You Can’t Touch This!

Wednesday, September 30th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you often felt as though everyone was out to destroy you?  For some reason it appears as though everyone in your life has an alternate plan.  Have you ever been kicked while you were already down?  After receiving life changing news (negative report), someone comes and throws another blow at you.  Have you ever cried out for help and your peers began to ignore or avoid you (Luke 10:31-33)?  When everything was going well, everyone was there.  Now that your are in serious need, the same people have exit the back door.  Many times the plans we have for our life never unfold the way we want them to.  The people you thought would always be there, are no longer around.  The things you grew to depend upon are now a vapor.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Life can be an interesting experience.  People can love you today and hate you by tomorrow.  Your finances can be awful today and overflowing tomorrow.  I have learned that things change, as well as people.  As a child of God, you have the one main component an unbeliever does not … Jesus!  As a result of this, you now have the ability to tell the enemy You Can’t Touch This!  The Bible declares in Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.   The blessings God has for you cannot be withheld no matter what the enemy attempts to do.  The only person, place or thing that can hinder you from receiving what God has for you, is … you!  The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.   You Can’t Touch This!

My brother, my sister, what are you going through today?  What lie has the enemy spoken to you?  What trap has he set against you?  Tell that lying devil, You Can’t Touch This!  The Bible declares in Psalms 105:15 - Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.  Beloved, there’s a new level God wants to take you.  There are new dimensions God wants you to experience.  Understand, the enemy will continue to attack you but you have the ability to rebuke and renounce his powers.  The Bible declares in Matthew 16:19 - And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  You Can’t Touch This!  Dear friend, have you given up on life?  Have you thrown in the towel?  Is there anymore life in you?  I encourage you to get up and fight back.  Prayer for Today: Father, today I declare you are Lord of my life.  Since I know this, I tell the devil he cannot touch me, my family or what’s mine, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Make Sure Its God!

Tuesday, September 29th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had friends pressure you into doing what you knew was not right?  They made every attempt to persuade you.  Have you ever found yourself in a difficult position on your job?  The temptation to lie was trying to overtake you.  Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life?  Everyday seemed to get harder and harder to handle.  Everyone and everything requires your attention.  You feel pressured to perform at the highest level man expects each day.  Have you ever tried to lock yourself in your bedroom, office or car?  You hoped hiding would erase the increasing demand.  Have you ever wanted to resign from a committee, a position or an organization?  Due to increasing disagreements, you have experienced a strong desire to separate yourself.  Can you relate to any of these questions?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Life will often place you in position where sudden decisions must be made.  There are times when you are not given ample time to think or meditate on the offers or assignments.  A response is requested immediately.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?  My friend, before you open your mouth to speak … Make Sure Its God!   The Bible declares in 1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Make sure your response is from the Lord.  Make sure you can hear the Lord speaking to you.  The enemy will always try to push you away from the will and plan of God.  You will receive offers that appear unreal.  Meet people with ulterior motives.  Meet wolves in sheep clothing.  Make Sure Its God!   Make sure what you do and why you do it brings glory to the Lord.  If what you are doing does not offer God glory, why are you doing it?

My brother, my sister, what are you involved in today?  Who are you serving?  What decision do you feel pressured to make?  Make Sure Its God!  Allow me to offer one point of advice.  If the decisions you make leave you confused, know that it is not of God.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.  Beloved, there are some things God will ask you to do that seem ridiculous.  You will question your abilities.  While that may be, God will not ask you to do something that causes confusion.  The enemy uses this to pollute your mind with his thoughts and plans.  The enemy is trying to destroy you and your relationship with God.  Make Sure Its God!  Dear friend, before you join yourself to a person, place or thing, make sure it is the Lord’s will for you.  Everything that seems good is not God.  Prayer for Today: Father, I have a desire to please You in all I do.  Please help me make decisions for Your glory.  Lead and guide my steps, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Don’t Cry, … Fight!

Monday, September 28th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever endured a storm that seemed to never end?  As time went on, and you suffered a little while, you assumed things would begin to change for you.  It has been days, weeks, months or even years and it feels as if the storm has not passed.  Have you ever felt like giving up in the middle of the battle?  For some reason, you no longer had the desire to fight.  What you once prayed for, now you do not feel it is worth it.  Have you ever asked God to take the pain away?  Things were so painful until you could no longer handle it.  The dilemma became overwhelming.  The responsibility began to consume you.  Are you currently experiencing a test?  Where you are in your life, are you faced with a challenge?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  So often in our lives, we find ourselves in the face of a giant.  This giant stands between you and your promise from the Lord.  As much as you scream or cry, this giant has no desire to move out of your way.  The enemy is trying all he can to keep you from receiving what the Lord has promised.  The giant is symbolic for whatever has been designed to stand in the way of your destiny.  My friend, Don’t Cry, … Fight!  This is not the time for you to cry and complain.  It is time for you to go after what the Lord said was yours.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.  The promises of God are assured.  If He said it, He will complete it (Philippians 1:6).  Knowing this, the enemy will try what he can to hinder the process.  Don’t Cry, … Fight!  You have to be willing to fight for what is yours.  While it is true, what God has for you is for you, the enemy is still going to attack when he can.  Your tears do not move him.  Wipe them and fight back.

My brother, my sister, what has the Lord promised you?  What has the Lord spoken in your spirit?  Do you still believe?  Don’t Cry, … Fight!  The Bible declares in 1 John 4:4 - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.  Beloved, the Lord is on your side.  He is a very present help in the time of trouble (Psalms 46:1).  You have to been determined.  You must not roll over and die.  Dear friend, do you realize the enemy is trying to steal your promise, kill your dreams and destroy your destiny (John 10:10).  Now is not the time to be passive and shy.  The Bible declares in Matthew 11:12 - And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.  When the enemy attacks on your job, in your home, at the church, in your finances, within your marriage, Don’t Cry, … Fight!  Fight for what the Lord has promised you.  Remember, anything worth having is worth fighting for.  Prayer for Today: Father, for too long I have allowed the enemy to attack me and I never fought back.  Today, I walk in the boldness and authority you gave me.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

Praise ye the Lord!

Friday, September 25th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Do you know that God is faithful?  In spite of what you have been through in life.  Do you understand how much He loves you?  Even when you did not love yourself, He still loved you.  Do you realize at your lowest points of life, He has always been there for you?  After all of your friends and family disappeared, He kept watch over you.  When no one could be found, you could always depend on the Lord.  When the storms of life were raging, God was your anchor.  When the enemy attempted to destroy you, God was your protection.  When your marriage, your ministry, your home, your children, or even your job was in jeopardy, God granted an unexplainable peace.  He is Faithful and Just.  Do you believe it?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and encourage you in the Lord.  My friend, what are you facing today?  What dilemma do you find yourself involved in?  You have tried everything and everyone, and the results have not changed.  The people you thought could be called on, failed.  Your hiding place was exposed.  The thing you hid behind has been taken away.  You feel as though your world is crumbling down.  Beloved, the Lord desires to free you from the turmoil of this life.  When your surroundings seem threatening, and everything is [seemingly] against you … Praise ye the Lord!  Stop complaining.  Stop griping.  Do you not know who your Father is?  Your Father responds to praise and worship, not whining and groping.  The Bible declares in 1 Chronicles 29:13 - Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.   Exalt the name of Jesus Christ.  Let your enemies know who your Father is.

My brother, my sister, hold your head up.  Walk with upright shoulders.  You have no reason to walk with a depressed demeanor.  God is on your side.  Through every attack of the enemy, Praise ye the Lord!  When your finances get low, Praise ye the Lord!  When tomorrow seems uncertain, Praise ye the Lord!   When your place of employment is hellish, Praise ye the Lord!   When your relationship is on the ropes. Praise ye the Lord!  When your friends laugh in your face, Praise ye the Lord!  Prayer for Today: Father, today I declare that you are God of all and in all.  No matter what my situation looks like, I give You the praise.  I know that my current situation is not greater than You.  Father, have Your way in my life.  In Jesus’ name … Amen!

It Is The Perfect Will of God!

Thursday, September 24th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.   Have you ever experienced rejection from your family and friends?  They wanted you to remain in a place of comfort, but you felt God leading you to step out on His word.  Have you ever heard God speak directly to you about something but others questioned it?  Since they did not hear it [first], they refuse to believe.  Have you ever felt as though it was you against the world?  Everything and everyone was fighting against you and your passion.  Has your anointing ever been criticized?  Has your ministry ever been labeled?  Have you ever prayed for God to cover and comfort you?  Are you questioning the call of God on your life?  Does you current situation seem unchangeable?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  So often in our lives, we find ourselves in an area of unfamiliar.  Everything around you is different.  Your comfort zone is no longer upholding you.  God has called you away from family and friends.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?  You are wondering why now?  Why me?  My friend, It Is The Perfect Will of God!  The Bible declares in Genesis 12:1 - Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  The place God is sending you may be unknown to you now.  You might be afraid of the outcome.  Beloved, whatever the Lord says, do it!  If God is trying to move you from something (old), it means He desires to take you to something (new).  Your will, must submit to His will.  Your way must surrender to His way.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.

My brother, my sister, where is God telling you to go?  Are you in the position to hear Him?  Are you obeying His voice?  It is not a mistake, It Is The Perfect Will of God!  The blessings of God are predicated on your ability to obey His word.  The Bible declares in Deuteronomy 28:2 - And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.  Dear friend, be not deceived, God knows what He is doing.  Where are you in your life today?  Are you in line with the will of God?  Have you gone astray?  Are you trying to ignore the voice of God (Deuteronomy 28:15)?  Is there something or someone trying to prevent you from obeying God?  Trust in the voice of God.  Stand on the Word of God.  Live by the commands of God.  Serve as a servant of God. Thought to Remember: It is no mistake, It Is The Perfect Will of God!

God Has The Answer

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had to endure hard times alone?  At the time you needed someone to be there, you could find no one.  Have you ever felt as though you were forgotten by friends and family?  As a result of your absence (for whatever reason), people have written you off the list.  Do you wonder if things will carry on without you around?  While you were in control everything was organized, but now that you are not around you worry.  Have you ever assumed the problem could not be fixed?  Since you unsuccessfully tried everything and everyone, you no longer believe it can be fixed.  Have you ever accepted defeat because you were afraid to fight back?  Because of fear and doubt, you accepted the attacks of the enemy.  Have you ever believed the lies spoken about you?  Are you allowing old things to break you?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  Throughout our lives we wrestle with many questions.  We worry about our future.  We worry about our finances.  We worry about our family and friends.  We wonder if everything we worked for will crumble in our face.  The questions of life.  Am I wasting my time?  Can I really make it out?  Can God really heal my body?  Do I have a purpose to fulfill?  Am I better than I was before?  Am I free from my past?  My friend, no matter what questions you pose, God Has The Answer!  He has the answer to your fears and doubts.  The Bible declares in Matthew 7:7 - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  Some days you find yourself overwhelmed with problems.  When you think one side is nailed down, the other side pops up.  After spending all of your energy trying to keep one side under control, you no longer have the energy to fight again.  Now the enemy is playing with your mind.  Now he has you hating your job, your neighborhood, your church and even yourself.  You are broken!  In the midst of it all, God Has The Answer!

My brother, my sister, God has not forgotten about you.  During this time in your life, He is closer to you than imagined.  Do not listen to the enemy.  Everything he says is a lie.  God has not brought you this far to allow you to fall apart.  God Has TheAnswer!   He has the answer to the question lingering in your mind.  He knows you want to ask Him.  He knows you want to experience release.  Beloved, there is a purpose behind your storm.  There is a divine plan for your current dilemma.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.  God knows what He is doing in and through you.  He knows what you are facing.  Your opposition does not threaten His Sovereignty.  He is not fearful of your enemies.  You have been chosen for such a time as this.  The Bible declares in James 4:2 - Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.   God Has The Answer, do you want it?  Prayer for Today, Father, I believe that no matter what I face today, you are still in control.  Have your way, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

Whatever You Do, Don’t Give Up!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever wanted to walk away from everything and everyone?  You were tired of feeling the way you felt.  Have you ever wanted to turn and walk away from years of hard-work?  It seems as though no one really appreciates your dedication.  Have you ever felt misunderstood or prejudged by society?  No matter what you do or say, someone takes it the wrong way.  Have you ever experienced discouragement because of a negative doctor’s report or financial statement?  Just when you thought things were getting better, everything came unscrewed.  Has your ministry ever endured lies and rumors?  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Whatever You Do, Don’t Give Up!  Life will often place you in a position of uncertainty.  There will be people, in your life, who become jealous of you.  Your ministry will experience lies and rumors from envious people.  Your body will endure a time of weariness and despair.  Giving up seems easy now.  Walking away becomes tempting.  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness …  At your lowest point in life, God is still strong.  When everything seems chaotic in your life, God is still in control.  When others mock you, God is still faithful.  Whatever You Do, Don’t Give Up!  You must continue praising the Lord.  When you feel like no one else believes, you cannot give in to their disbelief or negativity.

My brother, my sister, what are you currently faced with today?  Has life placed a hurdle in your plans?  Have you experienced betrayal and deceit?  Do you feel alone?  Whatever You Do, Don’t Give Up!  The Bible declares in Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  You are able to overcome your current dilemmas.  You can make it through.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  God has not forsaken you.  Do not quit on the plans of God for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).  You must learn to encourage (minister) yourself in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6).  You have to speak life to any dead situations in your life (Proverbs 18:21).  The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:13-14 - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, …  Whatever You Do, Don’t Give Up!  Challenge for the Day: When quitting enters your mind, counter it with your praise.

Are You Persuaded?

Monday, September 21st, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever wondered if things would change in your life?  Currently you cannot see the light shining at the end of the tunnel.  Have you ever witnessed friends and family members experiencing a season of overflow but you were enduring a season of drought?  It seemed as though everything they touched prospered but the things you touched fell apart.  Have you ever lost belief in yourself?  No matter what others said about you, doubt and disbelief would not allow you to see clearly.  There are times in life when encouraging yourself becomes difficult.  You specialize when it is time to encourage others, but you freeze when it is time to minister to YOU.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, there are times when you will experience isolation from people, places and things.  A time when all you have to depend on is the presence of God.  Are You Persuaded?   Are you totally convinced that God is all you need?  When everything and everyone has disappeared, are you 100 percent sure God is more than enough in your life.  The Bible declares in Romans 8:38-39 - For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  There comes a time when the fancy sayings we use must be put to the test.  There may be periods in your life when no one believes in your dream … but you!  Are You Persuaded?  Persuaded that nothing nor anyone can do what Jesus can.

My brother, my sister, if your life does not consist of God, you are not living.  If your priorities do not place God first, you have an unbalanced life.  What has the Lord promised you?  What has the Lord spoken in your spirit?  Are You Persuaded?  The Bible declares in Romans 4:21 - And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.  God is able to do what He declared He would.  He is God of all and in all.  Beloved, you must be convinced that God can and will.  You must not depend on what others say about the Lord, you must know for yourself.  The Bible declares in Romans 14:5 - … Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.  Are You Persuaded?  Dear friend, your mind must be sure of the God you serve.  I am persuaded that God is God, are you?  Prayer for Today: Father, today I stand prepared to be used by you for your glory.  I am persuaded that you are God.  Have thine own way, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Says Who?

Friday, September 18th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  When was the last time you told the Lord thank you?  Thank you for being God.  Thank you for continuously watching over me and my family.  Thank you for sending your only begotten Son to die for me.  Thank you for comforting me in my time(s) of brokenness, loneliness and sadness.  Thank you for making ways when I could not see a way out.  When was the last time you told someone about the goodness of God?  You told them how the Lord has brought you through many test and trials.  You told them how God has changed your life.  You testified that if it had not been for the Lord … (Psalms 124:1-3).  Have you ever allowed someone to discourage you from believing God could do it?  Due to someone else’s unbelief, have you found yourself questioning the possibilities?  Are you confident that God can do it, even if no one else believes?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I have a question in my spirit for you to answer.  My friend, Says Who?  It is not a long question or a grammatically correct question, but it still deserves a response.  Who said you could not do great things for the Lord?  Who said God could not use you for His glory?  Who said your mistakes could not be corrected by the love of God?  Who said God was mad at you?  Who have you been listening to?  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:25 -Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.  Think about the question.  Says Who?  Who told you it was impossible?  Who laughed when you told them your dream?  Who mocked your faith in the Lord?  Who questions your sincerity?  Many times we experience turbulence in our lives because those around us seldom believe what we believe.  Sometimes we find ourselves surrounded by carnally minded people who cannot see pass the hand in front of them.

My brother, my sister, I come to tell you, God can and will do it.  He will do what man said was impossible (Luke 1:37).  He will use the one that worldly and self-righteous people rejected.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 - But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.  Says Who?  Beloved, I stand to tell you God is able to do anything He chooses to do.  Can you believe it?  For every person who said God could not use you for greatness, I come to tell you the devil is a liar.  Stand up!  Put your head up!  Go forth!  There is work to be done today.  Prayer for Today: Father, some have said it was impossible.  Some have walked away in doubt and disbelief. Today, I stand as a believer in You.  I know you can and you will.  Thank you, in Jesus’ name … Amen!

To Everything There Is A Season!

Thursday, September 17th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever given your all to a person, place or thing but was overlooked when accolades were distributed?  It seemed as though the late night meetings, last minute phone calls and encouraging words were overlooked or forgotten.  Have you ever sacrificed everything you owned to assist someone who was in need, but when the tables turned no one was there to help you?  You gave bountifully to organizations in need, but when you were in need people forgot about you.  Have you ever felt cheated by friends and family?  Due to your generous heart and free spirit, you often find yourself being walked over.  Are you currently recovering from the neglect and abuse of relationships?  You offered your all to a person, but (s)he left you broken.  Has life caused you to feel bitter?  Have you become furious with everyone?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  In the beginning you were the person everyone called on for encouragement.  You enjoyed sharing a scripture or offering prayer to those in need.  It brought you great joy when people asked for your advice regarding a personal matter.  As time has gone on you no longer feel valuable.  The people who once contacted you have forgotten your phone number.  My friend, To Everything There Is A Season!  There are times when you feel appreciated by everyone; but there are also times when you feel unappreciated.  The Bible declares in Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  During the times, in your life, when you feel unvalued, you must never allow the enemy to pollute your mind and thoughts.  Allow me to ask a question.  When people were calling on you for assistance, were you doing it for the glory of God or for self-glorification?  To Everything There Is A Season!  There are times when God will use you for the assignment and there are times when He will use someone else.

My brother, my sister, just because your name is not being called does not mean you are ineffective for ministry.  If you were doing it all for God’s glory, bitterness and resentment should not consume you.  The Bible declares in Colossians 3:23 - And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;  To Everything There Is A Season!  Beloved, there’s a season of public display and there’s a season of quiet service.  Beware of the enemy’s traps.  The enemy will allow you to feel untouchable and irreplaceable.  You will begin to think it cannot be done unless you do it.  You will begin to compare and compete your ministry with others.  None of this brings glory to the Lord.  The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.  During the times that you feel overlooked, learn how to encourage yourself (1 Samuel 30:6).  Prayer for Today: Father, forgive me for thinking it was all about me.  It was you who selected me for this great assignment.  I give you all of the glory, honor and praise.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!
