It’s Time For You To Choose!

Tuesday, June 30th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever met someone or knew someone who had wonderful ideas but struggled with making decisions?  They knew how to gather all of the details to prove a point, but when they were forced to decide this same person found it difficult.  Have you ever had to choose between one offer versus another?  While you truly liked both things, you knew a decision had to be made … possibly leaving someone upset.  Do you realize life has a way of pressing you against the wall?  Do you realize life has a way of dropping you to your knees in pain and agony?  Do you realize life has a way of stripping you of everything you’ve worked so hard to achieve?  Child of God, if or when these things take place you have to learn how to come back fighting.  Yes, it is easy to throw in the towel.  Yes, it is easy to quit without ever using any energy.  What will you do?

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  The Spirit of the Lord has anointed me to sow this devotional into your spirit.  For so long we, as Believers, have proclaimed to love the Lord.  We do not hesitate when it comes to telling someone about God’s goodness.  However, the world we live in is crowded with fake and phony people.  People who smile and perform on the outside, but are crying and hiding within.  Since we do not want to be looked down upon by our peers, we act as if everything in our life is “A-Okay!”  Is this you?  Can you relate?  My friend, It’s Time For You To Choose!  Yes it is wonderful to have friends and supporters who push us to excel in life, but what price are you paying to continue the friendship?  Are you settling because you fear being alone?  Are you compromising your faith because he/she is so desirable?  The Bible declares in Matthew 6:24 - No man can serve two masters …

My brother, my sister, aren’t you tired of living your life for everyone else?  Aren’t you tired of wasting your energy on people who really do not care for you?  Aren’t you tired of faking your happiness because the devil is threatening you with loneliness?  Aren’t you tired of hiding the way you truly feel about the Lord because some man or woman thinks you are too holy?  Man please!  You need to stop living for everyone else.  If people cannot accept who you are, then its time for you to move on.  God did not create you to mimic someone else.  You are an original not a cheap copy of someone else.  Beloved, It’s Time For You To Choose!  The Bible declares in Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Question to Ponder: When will you start living your life and not someone else’s life?

What Is It Going To Take For You To Obey God?

Monday, June 29th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, as I was seeking the Lord for a word, He spoke something very powerful into my hearing.  So often we ask God for so many things, but we refuse to do what He tells us to do.  It is easy for us to run to Him for favor after favor after favor, but when He begins to give conditions we no longer want to remain faithful to Him.  How amazing it is to see people and know people who claim to really love the Lord, but their actions and words appear different.

Beloved, today I have been sent to ask you one question (and that is it):

What Is It Going To Take For You To Obey God?

Now is the time for you to sit down and decide whether you are going to fully obey God or continue trying to do it your way.  I trust you know what I am talking about.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 1:19 - If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

He Promised Me!

Friday, June 26th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.   Has God been good to you?  Has He kept watch over you?  When times were difficult and uncertain, did God comfort and supply for you?  So often in our lives, we lose sight on the Sovereignty of God.  We often forget God is always in control.  Come what may, God is a present help for you (Psalms 46:1).  Friends appear and then disappear, but God remains faithful.  Giving up has become a possibility for you.  You are tired of fighting and defending yourself.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  I know each day presents different challenges.  Someone is always attempting to destroy you.  Negativity has attempted to surround you.  My friend, through all you are currently experiencing, God has never left you alone (Hebrews 13:5).  When times become stressful in your life, you must learn to minister to yourself.  You must begin to say to yourself, “He Promised Me!”  The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.   He (God) promised me peace in my storm (Philippians 4:7).  He promised to supply all of my needs (Philippians 4:19).  He promised to heal my body (Isaiah 53:5).  He Promised Me!

My brother, my sister, has God promised anything to you?  Do you remember the promise?  When times become overbearing, you must hold-fast to the promise(s) of God.  If everything and everyone fails you, never let go of God’s promise to you.  The Bible declares in Romans 4:20-21 - He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.  Thought to Remember: If God gave the promise, you can rest on it!

He Can Still Do It, If You Let Him!

Thursday, June 25th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.   Have you ever experienced hell on earth?  Everything you touch seems deadly.  Have you ever felt cursed?  What about doomed?  So often in our lives, believers of the Almighty God spend so much time worrying about voodoo hexes and root workers.  We spend every waking moment thinking about people who, we think, want to destroy us.  We are alive, but there is no life in us.  We’re a formation without direction.  Does this sound like anyone you know?  Does this sound like you?

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, even in the midst of a bad doctor’s report, God still has a plan for your life.  In the face of adversity, God has a way of escape for you.  When everything and everyone seem motivated to destroy you, God has a hedge of protection surrounding you.  I know things could be better.  We all would love life with no problems.  Guess what?  After all you have endured, and after all the pain you have experienced, He Can Still Do It, If You Let Him!  Do what you may ask?  He can do just what He said He would.  The Bible declares in Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.  You are a child of the never-failing Master.  He Can Still Do It, If You Let Him!

My brother, my sister, do you still believe in the Lord’s abilities?  Have you lost the faith?  Do you not know, God can heal your body?  Do you not know, God can restore your marriage?  Do you not know, God can give peace in a hellish situation?  Yes, He Can Still Do It, If You Let Him!  He can do just what He said He would.  The Bible declares in Numbers 23:19 - God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?  Dear friend, do not plan for death.  Do not live to die, but live to live again.  After the negative report, you can still live again.  After the dilemma, you can still live again.  The Bible declares in Deuteronomy 30:19I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  Thought to Remember: He Can Still Do It, If You Let Him!

Do You Really Trust The Lord?

Wednesday, June 24th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, late last night, as I was preparing for bed, the Lord began to deal with me about the lack of trust within the body of Christ.  The more the Lord spoke, the more I realized He wanted me to share it as today’s devotional.  As you are reading, if any of this applies to you, just say ouch (I know I did).  Here is what the Lord said to me …

“My people do not truly trust me.  They act as if they do based upon the people they are around, but I see and know the intents of their hearts.  Their trust for me is conditional.  As long as I am doing what they want they love me, but if I do not respond based on their timetables then the same people begin to revert back to their way(s) of doing things.  Each and everyday I hear their prayers, petitions, pleas and promises.  While they sound so sincere, their heart is not really genuine.  Its offensive to see how My people fail to realize I know them better than they know themselves.  They cannot deceive me.  I know if they really love me or if it is just lip service.  I am the Lord, I deserve their love and respect.  Who else can do what I have done?  Who else can do what I do?  Who else can do what I plan to do?

When my people are in need of finances, they run to get second jobs, play the lottery, call their connections, take out more loans or sell personal items.  I am their last option.  When my people are in need of an answer, they run to tarot cards, horoscopes or palm readers.  I am their last option.  When my people are offended by someone else, they quickly plot a way to get revenge.  They forget vengeance is mine.  When my people are hurting in their bodies, they run to drugs, alcohol, grandmas remedies or Internet medical websites.  They forget My word has every answer they are in need of.  They forget by His stripes they are healed.  When my people are in need of comfort, they run to loved ones, friends, past mates, ungodly men or women, sex.  They forget the Holy Spirit was sent to be their Comforter.

Where is the trust?  If My people would sit down and think about all I have done for them, THEY would realize I have always been there for them.  Never have I neglected them.  Never have I turned my back on them.  I despise sin and I will not look upon it.  If they want to run their own lives, I can make it possible (Romans 1:28).  I am the Lord, I change not.  My WORD is available.  I AM available.  BUT, I am tired of people saying they love me, but their hearts are far from me.  I am tired of the stiff-necked people.  I AM the Lord, I deserve better.  It is time for My people to answer one important question: Do they really trust me?”

Who Told You It Could Not Be Done?

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever had someone tell you something you were working toward would not work?  After days and nights of praying and fasting, this person had the audacity to tell you your sacrifices would amount to nothing.  Just because they do not believe the Lord like you do, now they’re determined to hinder your belief.  Beware of people who attempt to keep you from trusting in the Lord.  Have you ever had a family member or friend step on your dreams?  Since they have never seen it done before, they do not believe what you are working toward is possible.  These people lack the boldness needed to stand in the face of the enemy and rebuke him, but they have the boldness to stand before you and speak against what you are believing God for.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, Who Told You It Could Not Be Done?  Who stood in your face and spoke against your dreams?  Who, behind your back, has been speaking against your vision?  It is amazing to think how easy it is for some people to second guess whether God can do what you are believing Him to do.  It is amazing to see how people can attend church every Sunday, attend Bible Study throughout the week, read their Bibles daily, pay their tithes, give their offerings, sing songs of Zion, and still not fully believe in the Lord.  The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 1:27 - But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; Child of God, just because your friends or family members love you does not mean they will support or agree with what you are asking from the Lord.

My brother, my sister, in spite of what others have said, do you still believe in the Lord’s abilities?  Do you still know God is able?  Do you still trust in the Lord’s promises?  Have you lost hope because everyone around you has lost hope?  Does your faith depend on a certain percentage of support?  Beloved, Who Told You It Could Not Be Done?  Who told you our God has limitations?  I beg the differ.  The God I serve is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (all-places at one time).  He is not boxed in to a geographic region.  Whether your friends or family members believe or not, He is still God and He is still able!  The Bible declares in Romans 8:31 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  Closing Thought: Just because someone else has doubts, does not mean you stop believing.

Stop Living By The Opinions Of Everyone Else!

Monday, June 22nd, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, today’s devotional is short, simple but powerful.  I believe if you can apply this one to your own life, you can overcome the stress and the strain you endure each day.  Beloved, …

Stop Living By The Opinions Of Everyone Else!

Stopping allowing what someone else says or thinks about you to control your behavior.  You need to serve the Lord and honor His word, not man.  The Bible declares in Psalms 118:8 - It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

He Heard Your Cry!

Friday, June 19th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever cried yourself to sleep at night?  You were overwhelmed with life’s problems and tragedies.  Have you ever felt neglected by family and friends?  During your lowest moments in life, everyone disappeared.  Have you ever wondered what went wrong?  Things started out so well for you, but over time it took a turn for the worse.  Have you ever prayed and asked God for understanding?  It seemed as though nothing was clear anymore.  Have you ever been there?  Are you there now?  The point when crying is the only thing you do well.

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, He Heard Your Cry!  God heard your cry for help.  He heard your plea for assistance.  Although things are uncomfortable right now, God is on the case.  The Bible declares in Psalms 40:1 - I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  When no one noticed your heartaches and pains, God did.  When no one could see your wounds, God did.  When you were breaking down, God noticed.  Today you may feel depressed and be full of despair, but beloved He Heard Your Cry!  He heard what no one else could hear.  The Bible declares in Isaiah 59:1 - Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear:  When your life appears chaotic and in disarray, God can still hear your voice through it all.  When you wear the mask to impress the crowd, God sees beyond the act.

My brother, my sister, the nights you cried yourself to sleep, He Heard Your Cry!  The mornings you broke down in the shower, He Heard Your Cry!  When you were in your car screaming and shouting for help, He Heard Your Cry!  When the enemy sought to destroy you, He Heard Your Cry!  The Bible declares in Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  What are you going through today?  What have you been crying about lately?  The Lord is present.  When everyone has forsaken you, the Lord will continue to be there for you (Hebrews 13:5) (Psalms 27:10). He has come to wipe your tears away.  The Bible declares in Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  Dear friend, no matter how awful it appears, He Heard Your Cry!  Thought for Today: When you need help, call on the Lord (pride will never help).

Get Wisdom, Get Understanding!

Thursday, June 18th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Have you ever made a decision without any prior knowledge of what you were deciding on?  Someone was so eager to get you involved that you said, “Yes” without thoroughly thinking it through.  From a distance, they seemed so happy with their decision.  You figured if they were happy with the results so would you.  The pressure from your peers was overbearing.  Every time you saw them, they wanted you to give them your answer.  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  So often in our lives, we make life-changing decisions without ever praying first.  We make a mess of our lives because someone talked us into investing time and money.  Supporting your family and friends is a kind gesture.  Wanting to make them happy is as well.  But you must use discernment when making decisions.  My friend, Get Wisdom, Get Understanding!  As children of God, we need to operate in the wisdom of God and with the understanding given by God.  The Bible declares in Proverbs 4:5 - Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.  With the wisdom of God in your life, you will find yourself praying about things before youreact to them.  You will seek God first (Matthew 6:33) before you make foolish investments.

My brother, my sister, it is God’s desire for His children to have and live an abundant life.  While living the abundant life, you need to understand that everyone who is with you is not for you.  Get Wisdom, Get Understanding!  The Bible declares in Proverbs 4:7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.  You cannot effectively manage a business or ministry, without wisdom and understanding.  The effectiveness of your marriage will be hindered, without wisdom and understanding.  Dreams, goals and desires can be blocked, without wisdom and understanding.  Thought to Remember: Before you make any decisions, ask God for wisdom and understanding because sometimes people leave out key information.

What You Do Does Affect Others!

Wednesday, June 17th, 2015

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God.  Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My brother, my sister, often times in each of our lives we fail to really understand the impact our lives have on others.  Many people believe as long as they stay under the radar their okay.  They believe as long as they keep their mouths shout their okay.  They believe as long as they stay out of other people’s affairs, then their okay.  They believe as long as they do what is required of them, then their okay.  Are you this person?  You live your life in the safe zone.  You enjoy being saved, but you also hope and pray God never requires anything major from you.  While you love the body of Christ, you still desire to operate as a “loner!”  Have you been there?  Are you there now?

Beloved, I have been instructed to sow this word into your spirit.  Whether you realize it or not, …

What You Do Does Affect Others!

I know you think as long as you remain quiet, no one will get hurt; But truthfully speaking, whether you keep quiet or not, if you are operating outside of the Lord’s will many people will be affected.  I am not sure if you realize it or not, but the calling on your life goes far beyond you.  There are people God wants to use you to impact.  While you are trying to run and hide from your calling, the devil is seriously attacking the people God anointed you to impact.  The Bible declares in Matthew 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.  Child of God, its time for you to say, “YES” to the will of God for your life … someone needs it!
