He Can Work It Out!

Friday, January 29th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently experiences trying times in your life?  Are you currently faced with challenging decisions that no one else can respond to but you?  Are you currently stuck between a rock and a hard place?  Are you currently enduring unfamiliar territory?  Often in life, there are times when we find ourselves in positions of uncertainty.  You have lived your life to the best of your abilities, but it appears as though things are out of control.  You have done the best you could with what you have but for some reason every thing still seems messed up.  You find yourself standing in the need of divine intervention.  There’s a need for God to step in immediately and fix the situation.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In life, we have trained ourselves to look as though every thing is going well.  We smile when we really want to break down crying.  We laugh when within there’s much pain.  We attempt to encourage others when in actuality we stand in need of encouragement.  To be in this position is awful.  We desire better days.  It appears as if no one really understands you or what you are going through.  You are cry out for help but no one seems to hear you.  Sound familiar?  My friend, He Can Work It Out!  Your current situation is no secret to the Lord.  Your need for assistance is not hidden from the mighty power of God.  The impossible battle you face today, can be won by the Only Wise God our Father.  The Bible declares in Luke 18:27 - And He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.  Who told you things would not get better?  Who said you would never get back up again?  Who?

My brother, my sister, He Can Work It Out!  The Lord is able to work things out for you and your family.  He is able to fix what is broke.  He is able to heal what is hurting.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  Beloved, you are not alone.  The Lord is working things together for your good (Romans 8:28).  What are you currently dealing with this morning?  What dilemma are you faced with today?  Do you still trust the Master?  Do you still believe God performs miracles?  I challenge you to stand on the Word of God.  I challenge you to remain steadfast in the things of God.  Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.  No matter how awful things appear right now, He Can Work It Out!  Prayer for Today: Father, help me during this time in my life.  I believe You are working it out.  I surrender it over to You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

When Man Says No …

Thursday, January 28th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When was the last time you were told you could not do it?  When was the last time a friend or an enemy told you the assignment was to difficult for someone like you to accomplish?  When was the last time man tried to break your spirit by taking away the very thing(s) you worked so hard for?  When was the last time the cares of this world left you beaten, battered and bruised?  When was the last time you cried because you could not understand what was going on?  When was the last time you needed a friend or a family member to encourage you in the Lord?  When was the last time you had to encourage yourself?  Some times in life, there are times when we have more questions than answers.  Times when going on seems impossible.  Times when the evil doers seem to prosper and the God followers are not (Psalms 37).  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  There are times when situations arise that you were not prepared for.  There are times when you may be caught off guard.  However, just because it caught you off guard does not mean God was not aware.  Every situation in your life is seen by the eyes of God.  There are no hidden secrets or plans that God is not aware of in your life.  My friend, When Man Says No … God is not defeated.  Just because someone set a trap for you does not mean God will fall in that trap.  Just because someone hurt your feelings with harsh words does not mean it will work on the Lord.  What am I saying to you?  Simply this, the attacks that man throw at you will never work on the Lord.  The Bible declares in Genesis 18:14 - Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life …  Man’s denial of you, does not hinder God’s approval of you.  God does not need man, but man definitely needs God.  If that blessing is yours, God will make sure you get it and no one else.

My brother, my sister, today walk in the victory and assurance of God.  You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Do not live your life hoping that man applauds or approves you.  It is not necessary.  It is not important.  Only what you do for Christ will last anyway.  When Man Says No … God can still say yes.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:27 - But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; Beloved, many things you accomplish today was not approved by man.  Truthfully speaking, man did not think you could achieve it.  But the Lord knows all that He has placed inside of you.  There’s an anointing within you that stirs up when others say you cannot do something.  You are divinely selected by the hand of God to accomplish great works.  When Man Says No … God is still in control.  Prayer for Today: Father, help me to live my life to please and honor You.  Man’s approval of me is not a necessity because I live my life for You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

There’s A Praise In You!

Wednesday, January 27th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Are you currently experiencing a challenge in your life that desires to overtake you?  For some apparent reason, you know the situation is greater than you but it cannot overthrow you.  From every angle the attacks are coming but you still remain steadfast and immovable.  The enemy has sent what he could send.  He has thrown what he could throw.  He has said what he could say.  However, every thing he has tried have all backfired.  Are you currently enduring pain in your body or confusion in your mind?  You know things will get better soon but right now it appears so far away.  Each day you encourage yourself in the Lord.  You know God will show up at the right time but in your current state things appear out of control.  As the tears lap your face you continuously remind yourself that God would never bring you this far to leave you.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  From the outside looking in, many people wonder how in the world you are still making it.  They know things are not going well (naturally) in your life.  It appears as if your business has been publicly displayed for the world to see.  Everyone is wondering how you are able to stand after everything has been thrown at you.  The questions are mounting against you.  “How are you standing?”  They cannot understand how or why you are still smiling.  My friend, There’s A Praise In You!  There’s an inward praise that controls your outward behavior.  The Bible declares in Psalms 7:17 - I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.  After all you have been through you understand praise is the way into the presence of God.  Yes you are aware of the attacks against you.  Yes you see the traps set before you.  Yes you hear the lies and rumors about you.  Be that as it may, you also know God responds to the praises of His people.

My brother, my sister, There’s A Praise In You!  It is a praise that will not allow you to be overtaken by depression and guilt.  It is a praise that rebukes the plots and plans of the enemy.  It is a praise that encourages your spirit.  It is a praise that releases the shackles that once held you bound.  It is a praise that fights off the imps and demons of the adversary.  The Bible declares in Psalms 100:4 - Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.  Beloved, the praise within you has become your weapon against life’s problems and dilemmas.  It has become an offense in the time of spiritual warfare.  Do you not know that God inhabits the praises of His people?  As your day unfolds, never lose sight of the praise within you.  The Bible declares in Psalms 34:1 - I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  Prayer for Today: Father, in the midst of whatever I go through, You have birthed a praise within me.  Thank you for giving me this weapon against the attacks.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

You Are Not Alone!

Tuesday, January 26th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  So often in our lives, we desire for God to use us in mighty ways.  There’s something special about us that will not allow us to sit back and remain passive.  Within you have a burning to walk out the purpose and plan God has ordained for your life.  Your days and nights are spent asking God to show you what He wants from you.  Have you ever had family or friends tell you God could not use you?  For some apparent reason, they believed God could not clean you up.  The more they talked, the more you believed it was possible.  The more they questioned your abilities, the more you assured them it was not about you.  Have you ever had people laugh in your face because what you were believing God for seemed ridiculous?  Since you had enough faith to believe God for it, others mocked and scorned.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  You must understand, when you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the attacks will not decrease.  The enemy will not turn and walk away from you.  The lies and vicious rumors will not diminish.  To be honest with you, all of these things may increase.  You might experience more challenges and assaults.  You might lose more friends and supporters.  You might endure times of loneliness and isolation.  However, in all that you are faced with, be encouraged.  My friend, You Are Not Alone!  You are not facing life alone.  You are not fighting off the enemy’s attacks by yourself.  The Bible declares in Hebrews 13:5 - … for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  During those times when it feels as if no one cares about you.  Or the times when you feel alone and overlooked.  Or the times when every thing around you is chaotic.  Be assured this one thing: God is ever present in your life.

My brother, my sister, what matter are you faced with this morning?  What challenge or dilemma are you dealing with?  What lie or rumor are you trying to overcome.  You Are Not Alone!  God will never allow anyone or anything to destroy you.  Even when things appear hectic in your life, God is still able to do exceeding abundantly above all you may ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).   Beloved, think about the lonely times in your life.  Think about the times when you wanted to give up but you could not.  Think about the many days you wanted to lay in bed because life was weighing you down.  How did you make it?  How did you overcome?  How did you persevere?  It was through the mighty power of God.  It was by the mercies of God.  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  You are where you are because God would not leave you alone.  Get up and walk in victory.  Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for always being there.  Thank You for being with me when things in my life appeared out of control.  I Love You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

He Will Do What He Wants To Do!

Monday, January 25th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Did last week seem longer than normal?  Did last week bring more challenges than you can remember?  Did last week leave you feeling overwhelmed and overworked?  Did last week make you question past decisions you made?  Did last week cause you to contemplate walking away from every thing and everyone?  Was last week the best week of your life?  Did last week bring continuous joy and blessings?  Did you hate to see the week end?  Did last week position you for better weeks to come?  So often in our lives, we are faced with more questions than we have answers.  Some times we desire to ignore as many questions as possible.  Above you noticed many personal questions.  Questions that no one else can answer but you.  Isn’t it amazing how the same week that brought you pain and heartache, can be the same week that brought joy and overflow for someone else.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  When was the last time you asked the Lord to stop the rain?  Or when was the last time you asked Him to stop something that brought you discomfort and grief?  Do you realize, somewhere, someone is praying just the opposite.  What you are asking the Lord to stop, someone is asking God to start.  The rain that prevents you from enjoying a day at the park, is the same rain that allows the crops to grow for someone else.  So, who should God answer?  Your prayer or the other person?  My friend, He Will Do What He Wants To Do!  This is one of things that makes God so awesome.  No dilemma hinders the power of God.  The Bible declares in Psalms 62:11 - God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.  It is not that God does not hear your prayers.  It is not that God is ignoring you.  Truthfully, God operates according to Himself.  Man must answer to someone, but God answers to Himself.  Therefore He can never go against Himself.

My brother, my sister, as much as you try to persuade the Father, He cannot nor will not be manipulated by us.  He Will Do What He Wants To Do!  Before God ever conforms to our will, we will always surrender and submit to His.  The Bible declares in Psalms 73:28 - But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all Thy works.  Beloved, we must always remember God knows what is best.  He knows when to do it and when to wait.  He knows when to intervene and when to leave it alone.  He knows when you are ready for the overflow.  He knows when you are prepared for the next step or phase.  He knows when we have fulfilled the assignment given to us.  Instead of trying to deceive the Master into accepting your will, why not trust His will for you?  No matter how strong you feel about it, He Will Do What He Wants To Do!   Prayer for Today: Father, help me to obey Your will for my life.  You know what is best for me and my family.  Help me to realize You are always in control.  In Jesus’ name … Amen.

T.G.I.F. (The God I Follow)!

Friday, January 22nd, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever found yourself trying to explain to others why God continues to bless your steps?  For some apparent reason, you feel the need to apologize for being blessed and try explaining why it is that God blesses you.  Even if you try to explain it, you really do not understand yourself.  We have not lived sin-free.  We have not been perfect and upright.  We have fallen short many times and we have the potential to fall again.  God’s choice to bless you had nothing to do with the sweet voice you spoke with.  He was not overwhelmed by your smooth vocabulary.  Have you ever had people judge you because God was doing for you what they wanted Him to do for them?  In stead of believing God for their personal lives, people begin to use their energy against the chosen vessels of God.  Are you the chosen vessel or the jealous person?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Lets talk briefly this morning.  If you look back over your life, you can conclude one thing: It’s the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in my eyes (Psalms 118:22-23).  No matter how you try to understand it or explain it, God’s ways are higher than your ways and His thoughts are higher than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8).  Stop trying to dress up what God is doing in your life.  It is time for us to be honest with others and ourselves.  The truth of the matter really is, God desires to do it.  When people question how you received bountiful blessings, turn to them and say one thing … T.G.I.F. (The God I Follow)!  It is the God you follow that enables you to experience His abundance.  My friend, be not deceived.  Just because God is blessing you does not mean you are entitled to selfish ways.  You are blessed to bless.  The blessings of God were sent to you, that they may go through you for someone else.

My brother, my sister, your life is blessed because God saw fit to do it.  We were all headed for a life of hell and separation.  We all needed, and still need, the mercy of God.  Encourage those around you.  They need not be jealous of you.  The same God who blesses you, is the same God who can bless them as well.  Beloved, when people stare and point, allow your response to their questions to be: T.G.I.F. (The God I Follow)!  It is the Lord, not us.  The Bible declares in John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.  You are a chosen vessel of God.  He desires to use you for great things.  Do not allow the insecurities of others, to detour you from your destiny.  The next time a person questions why God is blessing you, do not get upset or consumed with anger.  Look them right in the eyes and say … T.G.I.F. (The God I Follow)!  Prayer for Today: Father, all that I have came from You.  All that I desire comes from You.  All that I will have, will come from You.  Thank You for it all.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

He Will Come In If You Invite Him!

Thursday, January 21st, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever been around friends or family members and everything they said was negative?  For some reason, they only had bad things to say or talk about.  These same people claim to be Believers of God but they often contradict themselves by their constant complaining and murmuring.  Have you ever worked around people who spent their lunch break griping about their supervisor or another co-worker?  This person spent an entire hour focusing on one individual.  How is it that we enable others to overtake us in anger?  How is it that we allow our jobs to consume our thoughts?  How is it that we forget God is the same God, no matter where we go?  So often in our lives, we become so preoccupied with the affairs of life until we forget to invite the Lord in.  We must understand while God is every where at the same time (omni-present), He still has an order He follows.  We must invite the Lord in.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Allow me to explain further.  God does everything decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).  He operates according to the standard He set for the world.  Therefore, the same way we ask God to use us is the same way God is desiring to enter into our daily affairs.  The Bible declares in Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.  Yes we know God could open the door Himself.  Yes we know God could knock the door down.  Yes we know God could enter without opening or knocking the door down.  However, that is not what the Lord will do.  There’s a responsibility we must uphold.  My friend, He Will Come In If You Invite Him!  Do not wait until things are going wrong in your life before you ask God to intervene.  Do not wait until hours before the due date before you ask God to provide for you.  Do not wait until you have fallen into sin or the traps of the enemy before you ask God to rescue you.

My brother, my sister, God is the only wise God our Father (Jude 1:25).  It is true, He does know all things.  He is all places at one time.  He is the greatest power in the world.  While this may be true, He is also a God who wants His children to invite His presence into their lives.  Be not deceived, we cannot survive without the Lord.  No matter how successful you think you are, all that you have is because of Him.  Beloved, He Will Come In If You Invite Him!  He will step in if you make room for His presence.  Once He steps in, then He will show out on your behalf.  What are you dealing with today?  What dilemma do you find yourself faced with this morning?  What struggle are you overwhelmingly involved in?  Have you invited the Master in?  Have you made room for His presence?  If no, what are you waiting for?  Prayer for Today: Father, as this day unfolds, I invite You to have Your way.  Lead me where You want me to go.  Guide me according to Your will.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

“Healed of the Lord!”

Wednesday, January 20th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  This morning’s devotional is short but impacting.  As your day unfolds, I would like to sow a word into your spirit.  Throughout today, I encourage you to declare these words, “Healed of the Lord!”  The Bible declares in 3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Many Believers are experiencing challenges within their bodies.  Many Believers have received negative reports from their doctors, have lost their supporting cast and have been left for dead.  However, I have been commissioned to come and inform you that the Lord has not forgotten about you.  He has heard your cry (Psalms 40:1).  He has noticed your tears (Psalms 126:5).  He has felt your pain.  He has watched the disbelief of others.  But, Beloved, you are …

“Healed of the

Lord!”

Walk in it today.

Declare it today.

Continuously recite it today.

Believe it today.

Live it today.

The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:24 - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.  Child of God, if no one else believes, never allow your words to speak anything less than healing and wholeness.

Always Remain Humble!

Tuesday, January 19th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Many times in our lives, we desire for God to use us in mighty ways.  Within there is a desire to glorify the name of Jesus wherever we go.  A strong fire burns within our spirits longing to please the Lord.  The more you do for the Lord, the more the yearning intensifies.  Have you ever found yourself being used by the Lord, for His glory, and the people were applauding you?  You must be very careful when this begins to occur.  Never has it been about you or me.  Never will it be about you or me.  The Lord chose to use us (John 15:16).  It was not because he could not find anyone else, but because He trust us with His anointing.  When you become overwhelmed with the accolades of man, you lose the fervor of the anointing.  Do you not realize, it is the anointing that destroys the yoke?  It is not you or me.

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Always Remain Humble!  Always remain at the feet of Jesus.  Never allow yourself to become high-minded and puffed up.  It is through your humility that God can exalt you.  The Bible declares in 1 Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:  One of the worse things to see is a Believer who acts as if God needs them.  A person who believes the world revolves around them.  A person who believes life does not begin until they arrive.  This person is bound for destruction.  The exaltation you desire comes as a result of your humility.  To be humble means you are not proud or haughty.  You are not arrogant.  Never forget where you were when the Lord changed your life.  Never forget what you were doing when the Lord changed your life.  Never forget the time and attention God spent to put you where you are now.  Its not about you or me.

My brother, my sister, Always Remain Humble!  Never allow the enemy to feed you with wrong information.  Pride is the same reason Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven (Isaiah 14:12-16).  God is looking for humble people.  People who know if God does not help me, I cannot do it.  A people who relies on the Lord for everything.  The Bible declares in James 4:10 - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.  Beloved, imagine how many people have been sat down by the Lord because they attempted to steal what rightfully belonged to Him.  The applauds, the accolades and the glory all belong to the Master.  It was nothing you did.  It was nothing I accomplished.  All that we have, God granted it unto us.  All that we enjoy, God made it possible.  All that we expect, God will be the supplier.  Always Remain Humble!  Prayer for Today: Father, I am who I am and where I am because of You.  Please forgive me when I lost sight of this.  I humble myself before You.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Its Great To Wait!

Friday, January 15th, 2016

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever prayed to the Lord for an immediate response to an immediate problem?  You desired God to respond A.S.A.P. to a “life or death” matter.  What you think is a life threatening dilemma are sometimes not as threatening as you really think.  As a people, we often want God’s undivided attention to all requests we make.  Have you ever prayed for an answer but it seemed as though the Lord was taking too long to respond?  As the time went on you began to feel God was not listening to you.  You decided to take matters into your own hand.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Do you realize God is always in control?  Have you forgotten who created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1)?  As my grandparents would often tell me, “God does not need help being God!”  You must understand the Lord knows what He is doing.  My friend, Its Great To Wait!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  The God we serve definitely knows what He is doing in each of our lives.  When have you ever been in trouble and the Lord did not show up on time?  Never have you been in trouble and the Lord did not step in on your behalf.  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

My brother, my sister, Its Great To Wait!  Today, what matter are you faced with?  What dilemma are you dealing with?  These matters are not hidden from the Lord.  These matters are not greater than God.  Just because you think God is taking too long, does not mean He is.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.  Beloved, if you take it upon yourself to “fix” the problem that only God can correct, you will find yourself experiencing harder times and worse days.  Its Great To Wait!  Be not dismayed, the Lord knows what He is doing.  Prayer for Today: Father, grant me the patience I need to trust in Your timing.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!
