He Will Come In If You Invite Him!

Monday, February 29th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been around friends or family members and everything they said was negative?  For some reason, they only had bad things to say or talk about.  These same people claim to be Believers of God but they often contradict themselves by their constant complaining and murmuring.  Have you ever worked around people who spent their lunch break griping about their supervisor or another co-worker?  This person spent an entire hour focusing on one individual.  How is it that we enable others to overtake us in anger?  How is it that we allow our jobs to consume our thoughts?  How is it that we forget God is the same God, no matter where we go?  So often in our lives, we become so preoccupied with the affairs of life until we forget to invite the Lord in.  We must understand while God is every where at the same time (omni-present), He still has an order He follows.  We must invite the Lord in.

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Allow me to explain further.  God does everything decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).  He operates according to the standard He set for the world.  Therefore, the same way we ask God to use us is the same way God is desiring to enter into our daily affairs.  The Bible declares in Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.  Yes we know God could open the door Himself.  Yes we know God could knock the door down.  Yes we know God could enter without opening or knocking the door down.  However, that is not what the Lord will do.  There’s a responsibility we must uphold.  My friend, He Will Come In If You Invite Him!  Do not wait until things are going wrong in your life before you ask God to intervene.  Do not wait until hours before the due date before you ask God to provide for you.  Do not wait until you have fallen into sin or the traps of the enemy before you ask God to rescue you.

My brother, my sister, God is the only wise God our Father (Jude 1:25).  It is true, He does know all things.  He is all places at one time.  He is the greatest power in the world.  While this may be true, He is also a God who wants His children to invite His presence into their lives.  Be not deceived, we cannot survive without the Lord.  No matter how successful you think you are, all that you have is because of Him.  Beloved, He Will Come In If You Invite Him!  He will step in if you make room for His presence.  Once He steps in, then He will show out on your behalf.  What are you dealing with today?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with today?  What struggle are you overwhelmingly involved in?  Have you invited the Master in?  Have you made room for His presence?  If no, what are you waiting for?  Prayer for Today: Father, as this day unfolds, I invite You to have Your way.  Lead me where You want me to go.  Guide according to Your will.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Its Not How You Stand, But Who You Stand On!

Friday, February 26th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  So often in our lives, we face challenges that we were not prepared to face.  We experience unforeseen circumstances without any prior notification.  Our investments and planning appear wasteful.  You tried to do everything right, but the pressures of life still caused you heartache.  The person you thought would always be there, is now unavailable.  The places you loved to visit are now out of business.  The things you loved to do are now unsatisfying.  Yesterday’s excitements, have no affect on today’s sorrows.  With one phone call, everything appears out of order now.  Your dreams and desires seem unreachable.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Have you ever felt like there was more pain than health?  Have you have ever felt like there was more sorrow than joy?  Have you wondered how you were going to get back up from this one?  In times past, you would bounce back with no problem.  But this latest situation has taken more out of you than ever before.  What do you do when everyone seems determined to destroy you?  You have been standing (as best as you can.)  What do you do when the questions of life are raging in your mind?  My friend, Its Not How You Stand, But Who You Stand On!  Yes, you are known as a fighter.  Everyone can count on you.  However, there will come a time in each of our lives when our strength will not be enough (Job 14:1).  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

My brother, my sister, there will come a time when all you will know how to do is stand still.  You will have tried everything.  You will have called on everyone.  You will have thought of everything.  To no avail!  Be not dismayed.  It is at our lowest points of life that God desires to show Himself the strongest.  Beloved, Its Not How You Stand, But Who You Stand On!  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 12:10 - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.  Until we have run out of natural options, we will never truly trust in an eternal God.  Until we have run into the wall, we will never truly turn to the Lord.  Until we deny our flesh, we will never truly worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.  Standing is what is required of us, but how you stand does not matter, who you stand on does.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to always stand on You.  Your Word is true and it is dependable.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Are You Ready For It?

Thursday, February 25th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever felt like giving up on your calling in life?  For some reason you felt unqualified, unappreciated, unworthy and unnoticed (these are the reasons why God chose you.)  As you look back over your life, you realize the potential you have to ruin the assignment God has given to you.  Fear and worry have begun to consume your mind and control your behavior.  Have you ever had people question your calling?  They were not convinced that God really called you.  They tried everything possible to turn you away.  They interrogated you.  They investigated your past.  They zoned in on your mistakes and shortcomings.  Have you ever wondered why God chose you?  No one seems to want you around, but you know God has specifically called you for such a time as this.  Quitting appears easy, but you know God has charged you with an assignment that cannot be avoided.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  The Lord has instructed me to tell you something that will change your life and your mindset.  Are You Ready For It?  Beloved,

Man Did Not

Choose You,

God Did!

My brother, my sister, stop trying to please people.  Your calling is directly from the Lord.  The Bible declares in John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, he may give it you.  Today, walk in the assurance that man cannot reverse what God has blessed.

Let It Go!

Wednesday, February 24th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, God has spoken a specific word into my spirit.  A word that each of us must take heed to.  Are you trying to change someone?  Are you trying to figure things out after you promised to give it to the Lord?  Are you trying to make ends meet without asking for the Lord’s help?  Are you trying to make people like, appreciate and accept you?  Are you compromising your walk with the Lord for the sake of a friendship?  Are you trying to put the pieces back together again?  Are you holding on to some thing or someone that the Lord told you to release?  If yes is your answer, this morning’s devotional is just for you.

Beloved, the Lord raised me up this morning to tell you ONE thing.

Let It Go!

What God Ordains, He Maintains!

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever had a friend who promised to always be there, but at the sight of attacks they disappeared?  When things were going well for you, they surrounded you with applauds and words of support.  You could always depend on them (so you thought.)  You were always there to encourage them when things were not going well.  Now you are in need of encouragement and this same friend is no where to be found.  (S)He is not answering their telephone.  Not returning your e-mails or text messages.  Have you ever endured a trying time alone?  Naturally, there was no one around to lift you up.  There were no get well cards coming through the mail.  No roses being delivered to your doorstep.  Have you ever had people speak against you, even though you were doing what the Lord required of you?  Think about it …

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  To have people judge you, especially when you are being obedient to the will of God, can really hurt.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?  If so, the Lord sent me here to tell you something.  My friend, What God Ordains, He Maintains!  You no longer have to explain or apologize for the blessings you are enjoying.  God chose to do what He is doing in you.  Your calling is real.  Your anointing is from the Lord.  Your purpose is God-given.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:29-30 - For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.  Why do you feel the need to explain to others why God is using you?  No matter how you explain it, they will never understand it.  Truth be told, you really do not understand why either.

My brother, my sister, What God Ordains, He Maintains!  No matter how many people attempted it before you, if God said do it, He has a reason for you to do it.  You are an original not a cheap copy.  There is no one, no where like you.  You are one of a kind.  The Bible declares in John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.  Beloved, what are you allowing to keep you from moving freely in the things of God?  Who are you trying to explain it to?  Why are you trying to justify God’s favor upon your life?  What God Ordains, He Maintains!  Has God chosen you?  Are you operating in the calling of God for your life?  Are you bound by the opinions of others?  Child of God, you are chosen for this assignment.  No one else can do it for you or like you.  God wants you!  The Bible declares in Matthew 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank you for ordaining me for this great assignment. Today I commit myself to fulfilling Your will, Your way.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Where Can I Find Help?

Monday, February 22nd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever experienced sleepless nights where you walked the floor worrying about the uncertainties of tomorrow?  No matter how much you tried to encourage yourself, it seemed as if things were not getting better for you.  No matter how hard you tried to get yourself together, the spirit of doubt had consumed your thoughts.  Have you ever wondered how things would get better?  Your current surroundings appeared bleak and cloudy.  Nothing seemed clear.  Your future appeared in jeopardy.  Have you ever asked, “Why me?”  You know God knows what is best for you, but there were times when you felt overwhelmed by life and the troubles it brought (Job 14:1).  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, I have been there.  I have been in positions where I wondered how things could or would get better.  There have been many nights where I shed tears.  There have been times when I wondered does anyone understand me?  I know you can relate.  You wonder how much more must I take.  You wonder why everyone around you continues to receive blessings, while you stand in anticipation.  On the outside you are smiling, but within you are screaming (hollering) for refuge.  You begin to wonder, Where Can I Find Help?  Child of God, the help you need comes through Jesus Christ.  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:1-2 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.  The help you desire, can and only comes from above.

My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with this morning?  What have you been crying over?  What have you been worried about?  What situation do you spend all of your energy trying to fix?   Who are you trying to change?  Beloved, God is ready and willing to help you.  He knows what you stand in need of.  He knows what you need, when you need it.  Yes, it gets difficult at times.  Yes, there are days of stress and strain.  Yes, there are times when you wonder, Where Can I Find Help?  The Bible declares in Psalms 121:8 - The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.  Today, allow no job, no friend, no family member, no church member, no past mistakes, no financial setback or no false story about you to destroy your relationship with the Lord.  Your Helper is prepared to help you out.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me with _____ !  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Something Just For You!

Friday, February 19th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  My brother, my sister, do you realize God has angels watching over you each and every day?  Do you realize when you are sleeping, the angels of God are still working on your behalf?  Do you realize how special you are to the Lord?  Do you understand how important your welfare is to the Lord?  The Bible declares in Psalms 91:11 - For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.  It is God who has assigned His angels to keep you in all your ways.  What are you dealing with today?  What situation or dilemma are you stuck in the middle of?  What trouble, heartache or pain are you currently experiencing in life?

The Lord has raised me up this morning to sow this important ingredient and this one important scripture into your life.  Something Just For You!  My friend,

Before You Noticed

The Problem,

God Supplied

The Answer!

The Bible declares in Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Today, walk in total dependence of God.

Release It To The Lord

Thursday, February 18th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever experienced a day that started out wonderful but ended very discouraging?  Things were going well unto one bad meeting or one bad phone call took place.  Your smile turned upset down.  Your joy was temporarily stolen from you.  Have you ever wanted to tell everyone around you to get out of your face and your business?  Maybe you really do not mean it but the thought of it sure sounds great.  Have you ever wondered why you are always the person everyone attempts to misuse and abuse?  You would do anything for anyone, but in stead of people asking for your help they try so very hard to take advantage of you.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I know how you feel.  I can relate.  How do you handle it when it happens?  What do you say when everyone and everything gets on your nerves?  How do you respond when you receive discouraging news or unexpected phone calls?  Do you instantly respond in anger and rage?  Do you walk away and begin to pray?  What do you do when you have really done all you can do?  Hmmmmmmm!!  My friend, Release It To The Lord!  You have nothing else to do with the situation.  It is time for you to allow God to work on your behalf.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.  Until you release it to the Lord, you will find it difficult to cope with life each day.  The enemy will do all he can to keep you over-burdened and overwhelmed.  God stands ready to relieve you of the burden(s).

My brother, my sister, Release It To The Lord!  He can and He will work it out for you.  Trust me when I tell you God is more than able to fix what is broken, restore what has been lost and heal what has been wounded.  The Bible declares in Jude 1:24-25 - Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.   Beloved, the Lord loves you.  He really loves you.  What are you going through this morning?  What situation are you faced with this morning?  What dilemma do you find yourself in the middle of?  Does it seem like there is no way out of this one?  Right there, where you are, Release It To The Lord!  Prayer for Today: Father, help us release all of our day-to-day plans, pains and agendas to You.  Help us trust in Your abilities and Your Word.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

Does Your Life Belong to Him?

Wednesday, February 17th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever wondered how you overcame the many trials and traps in your life?  It seemed as if everywhere you went someone was out to destroy you.  No matter what you said or how you said it, this person was determined to flip your words around to mean something totally different.  Have you ever wondered how people could spend all of their energy despising you and your ministry?  Through love, you attempt to befriend this person but their animosity and jealousy toward you was a barrier.  Their inner conflicts caused them to turn their back to your friendly gesture.  Have you ever became so overwhelmed with life and the many challenges it presented until you desired to throw in the towel?  You grew tired of fighting and defending yourself.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  If you said, “yes” to any of the above asked questions, you are in good company.  I believe the called and anointed of God have experienced these times in their life.  Whether you believe it or not, to be anointed will cost you something.  It will come with challenges.  However, God never calls anyone unless He plans to use them for His glory.  Every road may not look straight, but God is still able to bring you across.  My friend, Does Your Life Belong to Him?  Have you totally surrendered your all unto the Lord?  Have you freely submitted your will to the Lord’s will?  The Bible declares 1 Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  No matter how impossible things appear right now, God fights the battles for His children.  You are victorious, but do you realize it?  Many people walk in “unrealized” victory.  Although it has been won for them, they have yet to take hold of it.

My brother, my sister, Does Your Life Belong to Him?  Think about it.  Have you given your all to the Lord?  Have you released everything in the hands of the Lord?  Everything including your family, your friends, your finances, etc.  Everything!!!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.  Beloved, God is trustworthy.  He is faithful.  How many battles has the Lord lost?  How many patients has the Lord lost?  How many promises has the Lord broken?  How many traps has the Lord fallen into?  The answer to each of the questions is NONE!  Now, how many battles have you lost?  How many promises have you broken?  How many traps have you fallen into?  Does Your Life Belong to Him?  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to totally surrender everything to You today.  Help me realize You are all I need to survive.  Everything else comes as a result of my relationship with You.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!

One Life-changing Announcement

Tuesday, February 16th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, the Lord loves you very much.  In spite of your sins and shortcomings, the Lord still has a plan for your life.  I have been assigned to give you One Life-changing Announcement.  Beloved,

God Has Already

Forgiven You!

While you are hoping and waiting for the Lord to forgive you, the truth is … He has already.  Now it is time for you to forgive yourself.  The Bible declares in James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  Today, stop walking in defeat.  Get up and walk in the forgiving grace of God.  My Prayer for You Today: Father, I pray that you would assure my brother/sister that His sins are forgiven.  Also Father, help him/her forgive himself/herself.  In the name of Jesus … Amen!
