heart?  What situation affected your heart?  Was it someone or some thing?  God Can Heal Your Broken Heart!  God can take away the pain.  He can do what the world could not.  The Bible declares in John 14:27 - … Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  Dear friend, what did not kill you will make you stronger.  What the enemy tried to do failed.  The enemy wanted to kill you but he failed.  The attack was sent to destroy you, but he failed.  You must learn how to praise God in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:18).  It could have been worse.  The Bible declares in Psalms 37:25 - … yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken …  Beloved, whatever you have been through, God Can Heal Your Broken Heart!  Thought for Today: God will use your misery for ministry.

The Enemy Cannot Win!

Tuesday, November 29th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently experiencing a battle within your mind?  Maybe the enemy is trying to cause fear to hinder your progress.  Have you ever been in a position where there appears to be no way out?  No matter what you attempt to do, it seems as though there are no exits.  Have you ever felt defeated before you began to fight?  Along the way you told yourself you could not win.  Have you stopped encouraging yourself?  Have you given up?  Have you stopped believing God for a turn around?  So often in our lives, we ask God for certain things but we begin to waver in our faith (Hebrews 11:6).  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, The Enemy Cannot Win!  No matter how terrible you feel or how impossible it appears, you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37).  Your current situation is not hidden from the presence of God.  The enemy is trying all he can to hinder your progress.  The enemy understands his time of attacking you is rapidly coming to an end.  The enemy is now using anything or anyone he possibly can to destroy you.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD.  The Enemy Cannot Win!  The battle you find yourself fighting is not your battle.  The battle belongs to the Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15).  If you stand still and see God’s salvation, you will also see the victory God has won for you.

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with today?  What dilemma are you faced with today?  Do you believe in the power of God?  You are no longer the victim, but God has made you into the victor.  The Enemy Cannot Win!  The Bible declares in 1 John 4:4 - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.  What you are dealing with today is minor when compared with the God you serve.  The “hell” you are facing is the enemy’s attempt to have you denounce the name of the Lord.  If you begin to proclaim the name of Jesus against every attack, you will notice a change taking place.  The Bible declares in Philippians 2:10-11 - That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Thought to Remember: The Enemy Cannot Win!

He Heard Your Cry!

Monday, November 28th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever cried yourself to sleep at night?  You were overwhelmed with life’s problems and tragedies.  Have you ever felt neglected by family and friends?  During your lowest moments in life, everyone disappeared.  Have you ever wondered what went wrong?  Things started out so well for you, but over time it took a turn for the worse.  Have you ever prayed and asked God for understanding?  It seemed as though nothing was clear anymore.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?  The point when crying is the only thing you do well.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, He Heard Your Cry!  God heard your cry for help.  He heard your plea for assistance.  Although things are uncomfortable right now, God is on the case.  The Bible declares in Psalms 40:1 - I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  When no one noticed your heartaches and pains, God did.  When no one could see your wounds, God did.  When you were breaking down, God noticed.  Today you may feel depressed and be full of despair, but beloved He Heard Your Cry!  He heard what no one else could hear.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 59:1 - Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear:  When your life appears chaotic and in disarray, God can still hear your voice through it all.  When you wear the mask to impress the crowd, God sees beyond the act.

My brother, my sister, the nights you cried yourself to sleep, He Heard Your Cry!  The mornings you broke down in the shower, He Heard Your Cry!  When you were in your car screaming and shouting for help, He Heard Your Cry!  When the enemy sought to destroy you, He Heard Your Cry!  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  What are you going through today?  What have you been crying about lately?  The Lord is present.  When everyone has forsaken you, the Lord will continue to be there for you (Hebrews 13:5) (Psalms 27:10). He has come to wipe your tears away.  The Bible declares in Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  Dear friend, no matter how awful it appears, He Heard Your Cry!  Thought for Today: When you need help, call on the Lord (pride will never help).

If You Believe It, Speak It!

Friday, November 25th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Through the grace of God, you have made it to the end of another work week.  After challenging work assignments, early morning rising and unpleasant attitudes, you can now focus on relaxing your body and mind.  For some, this week has challenged your walk with the Lord.  For others, this week was a breeze.  Have you ever found yourself praying for God to perform a miraculous deed in your life?  With everything going against you, the hand of God was needed immediately.  Have you ever sat in your car trying to prevent interacting with certain people?  You really was not in the mood to be bothered by gossiping co-workers or nosy church members.  Have you ever asked God to strengthen your body during long and exhausting task?  Do you believe in the things you pray for?  Do you really believe God can?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, If You Believe It, Speak It!    Oft times we ask God to do something awesome in our lives, but we never walk out what we asked the Lord to do.  The Bible declares in Job 22:28 - Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.  If I speak (out of my mouth) the word of God and not waver against it, God will do it according to His will.  The challenge is not God’s abilities, but our faith to speak it and walk it out.  No matter how difficult the situation appears, no matter how deadly the report, no matter how crazy it sounds, If You Believe It, Speak It!    The Bible declares in Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  You have the power to believe in the Lord.  God will do what He promised He would.

My brother, my sister, what are you faced with today?  Has the trial become hard to handle?  Are you frustrated beyond control?  Have you asked the Lord to help you?  Do you believe He will step in?  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  If You Believe It, Speak It!   Whether it is chaos on your job, confusion in your home, attacks against your body, scandal against your character or hurt in your heart, if you speak the word of God against your attacker, that situation has to move.  The Bible declares in Mark 11:23 - For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  Dear friend, If You Believe It, Speak It!  Until Monday …

Everything Will Be Alright!

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you currently feel overwhelmed by the assignments on your job?  No matter what you do, it is never good enough.  Are you growing wearier as the days pass?  Each day becomes harder and harder to handle.  Have you ever wanted to stay in bed all day?  You felt as though you could sleep your troubles away.  Have you ever desired a vacation from life?  Have you ever wished others could understand what you were going through?  Have you ever questioned God about the confusion in your life?  Has your job taken your joy?  Has life knocked you off balance?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Everything Will Be Alright!  No matter how bad the situation appears, God is working everything together for His glory.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.  The assignment God has charged you with, will experience attacks.  Everyone will not be able to understand the full magnitude of it.  There will be times when you will have difficulty understanding everything.  The Bible declares in Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.  Everything Will Be Alright!  God has not forgotten about you.  He has not left you in the middle of the ocean without His protection.  Whatever you are dealing with today, God has equipped you to handle.  If you could not handle it, God would not allow it.

My brother, my sister, what storm are you going through?  What confusion are you trying to clear up (1 Corinthians 14:33)?  Everything Will Be Alright!  The pressure you feel does not hinder the God you serve.  The one thing you feel is impossible to overcome, God can move from your path.  The Bible declares Luke 18:27 - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.  Dear friend, learn how to rejoice in the face of the enemy.  Know this, the enemy only attacks those who do not belong to him.  If you were serving and living for him, he would never bother you.  Everything Will Be Alright!  God will see you through.  You are on the winning side now.  When attacks come against you, compare them to our God.  In a second, you will realize our God is greater than any enemy.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:31 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  Thought to Remember: If God brought you to it, He is able to take you through it.

It Does Not Matter

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever told someone your deep secret and they later told someone else?  After years of guilt and sadness, you finally opened up to someone and look what happened.  Have you ever been wounded by the lies of your peers?  Because of God’s anointing on your life, many people have set out to destroy you (Ephesians 6:12).  Have you walked away from the assignment of God for your life?  You have become overwhelmed with the pressure that this world placed on your shoulders.  Are you walking with your head down in defeat?  You no longer believe a change can happen.  Have you become weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9)?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, It Does Not Matter … what the enemy has tried to do. You must understand, the more “hell” you endure signifies the greater the glory you shall receive.  When the Lord desires to use you, the enemy tries all he can to tear you down.  The enemy begins to use people against, begin to remind you of old mistakes you have made and attempts to send you to former places you attended.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 43:18-19 - Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.  It Does Not Matter … what lie has been told against you.  Now that the Lord has chosen you, expect the persecution.  The process will be difficult at times.  Everyone will not be happy for you.

My brother, my sister, It Does Not Matter … who walks away.  As God deals with you, there will be people who will not hang around.  There will be places you can no longer visit.  There will be things you can no longer be apart of.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  There will come a period, in your life, when you find yourself isolated from others.  Your comfort zone will be stretched, as well as your faith.  It Does Not Matter … as long as God is in control.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 40:22 - It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:  Thought for Today: What God has spoken to you, shall come to pass.

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today is a different day than yesterday.  Whatever happened before today should be released into the hands of God.  It is hard to enjoy a new thing, if you continue to harbor on an old thing.  Have you ever wanted to be a part of something that seemed so right?  No matter what it took, you were willing to do it.  Have you ever asked God for something you thought you really wanted?  Every chance possible you reminded God of your request.  Have you ever received what you wanted and realized it was not worth the trouble?  From the outside it was appealing, but when you looked within there was a lot of mess involved.  What do you do when your heart desires what the Lord said you could not have?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, before you make any hasteful decisions, PRAY!  Prayer is the most effective, yet under-used weapon of the Believer.  When we learn to seek the Lord in prayer, before we react to anything, we keep ourselves from years of pain and despair.  The Bible declares in James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  Before you allow your emotions to control your reactions, learn to consult the Lord.  PRAY!  Ask God what His will is for you.  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.  You must understand the power you receive when you seek the Lord in prayer.  Many have endured long periods of hurt because they reacted before they spoke with the Lord.

My brother, my sister, what are you currently faced with today?  What dilemma are you enduring?  What decision are you trying to make?  No decision in your life should be made until you are able to PRAY!   The Bible declares in Matthew 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.  When you pray, you must allow the Lord to speak back to you.  PRAY!  Before you allow your tongue to speak, PRAY!  Before you walk away from the blessings of God, PRAY!   Before you enter into agreement with anyone, PRAY!  Before you enter the workplace, PRAY!  When “hell” has tried to attack you, PRAY!  The Bible declares in Psalms 102:1 - Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.  Challenge for the Day: Before you react, seek God in prayer!

A Point of No Return

Friday, November 18th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today you will prepare for a two day weekend.  Either your weekend will be joyous and relaxing or chaotic and tearful.  You will return to work excited about what the Lord did or mad that your weekend ended.  However you feel, the Lord wants to bless you.  Have you ever started a project and walked away with it incomplete?  In the beginning you were excited about working on it.  You always talked about how it would look when complete.  What happened?  Why haven’t you completed the task?  Have you ever vowed to do something but went against your word?  You committed to be somewhere or do something but you did not honor your promise.  What happened?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, this journey of living for Christ is not an easy walk.  Challenges will come.  People will betray you.  Storms will attempt to drown you.  There will be days of discomfort and despair.  You will experience weak days and long nights.  In spite of it all, you must enter A Point of No Return!  You must become totally committed to Christ.  Come what may.  Say what you will.  The Bible declares in Luke 9:62 - And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.  You have to be an ambassador for Christ.  No matter what is said about you.  No matter what lie is told against you.  You must get to A Point of No Return!  A position where nothing nor no one can turn you back.  Never allow this world or the things of it to make you bitter.  The Bible declares in Psalms 124:2 - If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us.

My brother, my sister, are you at A Point of No Return?  A point where you refuse to go back to your old ways.  A point where you will stand for Christ alone if you have to.  Dear friend, never allow the words of man to destroy you.  Never allow a lie or a rumor to tear you down.  Whatever does not kill you, will always make you stronger.  The Bible declares in Psalms 3:3 - But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.  Are you at A Point of No Return?  Have you walked away from the commandments of God?  Has this week caused you to turn your back on the faith?  Has a past relationship made you bitter against the Lord?  Are you sold out for the Lord?  Are you dedicated to the principles of God?  Have you made up your mind to serve the Lord?  Are you spreading false stories about someone?  The Bible declares in Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ JesusChallenge for the Day: Get to A Point of No Return!

When No One Believes In You

Thursday, November 17th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever encountered disbelief from family and friends?  You shared your vision with them and no one believed it was possible.  Have you ever felt alone in this crowded world?  It seemed as though you were fighting to be noticed.  Have you ever felt your back against the wall?  No matter what you said or did, nothing seemed to change.  Have you ever wondered why God chose you?  Have you ever questioned your calling?  Have you ever doubted your abilities?  Have you ever cried yourself to sleep at night?  So often in our lives, the above questions become reality to us.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, what do you do … When No One Believes In You?  What do you do when your dream is criticized by your surroundings?  Do you give up on yourself?  Do you walk away in tears?  Do you proceed as God commanded?  What do you do?  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.  The first thing you must understand about the thing God has spoken to you is, what God has spoken and promised will not be understood or accepted by carnal-minded people.  If God spoke it to you, then you were the only one to hear Him.  Therefore, those who did not hear His voice will always question the promise (1 Samuel 3:4-9).  You have to get to a point of no return.  So what if no one believes.  Do you?  The Bible declares 2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

My brother, my sister, what do you do … When No One Believes In You?  The second thing you must understand about the thing God has spoken to you is, He made no mistake when He chose you.  God knows everything about you.  He did not pull your name from a hat.  He purposed for you to do the work.  The Bible declares in Matthew 10:30 - But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  What do you do … When No One Believes In You?  The third (and final) thing you must understand about the thing God has spoken to you is, you have been anointed and equipped to fulfill the assignment.  God never calls anyone without giving them everything they need to make it.  The Bible declares in Luke 12:48 - … For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.  Thought to Remember: When No One Believes In You, remember the above three.

Lord, Order My Steps!

Wednesday, November 16th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been faced with a difficult decision in your life?  You know the answer will change your life.  Have you ever been overwhelmed with questions that needed immediate answers?  No matter what you attempted to do, the questions remained close to you.  Have you ever allowed your emotions to consume your thoughts and hinder your ability to hear God clearly?  You found yourself preoccupied with other things of less importance.  So often in our lives, we place ourselves in positions of anger and frustration. Because of quick choices and rapid reactions, we now find ourselves seeking a way out.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, when you find yourself in a place of uncertainty and discomfort, you must learn to say, “Lord, Order My Steps!“  Sometimes our indecisiveness places us in harm’s way.  We had good intentions, but it was not the will of God.  The Bible declares in Psalms 37:23 - The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in His way.  Your steps are ordered by the Hand of God.  Before you were able to walk, God predestined your every step.  He walked out every step that we would eventually have to walk.  It is important that you line yourself up with the Word of God and His call for your life.  Lord, Order My Steps!  The Bible declares in Psalms 119:133 - Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.  Are you walking after the heart of God or trying to please man?  Are you living according to the new commandments of Christ or making your own rules (Matthew 22:37-40)?

My brother, my sister, where are you today?  Are you in the place God designed for you to be in or have you created your own paths?  Are you living in obedience to the principles of Almighty God?  If you are not, say “Lord, Order My Steps!“  The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:9 - A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.  Dear friend, the Lord’s plan for your life is greater than any blueprint you could create for yourself.  Before you knew you, God knew you.  Before you were aware of your likes and dislikes, God knew.  Before you asked, God knew.  Before you fell, God was there to pick you up.  Before you make any decisions, say “Lord, Order My Steps!  Lead me away from the traps and snares of the enemy.  Lead me in the paths of righteousness.  Lead me in the ways that bring glory to your name.  Challenge for Today: Locate where you are in life (you are either walking for or against the Lord).
